Your gateway to endless inspiration
Stanley Pines may be stupid but he always had a knack for people, one way or another. It was all thanks to his dumb interest in them, he loved watching them and learning about them- wondering how their brains worked... His hyperfixation became quite useful now that he's out in the streets.
He remembers something a certain teacher said- it was something about brains, humans and pills... The teacher spoke about how people were handed a test pill that did really nothing but, just because the doctor said it'd help, it did help.
"The brain is powerful like that" he remembers their words "if it believes its sick, it will get sick. If it believes it gets better, it will-"
So what if...Stanley believed he'd get better? What if he just believed that he didn't have a missing kidney and it hurt like hell??
Funnily enough, the pain disappeared and suddenly Stanley was walking around like he wasn't bleeding out. He remembers stitching himself up, he remembers washing off the blood but he hadn't felt a thing and wasn't sure his hands were his own anymore...
(Or: How Stanley became so good at controlling his mindscape)
