I think there are so many amazing bases you could draw in season 9 and this current season.
Grian's, Gem's, False's and Pearl's season 9 bases were iconic imo, and there's also the Decked Out castle. You could also go for the Post Office this season or Bdubs' frankly Ghibli style home, Keralis' vacation spot, or Joel's Japanese steampunk city.
These are such good ideas!! I'm gonna try and do one per season, maybe from season five onwards, so I have five artworks. I would love to do the decked out castle, I'll have to think over some of the other seasons. Although mumbo's base in season 7 was so so good.
I also did wonder if maybe I did five artworks of hermitcraft or maybe six/seven artworks of the life series. One representing each winner. Example:
- Grian/season 1: monopoly Mountain castle, sun motifs
-Scott/season 2: the cottage he and his allies based in, star motifs
-Pearl/season 3: her tower, moon motifs
-Martyn/season 4: The mean gills base (I cannot remember the name pls don't hate me), a mars motif? It'll be hard to include the planet in this one. But I can work it out.
-Scar/season 5: trader scars with the sun flower field, earth mofti
-Joel/season 6: Car
They won't be portraits but think of landscaping paintings. Like a mix of Claude Monet mixed with Van Gogh. It would be the same style for the hermitcraft artworks aswell.

Spoilers Hermit x Empire Did anyone else catch Scar saying “I would never shot my fav deputy I mean sheriff.” To Jimmy. Does this mean that Scar might try and take over Tumble Town and become sheriff? Or do you think their is going to be an election since I believe fwhip mention one before and what if Scar runs against Jimmy and makes Jimmy his deputy if he wins. Or it could have been slip of the tongue which can happen from time to time but what ever might happen I can’t wait to see my two favorite cowboys do during this crossover!

With a shaky breath, they take one short glance at the cup of tea that was safe before the person in front of them came into the office. “I’m sorry Scar, but Mumbo needs to be Mayor.” Grian one of Scar’s dear friends spoke with a hardened look with a bit of sadness attracted to it which the other didn’t understand. Scar shook his head not wanting to listen to what the other had to say. Scar didn’t want to give in to the feeling of pain that came with the betrayal. The scarred man knows that his friendship with Grian wasn’t that close compared with the other's closeness with the Redstone engineer Mumbo, but god does it still hurt tenfold. “Scar-” The avian was cut off by the chair scraping the floor as Scar stands abruptly with a tight smile. The mayor reaches out for the papers that Grian had placed on his desk to sign which were documents stating that Scar had handed over his Mayor ship to Mumbo. Which the brunette had refused when the other placed them on his desk. Scar grabs his ahold of his quill and wipes it of its black ink and as if the gods within the void were in his favor a wet cough rose up causing the scarred man to catch it in the palm of his hand. He quickly dips the quill in the crimson liquids and within a few seconds, the signature was printed onto the papers. “If... that's what you....want....” Picking up the papers with the hand that is not tainted with his blood he holds it out towards Grian who looks almost mortified but took the papers firmly making sure to not touch the signature written on the paper. Scar nods with a groan as the pain quickly spreads through his body. He wasn’t getting out of this, was he? I knew the pains of a regular poison potion and instant harming potion and those never felt permanent. “Can.......Can you get Cub.....I-I” Before Scar could finish his sentence his legs buckled under the weight causing him to scatter other papers and items off his desk as he fell onto his side with a groan at the pain that it caused. There was a shout but the scarred man wasn’t sure if it came from himself or the other in the room. He was pulled onto his back causing him to stare up at the ceiling of his office as the other was rapidly talking to him, but everything was too muffled for him to understand a word that is Grian saying to him. Grian said something and quickly made his way out of the office as Scar lay there as his vision started to slowly fade. Something soft rubs against his hand causing him to turn his head as best as he can to see Jellie rubbing her head on his hand that lays flat on the floor. A soft smile forms on his face thinking about how he was wondering where she has been since she wasn’t in the office when he walked in. His vision blurs as tears started to stream down his face happy that he gets to see Jellie one last time. “Jellie” He mutters with his last breath as the life in his eyes faded with the soft smile. When Jellie was done getting her rubs she walks up and tucks herself against his neck and with a soft breath she goes to sleep. (Wanted to add this because I feel some might be confused on why Scar called for Cub. Its because Scar knew he was going to die and he wanted Cub who is like a brother to him to be right beside him as he dies.)

