being on the faction meant that hayley held intel others didn't, so while some took their time and enjoyed the night, the hybrid was going to do her best to stay on guard. keep an eye out for any suspicious moves that the killer would be planning to make with everyone boozed up. refusing to take any premade beverages, she made her way to the bar watching as the person made the drink step by step. she'd been to a lavish party only for it to end in disaster, this wasn't anything new to the woman. with her children in attendance and others she cared for, hayley decided to stay alert.

luckily for her, a drink didn't affect her the same way it did others, she could drink it now and be sober in a few minutes. so she indulged herself in a fruity cocktail, while taking an eye of each exit. getting ready with her twin put the siphoner in a cheery mood, thanks to the mask she wouldn't need to explain, how the once sad josie was now all smiles. for three years, people would often describe her as a girl with a frown. her mouth always turned the wrong way. tonight, would be different, she'd allow herself to take in the excitement of elegance and music. after savoring a cosmopolitan, she made her way onto the dance floor. doing her best to take in the way it felt to actually let happiness in.

getting a little too lost in the sounds, she managed to bump into someone else. taking a step back, she tilted her head with a soft smile. "sorry, i forgot where i was for a moment."

the murders made everyone panic and as of right now, gabbi didn't have many suspects, still trying to scope out who would have the motive to do such things. walking into the bar, the mask gave her a confidence boost, but it also made her job harder. taking a glass of champagne that was being offered on a tray, she took a deep breath and began people watching.
