An Icy Christmas
Authors Note: Merry Christmas, your gift from me is a Christmas Pixane Oneshot. It's snowing in Ninjago, lotta fun at Christmas, Wahhh I wished it snowed at my but it doesn't. Instead, it is summer, yep for me I have an Aussie Christmas, I live in Australia, I wished it snowed on Christmas. But hope you enjoy ya Christmas day! Season Greeting from Sassy Ninja 🎄😊.

Four days till Christmas Day
All the ninjas including Pixal woke up.
Pixal and Zane went to get the Christmas things when everyone was waiting for them to return. They saw Pixal bringing in their Christmas tree, and Zane behind her bringing a stack of boxes.
As he put them down, he helped Pixal put the tree up, everyone else helped put up decorations around the monetary.
When Pixal and Zane finished putting up the tree and decorating it, they saw all the ninjas finished too.
Later Nya placed her big speaker in the lounge room and began to stream so Christmas song.
Pixal decided to call Skylor if she could come and join them to celebrate Christmas (upcoming Kailor), Lloyd asked her if he can go to the never realm and asked Akita to join them too.
She told him to let the others know about going to the never realm,
When he went he got home after a few hours.
He introduced Akita to them,
"This is Akita, she hasn't visited Ninjago so this is her first time," he told them.
Pixal POV
Some reason this morning because there were five days only left to go until Christmas day,
All of us woke quite early just to get ready.
Lloyd just arrived from the never realm with Akita,
She looks nice, she was excited to come and celebrate Christmas.
Later Skylor blurted through the door which made me jump,
Kai went over and gave her a giant hug.
"Ohh, who's this?" She asked me as she pointed to Akita,
"That's Akita, it's her first time at Ninjago from the never realm," I told her.
"Well, we got a new girl for our girl gang," she told us as she plopped down next to Akita.
"It's nice to have friends around," Akita said,
We all began to tell her about the monetary and what missions we went on.
Later Akita and Skylor had to share a room for the night, they were fine with it.
Three Days till Christmas Day
This morning everyone went to the supermarket to get things for the big dinner we would be having on Christmas Eve.
We are also getting presents for our Kris Kringle we'll be having on Christmas Day,
The whole day was so busy,
I did cooking with Zane.
For some reason, I could see Zane staring at me when I was helping him cook.
When I turned and looked at him he turns his head back on to what he was doing.
We managed to do one-quarter of the feast we will be having on Christmas day, after we were done we stored the food in the fridge.
When we went to the lounge room, we saw everyone who came back from the shops sleeping.
We both decided to do the rest of the decorations outside the monastery, after that we made dinner.
Surprisingly everyone blurted into the room, they may have thought the dinner might be ready.
"Is dinner ready?" Lloyd asked us,
"You just in time," Zane told him.
"Yay!" Everyone cheered, normally everyone loved Zane's cooking.
When we served dinner everyone snarfed down their dinner, for some reason I ate so slow.
When I finished eating I realized that nearly everyone has left the dinner table, the only person who was with me was Zane.
I grabbed my plate and Zane said that he will do the night chores, I decided to wait for him.
But it was taking so long for him to do all that, I waited a whole hour, but he still didn't come out from the kitchen.
Hell, I was tired that I fell asleep on the couch, although it was getting cold, I began to shiver.
Zane POV
I was just doing the night chores in the kitchen, it took me a long time than normal.
Maybe because of how me and Pixal did dinner plus did some of the festival food for Christmas Day.
When I was finished I went to the lounge room to watch something on the TV, I normally did this when I didn't feel like going to sleep.
But when I went to the lounge room I saw Pixal asleep on the couch, she was also shivering a lot.
She must be cold I thought,
I cuddled her, her shivers stopped.
I ended up falling asleep with her on the couch.
Two Days until Christmas Day
This morning I woke up to find Pixal gone, I also felt a fluffy blanket over me.
I stretched myself and got off the couch, I went to the kitchen counter and found Pixal, Nya, Jay and Lloyd there.
Pixal and Nya were on the high chairs near the kitchen counter (pls don't think High chairs are the ones for babies, I just don't know how to say those chairs that are tall and you can make it go down and up. They also are at the kitchen counter, so yeah I can't say what they are).
Lloyd and Jay were making pancakes, they weren't bad at making them, I joined with Pixal and Nya.
