Around two years ago I stumbled right into my beyblade hyperfocus and this is one of the first sketches I did then. I was reading Omniscient, a (very good) fanfiction by @itsbeen20years . I don‘t know how accurate it is to a specific scene, so I wouldn‘t call it a fanart, but the story definitely inspired me to draw beyblade / YuKa related stuff. I still like the sketch, so may it be free now. Why am I so shy with showing my art ahh

Had a lot of fun with the coloring. I keep swapping art styles, but not sticking to one style makes me feel free art wise at least :>

Felt like drawing these two again after an amazing con weekend. I'm still struggling with drawing digital. This was supposed to be a quick doodle but I endet up trying to do outlines the whole evening so it is this weird in between stage now...anywayyyys
Getting merch of these two is so difficult rn that I decided to make my own (8 sorry not sorry
I used the original colors of their official art, they look too flashy and saturated for my usual palettes xD

On Kais 18th birthday, king Susumu summoned his loyal Viking warriors and promised them the princes hand in marriage to the one Viking that would win the tournament and pledge his loyalty to him and his kingdom. The winner would become Jarl and gain many ships and land.

My friends Marco and Auroris as much as the streamer OhCupJoe convinced me to get Aseprite. So I bought it and I was a little uncreative so I had to draw my favorite Character of all time. Kai!

Yuriy coughed; blood splattered the palm pf his hand along with a single petal of cherry blossom flower. He sighed. "For the love of-" grumbling under his breath, he fished his phone out of his pocket and dialed a familiar number. It rang once, twice, then-
"What do you want?"
Yuriy pinched the bridge of his nose, the itching in his throat souring his mood even further. "I'm feeling insecure again. Tell me you love me."
There is a significantly long pause, making Yuriy glare at his phone. "I'm waiting asshole."
Kai sigh was audible. "I love you. We both know I love you. Please don't die before I get back from my business trip."
And just like that the pain was gone. Patting his chest in satisfaction, Yuriy nodded to himself. "Whatever. I'm gonna go now. Good luck with that meeting thing." Then he turned off the phone before Kai could reply and went back to making dinner. The team was coming back home any minute now after all, and he really did not want to deal with a starving Boris without chicken wings to fend him off.
