I love the idea of a transformer being in relationship with a human, and just being so incredibly jealous of their car. Like they understand that they can't transport their human all the time and they need their independence. They just hate it. The idea of their human being in another vehicle feels tantamount to cheating.
Whenever they see their human's car, they are constantly side eyeing it. Comparing themselves to it. Thinking about how they're better in every way compared to this metal scrap heap. They are faster, stronger, better looking. Superior in every way.
Watching their human drive the car, thinking about how that should be them. They should be the one whose cab their human is sitting in. They should be the one whose steering wheel their human grips. Not the car.
This growing to the point where they consider straight up destroying the car. Smashing it into pieces and throwing it into a nearby river. Then when their human is in need of a car, they'll come to the rescue.
At some point they start ranting at the car about how much better they are.
Transformer: I'm better than you in every way. If you got destroyed, they will just replace you. Me? I'm never getting replaced. I'm irreplaceable. They love me.
Car: *is a normal car*
a history doomed to repeat itself; on the tragedy of human and cybertronian relationships — aristotle demands that a tragedy have a terrible end, which he calls a catastrophe. the happy end is not permitted.