"You slept in," Pixal said giggling,
"Uh, yeh," I said kind of blushing.
My eyes then went over to Jay who was going to flip over the pancake, I saw something on the handle of the pan.
That's when I realized the time yesterday Lloyd accidentally broke the handle off the pan and I decided to put some glue on it hoping it would stick.
"Uh, Jay doesn't use that it's....." I was going to finish my sentence when he was going to flip the pancake over.
Just then the handle fell off and we all heard a pop noise from the pan, the other part of the pan which contained the pancake fell on the floor with a Bang!
"Broken" I finished,
Nya began laughing,
"Well at least that didn't hit your foot," Pixal said to Jay.
"Yeh, it doesn't matter that was the last one and there was less pancake mix on it," he said.
Lloyd then brought a plate out from near the stove, a tall stack of pancakes showed,
He divided them up and placed them on plates.
Later he called out everyone for breakfast,
We all grabbed syrup, butter and other sweet stuff for our pancakes.
I saw Nya have hers with butter, syrup and some marshmallows,
Kai having his with Nutella (Nutella is a delicious chocolate spread, you got to try it),
Lloyd was having his with ice cream and chocolate sauce,
Akita was having hers with butter and syrup,
Cole was having his with Nutella and chocolate chips,
Skylor was having hers with, ice-cream and Nutella,
Pixal was having hers with just syrup,
Jay was having his with........ (#here it comes) Lotta syrup, chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, ice cream, marshmallows, candy and big dollops of Nutella.
And I had mine with butter and syrup,
During the day, Jay might have regretted having so much sugar by the fact he had a three-hour sugar rush with also a sugar crash.
"ooh, my stomach" he groaned as he clutched himself,
"Sweetie, you shouldn't have had that much sugar, that was too much," Nya said cuddling him. (that reminds me of how I was making a gingerbread house at school and we used lollies for decorations and I was half putting the house together, half eating all the lollies and I had a sugar rush and crash during the whole school day)
Me and Pixal managed to get about half of the festival dinner done for Christmas Day.
Later during the night after dinner, I spotted Kai and Skylor hanging up mistletoe around the monetary.
Is it just me or am I just staring at it for no reason,
"Well looks like the whole place would be full of them tomorrow," Pixal said as I turned to see her on the couch with me.
"Yeh, there gonna be lots of kisses wouldn't it," I said, she slightly blushed at what I said.
"I'm pretty sure tomorrow Jay might get the celebration horn at 5 am and wake us up," she told me.
"Yeh that is quite accurate," I told her, then my eyes travelled to the window, it was snowing.
"What is it?" Pixal asked me and then turned her head to see what I was looking at.
"It's snowing," I said to her,
"yeh," she said,
All of sudden, Pixal curled up on me like a kitten and pulled herself closer to me.
I immediately blushed a dark blue, she gently grabbed my hand.
Her hand felt warm and soft, I just pulled her closer to me.
She just looked up at me with a soft smile, I smiled back.
After a while, it was getting late so I got off the couch and went to bed and Pixal decided to do the night chores.
Christmas Eve
Pixal POV
As expected Jay, this morning got his horn and yelled to wake up,
"WAKE UP, IT'S CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!!" He yelled through our doors.
What was so annoying was that he also banged on the doors like crazy
That's when I heard Kai in the hallway yelling so loud at Jay to "Shut The Hell Up"
When I went to the kitchen I saw the time on the shelf, it was 5 am.
During the morning we streamed Christmas songs and some of my friends including my sister Nya sang along.
Me and Zane did all the festival food for tomorrow which was Christmas Day.
I went over to Borg Industries to go and see my father Cyrus Borg,
When I went to the floor he is normally in which was level 100.
When the doors of the elevator opened I gasped, the whole room was filled with lights, tinsel, small baubles and on the corner there was a big Christmas tree which was full of presents underneath it.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" Cyrus said,
"Yeah, it is," I said as I walked up to him.
He wheeled over to the presents underneath the tree, he grabbed some of them and checked the tags before handing them to me.
"This is for you and the ninjas," he said
"Thank you," I said as I put the presents down and ducked my hand down one of my pockets in my jacket.
"That's yours," I said as I pulled out a small present and gave it to him,
"Thank you," he said as he pulled me into a hug.
