So I was thinking about Oda reincarnation and how that could hurt Dazai but then I realized that there’s no way for Dazai to know who that new person was besides a gut feeling. But what if there was an ability? What if the ADA got a call from a frantic mother who says something about her child collapsing and not waking up, and some person appearing besides them. The ability itself brings back the past life in exchange for the current one, and I’m not sure if it was activated on purpose or on accident. But basically Dazai, Rampo, and Fukuzawa all realize they know this guy and Dazai rushes over hugging Oda and breaking down into desperate sobs.

The only problem is, their job is to bring back the child. And that would erase Oda all over again.

Worst part? Guess who would have to be the one to undo the ability?

I honestly can’t decide if I want Chuuya to have a peaceful job where he can relax and be happy (minus Dazai tormenting him daily) or if he should be a part of a rival killing company thingie

After watching the new miraculous movie, all I can think of is how they remind me of Soukoku. The only thing is, I feel like their personalities and powers would swap since Chuuya has corruption which is like destruction while Dazai is the planner of the two most of the time.

So now I’m imagining Miraculous of Destruction Chuuya and Creation Dazai except with the personalities swapped so Dazai is the more flirty one like Cat Noir

BSD post canon AU where robots and androids take over and enslave the human race

They are made of the ability proof metal that mersault has so even ability users stand no chance against them

Chuuya is caught protecting others (Dazai?) and spends a while in captivity before being bought by a mystery client

Turns out it’s Adam who wants to help

Maybe Dazai is a target for the robots bc he’s smart or bc of his ability

Chuuya and Adam vs robots and the survivors who attack Adam on sight

I love animal transformation AUs and I wanted to make one for SKK, but I realized the part of the trope that I usually like is when one goes missing and the other unknowingly rescues them off the streets and cares for them. Meanwhile they’re stressed searching for the other one who goes missing around that time while the animal one is trying in increasingly hilarious ways to tell them that it’s them and they’re an animal.

I wanted to do this for SKK, but I realized that with their bond, they’d know automatically that it was the other one. (Think about the hide and seek wan chapter with the tanuki)

So instead I propose that Atsushi or Kunikida finds catzai and takes him in not knowing it’s him and finally they ask Chuuya for help like that wan chapter where Dazai “dies” and he instantly knows and starts arguing with a cat

Then he takes Dazai back and cares for him like usual but knows that it’s him and they both use the cat thing as an excuse for physical contact and cuddling

I have an idea for a comic but I wanted to share it in case I don’t have time to make it.

It’s a Chuuya vs Fukichi fight where Chuuya attacks and he couldn’t dodge a strike from the sword fast enough, so it gets caught in his shoulder. This way though, Fukichi can’t use it so Chuuya is able to beat it.

Imagine, after crushing Fukichi’s skull with his powers, the sword falls and he collapses, staring at the sky as it goes blurry.

Dazai shows up, and he stares down at Chuuya with the most worried expression

This ends with the shoulder being too big of an injury and Chuuya ends up losing that arm completely. I was considering a different injury, like he loses the opposite eye that Dazai always covered in his mafia days as he barely dodges a strike that would have beheaded him.

The two of them get split up somehow and go down very different paths. Should shin become a super villain in this one?

Bit by spider, Oda finds them (Aku tries to steal from him) which leads to typical mentor figure stuff before Oda dies

Dazai and Chuuya are two of the main villains (Cuz Beast) in this one which makes things very awkward for Aku when multiverse stuff starts happening

Okay so I rewatched the first Divergent movie with my little sister because she needs to understand my middle school experience and I had an idea.

Of course my BSD brainrot kicked in and I tried searching for an AU but every time I searched something like “divergent au bsd” it would go canon divergent stuff.

But imagine Chuuya as someone in Dauntless and Dazai joining and immediately falling head over heels for him. He was originally from Erudite or however you spell the smart one and the newfound freedom is amazing for him.

Idk if I’ll ever expand upon it or not but if anyone knows of any divergent AUs for bsd id forever be grateful!

