AU in which Mic goes mute after Season 2.

I had some thoughts with the prompt in question and meanwhile it is not a fic, this is what came to my mind:

After Microphone gets to Hotel OJ, she starts repressing her most harmful thoughts and feelings, and how much Taco has hurt her in the end, along with her self steem issues. This leads her to become more and more isolated, since she takes distance from the other residents, even though she befriended most of them in the end and was doing good in theory.

However, she wasn't. At one point, Mic has been repressing her feelings for so long, that she's unable to communicate at all. After losing her gain, she lost her sense of self. Sadly, everyone has realized this way too late, and Microphone gave up in the end. The once loud, whimsy spark was now the sad and silent remainings of a flame that took care of others a long time ago. She is unable to talk after everything. It even seems like she had forgotten how'd to do so. She sees no point in even trying anymore.

She feels like a mess.

But her friends aren't giving up easily on her.

Hopefully... She manages to at least write something down, someday.

It took a bit buuut its here!! Yay!!

Unfortunately adding a certain character to this chapter changes my entire story outline so I had to spend time fixing that. Its fixed now though so. Hurray!!

Going back to one of the previous POVs, buut if we hit 50 kudos I'll be doing a special in character thing on tumblr because I can.

Also I've been integrating other shows into this au, but they won't be showcased in this fic. Just references at most. Down the line I may make short series expanding on them though :p

Paintbrush is inspired by a brown falcon! Nothing particularly big or grand, but I find them neat! Plus a raptor really just fit them i think.

I'll hopefully have their full reference out at some point? I'm just figuring out some things about it still (plus. Spoilers for future things. Lightbulb's is already done and more are in the making)

PLUS. Brown falcon are in the group called firehawks, which are birds who use wildfires and the like to grab things like a burning stick and purposefully start fires. They do this to fish out any prey so they can hunt.

Though I based Paintbrush on a brown falcon, thats not the actual species they're categorized by. It's probably pretty easy to guess it with the information given tbh but I'll keep it a secret for a bit longer for funsies. Thanks for the question!!