It's very nice to have a father I thought,
When we pulled away I took the presents my father gave me and walked to the monastery.
I placed the presents under the tree,
Some of the presents had a sticker on the top saying "Don't open til Xmas".
I still don't know why some people use the name Xmas instead of Christmas (me neither).
During the evening it began to snow again, I never seen it snowing for a while.
But it's hard to live when it is cold, that is why all of us wear a lot of layers of clothes including me and Zane.
During the night everyone played more Christmas songs, which made some couples dance except for me I don't know how to dance.
The whole time I sat on the couch with a fluffy blanket around me,
I looked out the window, it was still snowing,
Without anyone knowing I pulled on my coat and went outside.
I went outside the monetary and sat down on the bench behind the small tree as I looked up at the sky watching the snowfall,
For some reason when I sat here it reminded me of how I and Zane got our photo taken here.
I smiled at the memory,
Suddenly I felt an arm around me, this made me jump for a second.
I looked and saw Zane with me also looking at the sky seeing the snow,
I lean on his shoulder with my head.
I could feel a cold breeze brush against my metal skin which made me shiver,
That's when Zane took off the scarf he was wearing and wrapped it around me.
I looked up and smiled at him, he smiled back,
He gently took my hand and pressed it to his chest.
I pulled myself closer to him,
My eyes gently closed as I could feel his warmth against mine.
Zane POV
I could feel some weight on my shoulder,
When I looked down I saw Pixal asleep.
I shook her a bit to wake her up but she wouldn't,
I signed and carried her bridal style and took her inside to her room.
I decided to do the night chores tonight after the dancing party which took up until midnight,
This mainly made everyone tired after.
Christmas Day
In the morning I woke up and made breakfast,
Everyone began to come from the kitchen door at the same time at 7 am.
I noticed that Pixal wasn't with them,
"Where's Pixal?" I asked them.
"She might have slept in," Nya said,
I nodded and served them breakfast.
Later when the others were opening their presents I walked fast to Pixal's room.
I knocked on her door a few times, she didn't answer.
When I opened the door she was still asleep on her bed,
I walked to her and kneeled to see her face on the pillow.
I placed my hand on her cheek, she seemed to sink into it.
I began to think of a way to wake her up making her not annoyed.
Pixal POV
I still remembered how I fell asleep on Zane's shoulder,
Just for a second, I was sleeping peacefully, when, something was tickling my head and cheeks.
I began giggling as I woke up, I held up a hand to whoever was making my head and cheeks ticklish.
I opened my eyes to see Zane close to me,
"Good morning Pix," he said to me.
Suddenly he pulled me into a hug and kissed me on my head,
"And Merry Christmas to you," he said as he stared into my green emerald orbs.
"Same to you," I said,
I got up and wrapped the covers around me from how cold the room was.
Zane gave me a cuddle which made me warm,
Then Zane left the room for me to change into my comfy warm clothes.
When I went to the lounge room which had the Christmas tree, there were lots of presents under the tree.
I walked over to the others who were opening their presents, I checked the present that had my name on it and opened it.
There was a purple cloak inside, immediately tried it on it was very comfy and warm.
After we all opened our presents, we all headed out to the snow.
I sat on the bench, I was thinking of what I can do,
I saw Nya, Skylor and Akita going up a hill and playing with their sledge.
I saw Kai and Cole were making a snowman,
"Pixal, why don't you come and join us" Nya called out to me.
I smiled and joined them up the hill, as we all sat on the sledge.
Skylor began pushing the sledge down the hill as she joined in with us.
We all began to squeal as we all raced down the hill,
Although there was something in the way.
It was Jay, Cole, Zane, Kai and Lloyd, uh oh.
Then as we reached them, they saw us and huddled up screaming,
Then we crashed into them.
We were all on the snow,
"wow" Nya said,
"Let's..." Skylor said,
"....Do it...." Akita,
"Again," I said as I joined in their conversation.
I and my friend later went to get some hot chocolate,
We kept on talking in the monetary.
Zane POV
I was talking to my brothers with hot chocolate in the lounge room,
"are you going to do it now?" Jay suddenly asked me.
"No, not now," I said, what Jay was talking about was that I have got something to give Pixal but I need to wait for the right time.
Later we had Kris Kringle,
We had numbers on our presents,
I got number 5 and I got a tracking device that helps me to contact other ninjas.
