HII CHERRY!! as you wish!

from the first year gang, Deuce is actually my favorite! (Jack comes as a veeery close second fave) at the prologue I didn't really think much about him, then chapter 1 came and I decided he was going to be one of my favorites. yes it was at the eggs scene. HE'S JUST SO SWEET? I already have a soft spot for these delinquent types of characters and then he loves his mom so much he just wants to make her proud??? LITERALLY DEUCE SPADE THE ONLY MAN EVER

I think a lot about him, I'm sure if I was at NRC he'd be one of my first friends <3 he may be slow, but he's sooo dedicated it's truly endearing! I think he might come to ask for my help during classes and immediatly I'd go: you. you are my friend now.

the way he cares so much about his friends is so cute too, how he's ready to throw fists to protect them!! and when he switches to his gangster personality and everyone gets shocked it's so funny, I love his angry face sprite

there are so many scenes with Deuce that I absolutely adore, the eggs scene on chap1, when he comes to rescue us at the end of chap4, when he goes to the beach with Epel on chap5, the whole Wish Upon a Star event, his Ceremonial Robes vignette...

he makes me have to resist the urge to kiss his cheeks every time he says something cute. I'm squeezing his cheeks right now, they are irresistible. the way I'd be so ready to throw hands the moment anyone says anything bad about him ever. yes that includes Ace, square up!! I'm defending him with my life!!!

the way his character developed more on chap5 and he discovered his U.M. was sooo cool I was so proud of him!! I'd be bragging about it to the entire school "oh, Deuce has got the coolest Unique Magic I've ever seen. yup, even better than the dorm leaders!! he solos anyone with it!" cue to him being flustered but very pleased about it while Ace sulks on the background

I LOVE HIM HE'S SO SWEET <3 I know he's the type of guy that makes you smile whenever you're sad... the type of guy to send you notes in class with silly doodles... the type of guy to talk with you at parties if he sees you're alone...

I really like how Kalim is such a friendly presence in NRC! and how despite being rich enough to be able to buy the whole school if he wanted to, he never acts as if he's above others! I'll hold him gently too. also he's. literally SO pretty. every single groovy of his look stunning.

fr fr he's the sweetest and I'll protect him with my life 💪 I think I'd be friends with him pretty easily, even tho I'm more introverted, since he's so open! like I know he wouldn't judge anything that I say and he can carry the conversation if needed 🙏

onto the shameless promo: this idol kalim scmau! IT'S SO FUNNY I laugh so much at every chapter, everyone is a mood on their own amd Kalim is so sweet!

I also feel that the fandom does him dirty tho... Kalim is not dumb you know? he's the leader of the dorm of mindfulness !! yes, he can be pretty naive (rich kid problems) and his kind attitude can be seem as a weakness in a place like NRC, but he's not dumb! also, I feel that his overly excited and friendly personality comes from a trauma of being poisoned and wanting to make people feel empathy for him and not want to try poisoning him again... could just be me tho. like, yes he's naturally kind, I don't think he's faking it at all! but no one can be so happy 100% of the time. surely there's a lot of emotions he suppresses in order to not paint a target on his back.

I literally have a whole post where I scream about his character design... it's so good, the many different elements don't clash with each other and create such a nice composition to look at... and a post analysing his personality too... where I also mainly screaming abt it...

sometimes the fandom bothers me when he's reduced as just some sadistic bastard that doesn't care about anyone's feelings and is cold and emotionless and a crime master like... 💀 babes he's a sophomore student that works in costumer service and likes to create terrariums on his free time... not saying that he isn't a bastard that could break your bones bc he is, but he's more than that too!

I THINK HE'S SO FUNNY. every time he appears he got me giggling at my phone, the way he says some of the most out of pocket things with a straight face... how his phrases are filled with fancy poetry no one else gets... he's a little bastard (affectionate)

I really like how his character was more flashed out in chap5! his relationship with Vil is so interesting, I love how they listen to each other and actually take in considerstion what they say, they can balance each other out. his appearence in events is also delightful, in the ghost bride event I KNOW he was having the time of his life being all romantic and stuff lol

still. I'm mad at him for being the one vote that made RSA win the VDC. I understand why he did it and I think it was an important lesson for Vil but. I'm still salty. he's going to the salad spinner for that.

tho I think the fandom takes the stuff he does and says way too out of porpotion at times? I've seen some discourse involving him but like. it's not that serious pls he was just in a silly goofy mood 😭 I do get criticizing his he-man haircut... Vil do something about it I beg of you

also he's some of my moots blorbo so he's kinda like my weirdo blorbo in law that I see at family events (my feed) every once in a while and I find it delightful

honestly the way he looks so serious and withdrawn but in reality he's just quiet and soft... how animals love him... how he loves his father above everything... how he's a capable knight... how he's sweet and gentle helping others... Silver <3

HIS FAMILY DYNAMIC WITH DIASOMNIA it's so cute... he acts like Sebek's older brother it's so funny seeing them bicker with each other... and how he respects and admires Malleus so much... don't get me started on his father and son relationship with Lilia it's literally the cutest

it's so sad how he's forgotten by the fandom like 😭 I know we don't have that much canon content of him yet but please appreciate him more 😭

and I'm REALLY excited for chap7 to bring more of him and (hopefully) expand on his backstory, praying everyday we'll get more Silver content soon 🙏 tho I'm preparing myself for the angst... if he's hurt in any way I WILL throw hands...
