I hate “pop” country ...but I will always stop and sing George (Jones and/or Strait), Garth 😋, Waylon, Hank Sr. & Jr., Merle, or any of the other classic country artists. If it’s before the turn of this century, I like it...and I will never sing “Before He Cheats”. That was popular when my relationship went to shit because he cheated, and I hate it 😠😡🤬😤

Everyone may *think* they hate country music, but when Jolene, Before He Cheats, Take Me Home Country Roads, or Life is a Highway comes on, everyone is suddenly a liar.

I swear by this!! Always keep your standards high. Don't lower your standards to match someone else's. No matter how educated,talented,rich or cool they believe they are; nothing compares to life education. You will come across people who decide to lower their standards just to fit-in. Don't become that. Don't stay in that company. Don't be accepting or tolerant of that. Elevate, hold on to your integrity. Keep your morals and your values high. Acceptance of prevailing standards often means we have no standards of our own. And remember, with chickens you are going to cluck but with eagles you are going to fly. #justsaying #standards
