Kirishima for ask game?

one aspect about them i love: What ISN'T to love about that sweet young man? I think if I had to name ONE thing, it's just... his attitude. I've rewritten this about a dozen times by now because I just don't know how to get it out correctly. He struggles with self worth issues yet would trip over himself to help someone is his very shoes. He took a moment in his life where he felt so weak and turned it around. Used it as fuel forward into the future of becoming a better hero and person. (I think he was a terrified pre teen but you get what I'm saying in the context of the show) Even though he's down on himself and his quirk, he literally wants to use it to save people. Make them feel safe and protected. He's just so kind and sweet I adore him so much.

one aspect i wish more people understood about them: My dude is depressed. We see a glimpse of it in middle school and in the way he talks about himself/his quirk. Yes, he keeps trying. Yes, he says it with a smile on his face. Yes, he attempts to hide it between compliments of others/their quirks. But he's sad. I think what I've seen has done a good job of exploring that in fandom, but it's not something that can magically be fixed or looked over. Send this kid to THERAPY!

one (or more) headcanon(s) i have about this character: If he sees a classmate of his is sad, he says they have a 'bro-tein' deficiency. He would absolutely make a silly pun to make them smile and then offer to hang out. Be it just sitting with them, offering a listening ear, or anything else he felt in his power to do. He's a sweetie.

one character i love seeing them interact with: Oh man ONE? He and Bakugo warm my heart. Buddy looks at that gremlin kid and is like 'I cannot take your ass seriously at all, you're my bro now' and Bakugo just... rolls with it? I think their personalities line up really well in general, and then their quirks work well together, too! Red Riot cannonball when they become pro heroes or BUST.

one character i wish they would interact with/interact with more: AMAJIKI! I would LOVE to explore that relationship more my GOD. What good outgoing younger sibling and introverted older sibling energy. You just KNOW Kirishima is constantly talking up his upperclassman and Amajiki is wondering if he ate something small enough he could actually shrink. As Fat Gum watches on like a proud father. I also think it'd be interesting to see the advice Amajiki has to offer Kiri. He's one of the Big Three at UA, he's done a lot of stuff! I want to explore that more for SURE.

one (or more) headcanon(s) i have that involve them and one other character: I think it's universally accepted that Mina helps him with dying his hair. It's so simple yet such a good headcanon for them. Being able to take an hour or so once a month (give or take) to sit down, just the two of them, and catch up. Even if they just talk about surface level stuff, they're still strengthening their friendship! and I love that for them! Ochaco is a gym buddy. She was the only one who understood his room, I can totally see them getting along like that. Kind of the same as Mina; they just get together and hang out! He spots her, she spots him, and they talk! By graduation her squat max is at least 50 pounds more than Kiri's and he couldn't be prouder. Deku levels of knowledge about Crimson Riot. Go ahead, ask him anything. He knows, can site the source and show you the news clip if you want!

But "I'd Burn the City Down Just to Show You the Light" hasn't been written yet, but it's all plotted in my brain. I was listening to Fallout Boy, as I do, and that line just smacked me in the face.

It's gonna just be a two chapter little drabble about one half of EraserMic being kidnapped and the other finding them earlier on in their hero careers. Just a fun little romp for both parties.

We're shooting for canon compliance, but let's be real, it's gonna be a "squint and it's pretty compliant" moment from me again. I love operating in a vague area, timelines constrict me.

Anything for you, my dear friend!

1. Around the end of their second year, beginning of their third, when Aizawa started growing his hair longer; he complained about waking up with tangled hair. Hizashi suggested he put it back into a loose braid while he sleeps so it doesn't get tangled. He started doing it that night and continues to do so to this day.

2. (I've told you this one before but I love it) Hizashi takes on Jiro as an intern at the radio station during her second and third year. The reminder that she can be anything she wants along side being a hero is very important to her.

3. I genuinely don't know why, but I can't get rid of the headcanon that Aizawa watches old Iron Chef reruns whenever he's tired of tv (the news especially). He's seen all of them at least a dozen times each and he'll watch them a dozen more.

Hope you like Aizawa and/or Hizashi headcanons

1. Hizashi took a 12 year old Tenya to his first concert this is so important to me. I don't know why it's so important to me, it just very much is.

2. (hard of hearing Hizashi you will always be famous to us EraserMic fans)

When Hizashi can't sleep, Shouta hums for him so he can feel the vibrations in his chest/when he presses his face into his throat. Zashi finds it really relaxing and usually falls asleep soon after. Or at the very least, he's able to relax for a few hours.

3. Firmly in the camp of Aizawa has amazing long-distance vision. Talking about spotting a student halfway across campus with something they shouldn't have and calling them out on it. But someone puts a phone in his face to show him something, and he has to move it at least seven inches from his face to read it.
