I’m so happy to finally introduce the official fankids for my au, ‘20 years later’!

It’s been a long journey from January but I can now say that I have designs I am proud of :D!!

I am single handily giving the people Jade fan art 😂 This is not even what I wanted to post today but your daughter is too beautiful I could not resist @emthimofnight I am sorry 😭🤣

Why is Lotus hated by her people?

It’s because she was made guardian of the sol emeralds by Blaze instead of her brother! Lotus is an extremely weak and small girl who can barely stand without assistance while her brother is seemingly the perfect option for a position that important. Her people started to hate her for ‘stealing away’ Flare’s rightful title so she locked herself away in her library until she mets Star.

Introducing Flare’s twin sister, Lotus the Hedgehog!

Lotus was created by the sol emeralds a few moments after her brother due to the emeralds creating Flare with too much excess sol energy. She has less sol energy than intended and ended up physically weak, but with an overall excellent control of fire compared to her twin. Lotus is hated by her people, however, she’s the one working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that her citizens are happy.

Flare also got his shirt redesigned to match with his sister! He looks very serious here but that’s his appearance to his people. When he sees a strong girl he immediately bursts in flames, he can’t handle having crushes well🤣 ( The beautiful echidna belongs to my friend @emthimofnight, we decided their ship name is flade!)

(Mostly) official designs of my next gen kids!! It’s been a journey from January to February and I feel more confident in the main four’s designs :D

A quick synopsis on their dynamics: Flare views Esper as a little sister, Jade loves to tease Flare whenever she gets the chance, and everyone hates Star! (she is very annoying)

The next fankid up is Flare the cat, child of Blaze and Amy! He’s the proud prince of the Sol Empire but quite unconfident with his own pyrokinesis so he looks up to amy for her physical strength

This is basically how his “birth” went. blaze and amy were the first in their group to have any children and I hc that the sol emeralds like blaze more than the chaos emeralds like sonic so they’re more lenient when it comes to wishing.

Flare absolutely hates having to take off his head scarf since people love to pet him and will often simultaneously combust without control ( and yes I did seize the opportunity to draw @emthimofnight ‘s beautiful camellia 🙏)
