what if after pandoras vault c!dream develops agoraphobia.
C!techno had teased him for not having a house for so long, and now he can barely even leave his room.
c!dreams actions are bad enough on their own,, you don’t need to make shit up!!
when will people stop saying that c!dream is manipulating c!ranboo,,
So many people argue that c!dream being imprisoned and tortured is best for c!tommy... is it really? Surely the most reassuring thing for him would be knowing that his abuser has been rehabilitated and no liber want to hurt him? Instead he just lives everyday unsure if c!dream will escape and hurt him again. Perpetuating the cycle of violence, focusing on the punishment of crimes rather then the prevention of them future ones, hurts everybody, including c!tommy.
After pandoras vault, c!dream can’t be around clocks anymore; not without falling into a dissociative state, convinced he once again has nothing but the endless ticking to keep him sane
thinking abt c!dream avoiding one half of the cell, and staying close to the lava. c!techno finally asks him what’s wrong, and him haltingly explaining that c!quackity held his head underwater whenever he got bored of using weapons, and now he can’t go near the sink.
With C!dream claiming to be a god, there are three options.
He’s telling the truth (which is a definite possibly when taking into account c!dreamxd), he’s lying, or he genuinely believes it.
If he’s lying, he was quite literally dehumanising himself. He was trying to make other people see him as a just a threat, instead of a person. It would also serve as a way to purge himself of his attachments, after all, what deity cares about mere humans?
But if he genuinely believed it, that is a delusion of grandeur, and should be taken seriously. It can be a feature of mania or psychosis, and can be extremely dangerous. (C!dream does not necessarily have either of these conditions, but it is concerning nonetheless)
I can make it worse- is dying of old age a thing in minecraft? Because we don’t know if c!dream can commit suicide to bring about a canon death, so did he ever wonder if he would just be left there? That everyone on the server would leave, that he would be forgotten or intentionally left behind. Doomed to spend eternity locked in pandoras vault. Without having even a clock to keep him company, because he’d destroyed it in a desperate ploy for human interaction. I make myself sad sometimes
currently wondering what the longest time c!dream went without human contact was

‘C!dream is a master manipulator!’
Is he really though?? He managed to get himself locked in a literal torture vault?? He didn’t realise punz was going to betray him, he alienated all of his allies.
Either c!dream isn’t great at the whole manipulation thing, or some of that was intentional
I’ve seen a lot of people say that c!dreams behaviour in pandoras vault is him ‘manipulating’ everyone, and whilst I personally don’t think so, I wouldn’t care if he was. Even if he is altering his demeanour to illicit sympathy- it’s for the goal of avoiding torture? So many of c!dreams actions are unjustifiable, but that is most certainly not one of them.
If during exile, c!tommy had been lying to his visitors or to c!dream with the end goal of securing his freedom, that would be 100% understandable. If his suicidal ideation had been an act to bring about the end of exile, these actions would have been seen as clever, as a smart tactic c!tommy was utilising. Most people would see this manipulation as a way of escaping his abuser.
In addition, if someone is self harming ‘for attention’, it still counts as self harm and needs to be taken seriously. The fact that c!dream is in such a desperate situation that he has committed suicide multiple times is extremely worrying-regardless of any other outcomes he is attempting to achieve.
C!dream antis often end up weirdly pro c!dream??? If he truly is a ‘monster incapable of empathy’ I find him less responsible. Whereas if he cared about people, understood their feelings, and hurt them regardless? That makes his actions so much worse.
I have a love hate relationship with the name pandoras vault.
On the one hand it’s so cool! My first thought when hearing it was that it’s so clever, and I love mythology references (plus the continuation with ‘Theseus’ is rly nice)
But it also does the exact same thing that the fandom does to c!dream. The metaphor of the name directly compares him to the embodiment of all evil; and suggests that anyone who lets him out would be a fool, who is putting everyone else in grave danger. The contents of the original pandoras box weren’t people capable of change, they were instead concepts.
Anytime someone dehumanises c!dream I love him even more out of spite
‘C!dream doesn’t like c!techno! He’s just using him!’ - what???? He literally stood up to his torturer for c!techno??
c!dream was proven right about attachments; over and over again
Fandom critical-
I think some c!tommy apologists who are also c!dream antis don’t think ANYONE is allowed to like morally grey characters. In order to like c!tommy, they feel as though he can’t have any flaws. That if he’s both a bit of a dick sometimes and still their favourite character, it’s a moral failing on their part. And if they have to make c!tommy perfect in order to like him, how can they let others appreciate c!dream?
How did I just see someone only care abt the conditions in pandoras vault because of c!tommy being in there??? I hate twitter so much oh my goodness.
C!dreams diet is not nutrionally sufficient. He has no source of vitamin A or B12. Whilst the latter cause extreme fatigue, the former cause vision problems, especially in low light conditions. He wouldn’t notice it in pandoras vault, not with the ever present lava, but afterwards he is so much more vulnerable. The night is an even bigger threat, and he carries a light source on him at all times.
C!dream learns to fear the night, the shadows, the unknown.
thinking abt critiquing the entire existence of the revenge trope as it pertains to pandoras vault,, someone hype me up i need the confidence boost
Are the c!dream antis ready to hear the research on solitary confinement yet or???
I don’t think anyone has to like c!dream. If hating him is how you enjoy the story-go for it! If the prison arc was cathartic for you, I’m glad the story could provide that.
But do not insult others for having a different view of the characters, and for the love of god don’t say that the torture and abuse he experienced was justified. Or at the very least, tag your crit.
Some people- the exile arc was harmful, it nearly drove c!tommy to suicide’
Me- ‘okay we can agree on that! And that the prison arc is also harmful because c!dream has been driven to suicide. Right?’
Some people- ‘no c!dream is a psychopath/ is incapable of feeling bad/ is only copying how c!tommy reacted/ is manipulating everyone/ deserves it.’
What. The. Fuck.
If you think c!dream deserves torture because ‘he doesn’t have any empathy’, you are not an ally to autistic people.
Top tip- avoid anyone who calls c!dream a psychopath.
Killing a surrendered enemy is a war crime
It’s really fun being in a fandom who can’t decide what words mean. Apologist? Sympathiser? NO ONE CAN COME TO A CONSENSUS ON THE DEFINITION OF THESE WORDS! I see them completely swap meaning regularly- you can no longer just use the term, you also have to explain your interpretation of it.
For anyone who enjoyed seeing c!dream ‘get what he deserved’ in pandoras vault- have you done any research into the prison industrial complex?
Dream does not need to be or act traumatised by his experience in prison in order for it to be wrong.
I’ve seen some people say that pandoras vault was fine until c!quackity started torturing c!dream.
Daily reminder that solitary confinement is a form of torture.