Osamu Dazai Reference

Past and Details below (some things may change)

This Dazai is the only exception to the multiversal Dazai rule

Parents died (Double suicide? Accident? Killed to cover something up?) and Dazai left, roaming the streets trying to find a painless end

Mori finds Dazai and saves him from a suicide attempt just like in canon

Dazai starts helping Mori in his villainous schemes (yes he's a supervillain in this one and like all villains he has some big company thing)

Maybe he actually gets a villain persona at this point with cool tech and stuff?

Not sure when he gets the spider bite but here feels like a good spot maybe kinda sorta

Taken in by Oda who is the city's hero currently. Dazai asks why he does that even with nothing in return and Oda says the great power great responsibility thing and says that he finds meaning in his life from it.

Mori causes Oda's death

Dazai figures this out and takes down Mori's entire empire of villains and takes the Spider-Man role

In the final fight with Mori, Dazai loses sight in his right eye (how did that end up opposite of canon?)

Chuuya Nakahara Reference

Past and Details Below!!! (Not all details are cemented so things might change?)

Parents die in an accident and kid Chuuya is in hospital 

       Decide whether stolen by an evil lab thing and proclaimed dead or if he escapes (if he runs away he’s older if lab route he’s younger) 

   Lab route: stolen by a lab that specializes in villain tech and making superhuman powers by testing on kids 

   Chuuya escapes and accidentally is bit by another test subject, the spider 

   [If not lab route continue here]

   Chuuya escapes and is picked up by the Sheep. He’s their thief and though he mostly hides his powers they do use him for his strengths 

   Chuuya is caught during a robbery and the sheep leave him behind 

   Murase takes Chuuya in and tries to convince him to do good. Chuuya says he’s full of shit 

   Supervillain Verlaine shows up and kills Murase. Chuuya remembers his words and becomes Spider-Man

   Chuuya is taken in by a group of heroes/vigilantes called The Flags who promise to give him a home and show him the ropes 

   They die from Verlaine as well (sorry Chuuya) 

   Chuuya defeats Verlaine and cements his role as the hero of his city 

   Decides to keep his distance from everyone because of previous losses 

   Meets a cute boy in a cafe and has a short conversation where they just click. They exchange numbers and Chuuya debates if he should make an exception to his rule 

   Before he can ever meet up with that cute boy again, he dies

       Decide if it should be a villain and Chuuya thinks it’s his fault, or if it’s something unavoidable like an undetected illness 

       Or maybe it’s a multiverses rule that this person dies??? Hmmmmm wonder who that can be???

Okay so for the Spiderverse AU im working on i decided to change the canon events every Spidey goes through.

- New Canon: Lose parents and spend time on streets, become some kind of criminal temporarily, whether by accident or not (can vary from thief to full scale villain), taken in by mentor figure who tries to turn them to good side and dies, they become Spider-Man at that point

- Rules for every universe: Oda always dies, usually by being a mentor to someone//Dazai always dies and/or becomes a villain (except for ONE)

- All the spideys have a life that is full of loss following that point and most have some kind of permanent injury that fucked them up for a bit that they had to overcome

- There’s less danger in traveling the multiverse bc I just want them to be buddies when I’m not tormenting them

WAIT

I’ve always wanted to draw a Spider-Man kiss for SKK but I couldn’t because Dazai would nullify Chuuya’s ability

BUT I’ve been planning a Spiderverse AU for BSD and there’s plenty of SKK so it would work!!! :D

Honestly at first I was just thinking of cute octopi and somehow made a connection to Dazai bc both are cute then I realized that octopi are super smart and escape artists and I got really really excited 😅

And it was originally going to be all of them as tiny adorable sea creatures but then I realized that I would feel the urge to make Dazai a fish, more specifically a mackerel, so I went with merfolk so Chuuya could hold a tiny adorable octopus Dazai

AU where Dazai is an octopus merperson that can shrink to a tiny boi

Chuuya is a marine biologist/aquatic veterinarian who finds an injured tiny octopus and heals him then keeps him around until he’s all better

Dazai can’t shift back until he’s healed bc it takes energy or something

Either Chuuya releases him and he comes back in full mer form or a human form or he shifts back while in captivity and is just as clingy and affectionate as usual confusing the hell out of Chuuya and his coworkers
