Triple Fortune: for authentic, high-quality (and fucking expensive) pieces. I think you would like the craftsmanship and attention to detail. Although Triple Fortune has a lot more florals but still does have some darker stuff that fits your aesthetic nicely so idk if you'd like that one.

Baby, The Stars Shine Bright: very lolita and ✨️clothes dye✨️ can be used for the desired colours aesthetic again. And they do offer a lot of darker stuff as well that i think you'd like and some are similar to your current outfit

Angelic Pretty: So im gonna need you to trust me on this one because it is very pink and not your vibe at all BUT ✨️clothes dye✨️ and it would work and they also sell parasols (in black!) And you seem like you would cary a parasol so yey!

Moi-même-Moitié: They focus on the elegant gothic look, and their items have a heavy Christian religious influence so I'm not too sure again.

The ever reliable Ebay or Etsy: as long as you search like somone old would call things, eg. corset=bustier (not saying you'd get one it was the only thing off the top of my head while typing this) it is quite easy to find stuff that fits your vibe

Also you could commission custom pieces because that would allow you to have garments perfectly tailored to your taste.

I dare you to ask @just-a-sad-sad-frog for shop recommendations for clothes in your style.

Part 1

The Stunning Astronomical Beadwork of Native Artist Margaret Nazon

Margaret Nazon has spent the past decade building intricate beadwork depictions of outer space. The colorful artworks balance representational and stylized aesthetics set on black fabric backgrounds to depict galaxies, planets, nebulae, and other astronomical phenomena.

Initially inspired by Hubble space telescope images, Nazon’s celestial renderings are part of a lifelong interest in beading. In an interview with Glenbow, the artist shared that she began beading at age 10, but found the density of traditional beadwork to be tedious.

The abstract nature of celestial images allows Nazon to be more interpretive and incorporate different materials like caribou bones and willow seeds that have location-specific or cultural significance. Nazon is Tsiigehtchic, part of the Gwich’in community in what is now the Northwest Territories of Canada. The artist explained that because she is retired, she is able to dedicate significant time to beading, and often rises at 4:30am to begin working. Nazon plans to continue experimenting, including merging her abstract beadwork with her seamstress skills to create artfully embellished apparel.

Nazon’s artwork was most recently exhibited at Glenbow in a group show, Cosmos, and A Beaded Universe at Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre. You can read more about her in the Glenbow interview, and explore Nazon’s portfolio on her website.

The Element swap au version of Celestia! I decided to redesign her and Luna for this au cause I could.

Many legends and myths are had about the pony who ruled Equestria alone for 1000 years. It was bound to happen, as many generation are had in that time. And no pony really got close to her in that time. 

No pony alive other than Luna and the Princess Consort (to be designed) know what the face and cutie mark of the reigning deity looks like. This is because many legends prevailed in ancient times that said that looking upon her golden visage would blind a pony. For, they could not stand to see anything more after seeing such beauty. And, well, she just got used to it after the years. It’s second habit now. As for the cutie mark, no pony knows why she hides it other than Luna and the Princess Consort.... It’s a sun, right?

I had a lot of fun with this one. It was a neat to try out and practice different sorts of lighting and shading.

Nightmare Celestia Another old photoshop drawing I made back in middle school. I drew this before the reveal of Daybreaker in the show.

I didn’t manage to finish this in time for the Eclipse, but I’ll eventually get back to it.

↑I actually drew a freaking scene! And my drawing really looks so much better! The style inspired by Jay P. Fosgitt's art (his designs for characters in mlp comic are amazing).

↑They wanted me to draw sth nice(?) and a bit angsty(?) as well, with two Danny(s) in it… I wasn't quite sure what that means😂 so I had to imagine the whole scene myself and considered quite some options, and originally I was going to draw sth horrifying, but then I remembered that the content should be PG-13. After carefully considering, I drew this, and I think it looks pretty fine. 😂

↑They just wanted to see them eating ice cream together. I even practised a bit of drawing ice cream for this… 😂

You know, I'm actually pretty proud of all the Ducktales contents this time… I It was my first time to draw DT… Ah, Scrooge is a freaking awesome character! He's one of my favourite characters.

This bad boy is a bit harder to draw, compared to other characters here. But… but this is one of my FAVOURITE villains, and it was really interesting to draw him.

And I know I do draw a lot of Dan, but

Little Dan doesn't count! I mean the one I always draw is from my freaking AU, and everything is different, okay? 😂😂😂

Oh, and the sketch before I make the final drawing… I practised a bit… But didn't take it too seriously, and I KNOW the obvious problems… I could draw better, but I didn't anyway.🙄 I wanted to focus on gesture lines so I switched to a more cartoonic style…

(And I do need to learn and practise more🙄)
