Your gateway to endless inspiration
I've always noticed how compared to other fandoms DBZ doesn't have nearly as many AU's
Now, of course they do have DBZ AR and the DB Multiverse comics. But I think the biggest difference is they aren't blogs and they don't call themselves an 'AU'.
My hypothesis on why this is, is probably the most accurate. Dragon ball has been around for years and has a big fanbase, but most of those fans are now adults instead of children and teens like Undertale's fans.
But with Dragon Ball Diama I think that this could bring a younger audience to DBZ. I would love this and think it would be really cool for people to use their imagination and creativity for something fun, but I fear the older fanbase will heavily clash with the younger ones.
What are your thoughts?
29.07.24 | i spend way too long thinking about the vast amounts of resources and infrastructure freeza must have had at his disposal and what might have happened to all of it after his death.
it's why i enjoy vegeta's anime-only scouring of the universe 'looking for goku.' Like, sure, Jan. i bet he was also taking apart and nicking whatever tech and supplies he could fit into that spaceship. which obviously was only a small dent in the overall amount of post-freeza detritus...
so i like imagining the various worlds that are now littered with abandoned bases, ships and scouters. i like thinking about who else might have picked through the remains of freeza's empire, about the once subjugated peoples and how they might reuse (or reject) the bits let behind.
@bliss-wily so remember how I bringed up Ava? I wanted to draw her and your OC hanging out a bit. I swear to absolute GOD I don't know her name, my brain is not working XD. (Ava doesn't really look... this messed up but hey, recovery from a near death experience here we go!)