I kinda think the song Owl in a cage/Gilded Jail, by Stolas from Helluva Boss fits Scar’s double life character.
Spoilers for Grian’s new Hermitcraft video. (Theory post)
So when AU Grumbot came through the rift I was thinking about the AU. Like all the possibilities which could include resistances to Mumbo being Mayor and what he might do with the shopping district. Of course I thought will maybe if we wanted to go with the similarities of a swap AU. Bdubs would be mother spore which would lead him to make Scar the ceo of the resistance which will later lead to Scar joining Mumbo like in the original season 7. (What I mean by that is in season 7 Grian being mother spore and making Mumbo ceo of it and then Mumbo left because of that and because of the door and stuff, so maybe it was the same with Scar, but maybe with terraforming or magic.) So that kind of was my thought process because I was thinking about this as a swap AU, But lets says that is not the case. What if the resistance did happen. Because I remember it happening as a joke/prank on Scar which then escalated. What if Grian was still the leader of the resistance since maybe he want to prank Mumbo and see his reaction which later escalated. What if Grumbot was upset at Grian for the resistance against Mumbo. Since they both would be fighting against each other and a child hates seeing their parents fight because they just want things to happy and safe for them. But the resistance makes Grumbot feel unsafe which could lead the Bot to plot against it to help Mumbo which leads to Grumbot being upset at Grian. Even after everything is resolved and the fighting is over. I wouldn’t be surprised if Grumbot was hesitant of Grian and what he might do since Grumbot just saw him lead a resistance and whats stopping Grian from doing that to Grumbot.
I really want Scar and Martyn to team up again in MCC or in the life series I love their friendship.
Can we talk about when Grian gave Scar sand and when Scar was like “Thank you.” with a little voice crack at the end and Grian going “Its okay.” Like I just want to mention this moment because its just awww to me.
But its also very funny how right after that clip is the whole I made cookies so you can give them to your secret soulmate.

Okay okay, So imagine that Grian was the one who die and they become yellow then Scar finds Grian and Bigb doing their secret soulmate thing and Scar dies due to a broken heart which makes them both red. And imagine in chat its GoodTimeWithScar Died to a Broken heart Grian Died
If Grian and Scar are truly red, I’m hopping that Grian was the first one to die so He has a 3 for 3 on taking Scars first life's. 3rd life - Creeper Last Life - Tricks Scar into giving him a life and then getting killed with it. Now Double life. I’m hoping, I need this. Give this man a 3 for 3 also the angst if so.
Scar not wanting a soulmate and sticking with animals kind of makes sense to me in a way. First during Last Life he was alone and when ever he made a friend/ had people hanging around him. All they wanted to do was use his stuff for their own gain. Then later leaving him there yearning for them to come back. Not only does this man have abandonment issue, but also has trust issue. And during Double Life Scar is in the same boat as Jimmy. On how if you have either of them as your soulmate you are bound not to last long in the game. He may not be a canary in the coal mine. But he is seen as something/someone that will get you killed. Which means Scar and Jimmy are rated low on soulmate survival to others. Which could lead the man to see himself as a burden and even have self esteem issues.
Which is way animals are the best living beings to Scar since they will not mock him about being accident prone and won’t leave him unless taken from him by another player. So I understand why Scar may find them more reliable and caring then the players.
I loved the watcher lore that Martyn did during last life and there could be a possibility that he’ll do it during Double life, but image if he didn’t do watcher lore, but did something with Scar.
Like image Martyn in the void waiting for the Watchers to talk to him or something, but instead of them its Scar who is talking to him. And of course Martyn would be confused on why Scar was the talking to him and I feel like Martyn would ask questions like “Are you a watcher?” “If not then what are you?” And Scar could either give him answers or answers beating around the bush, but are not technically lies, Scar could possibility mess around with Martyn until the other get upset since Martyn doesn’t know what's going on and all he wants is answers. And I also kinda want Landscaping your mind apart of it, like maybe towards the end. Like maybe Scar says something along the lines of “Now listen little listener, I have a story to share, Landscaping Your Mind Chapter Four.” And he’ll continue the chapter and image it slowly fades as Martyn starts to fall unconscious but not without trying to take in all of Chapter Four because maybe there is something more to that book. Now maybe the Landscaping your mind is a little scratch and I know this is not going to happen, but its just an interesting idea I thought about last night.
So this is more of a possibility. And it only works if Grian didn’t move the sugarcane. So you know how during Grian’s video Scar accidentally digged it up and Grian quickly patched it. And The hole for the pandas stayed that size for most of the video. Now Scar stayed on the server longer then anyone because he was finishing and moving the Jellies into their new home. And if Grian didn’t move the sugarcane. While digging and moving the Jellies there is a possibility that Scar saw and knows about the sugarcane. Just something I’ve been thinking about. But like I said its a possibility. Scar could have also missed the sugarcane by a block or two as he tried to get the Jellies out of the hole. But if he did see the sugarcane. I’m kinda hopping he took at least one for himself. Or takes one of them during the next recording if he decided not to do it while the session was over. Again, only possible if the sugarcane wasn’t moved and if Grian was off the server by then.
So during Grian’s Hermitcraft video he was talking about daring one of his neighbors, But what's so funny about this to me is the only one he can dare is Doc since Zed and Scar do not have their heads on a pillar at the Hermit dare area.
Which means, He’ll find this out when he gets the stick and releases this or he’ll try to trick them into signing up to the games and then dare them. But we’ll have to wait and see. [If you want to know whos Heads are on the area its. Jevin, Joe, Stress, Hypno, Impulse, False, Pearl, Keralis, Doc, Ren Gem, Iskall, Grian, and Xb]
DOUBLE LIFE SPOILERS!!!!
Guys! My mind is getting filled with ideas of angsty! OMG! Just Grian trying to win over Bigb. And Scar taking damage to freak out Grian or maybe its his way of trying to get his attention since Grian has his eyes on Bigb.
Maybe a Scar and Pearl team up aka the Breakheart duo? Who knows! My mind is racing with ideas omg. I might as well write some fics at this point because I just want to share the angst!