After we had Kris Kringle, I went with Pixal to the kitchen to help me out with placing the festival food on the table.
After we were finished setting the table up, everyone came in and grabbed plates to serve themselves food.
They must have smelled the food I thought,
Me and Pixal went last to serve ourselves food.
After dinner, Pixal asked me if we could talk in her bedroom, which she wanted to talk to in private.
When I finished washing the dishes I headed to her room with her,
We both sat on her bed.
"I got something for you," she told me,
"Ok," I said, she pulled out a box with an icy blue bow on the top.
"Thank you Pix" I smiled, when I opened the box, I saw a fluffy scarf.
When I pulled it out and on the edges, it had icy blue and purple writing on it,
I peeked down at the words, then I realized it was words we said nicely to each other.
The purple ones were spoken by Pixal and the blue ones were from me,
I looked at Pixal, who was smiling at me.
"I love it," I said as I pulled her into a hug,
"Did you make this?" I asked her.
"Yeah, my dad taught me," she told me,
"I got something too," I said as I pulled out a wrapped box from my pocket.
She gently took it from my hands and opened it and smiled,
"Oh Zane I love it,"she said as she pulled me into a hug.
We stayed like that for a while,
"Come on, let's go and see the others," I told her.
She nodded and we both headed to the lounge room where everyone was.
We stopped in the entrance in the lounge room,
"Where were you two?" Kai asked us. We both blushed slightly,
"Don't think about it we were just talking about something ok?" I said not to make Kai tease us.
"Pixal why don't you come over and sit with us," Nya said as she made room.
Pixal was about to go to them when someone said,
"Hey, your missing something," Skylor said.
"What," she asked, then Skylor pointed at something above her.
I looked up too, it was Mistletoe, she looked at me blushing a dark purple along with me blushing a dark blue.
She walked up to me and I cupped her face looking deeply into her eyes,
She smiled softly at me, just as our lips connected, I couldn't help but smile.
We heard the others cheering and whistling, as we pulled away we began giggling softly while our heads were touching.

Okay so, I decided I’m going to write this out as a fan season. It’s gonna take a while but my head is overflowing with ideas and I just can’t not. The first episode probably won’t be done for a few weeks but here’s a small snip of a scene just to show you how chaotic this thing’s gonna be:
“Turn it off Jay!!” Kai yelled while keeping his distance like everyone else.
“I CAaAaAaN’T. IT’S OUT OF MY HANDS.” Jay yells while flailing his arms around uncontrollably.
Cole cuffs his hands around his mouth before yelling “Oh but Jay it is your hands.” mockingly with a bit of a smirk.
“No they aren’t! They’re your hands! Take them back!” And with that Jay throws his arms toward Cole, completely catapulting Jay at him. Cole jumps out of the way and Jay’s hands go directly through the wall of a nearby building. Before he could try to remove them, Lloyd rests his still frostbit hands on Jay’s shoulder and arm.
“Maybe just stop for a minute, take a deep breath, and try to turn it off.” Lloyd says calmly with concern in his voice. Jay closes his eyes and over exaggeratingly breaths in, and then slowly breaths out. As he breaths out, the orange glow from his hands begins to fade. The ninja collectively sighed in relief.
Idk if this is already a Ninjago fan season idea or what- but you cannot tell me that a season where all of the Ninja’s elements somehow get mixed up like that Tinker Bell and the pirate fairy movie would not be entertaining. Just like- fricking imagine Kai, who legit can’t swim, trying to work with water. Or Jay trying to work with earth, idk you get the point. And they have to go through the entire season trying to figure out how to use those elements all while trying to defeat a villain. Oh and the arguments that would happen while the original holder of that element is trying to teach the ninja stuck with their element how to use it and it’s just not working out. Oh my word that would be priceless-
This is so fricking good I had to share. My little brother and I came up with the idea for this drawing, but as a realistic artist I’ve never been the best at cartoon drawings, so I made a quick sketch of what I wanted and explained the idea and sent it to a server in hopes of a finding someone to commission, and instead someone did it for free. @Micahdoesthings on tiktok took my idea and drew this in a single day, and it could not be more perfect. He does really good Ninjago cosplays on tiktok so you should definetely check him out, but for now just appreciate his fricking amazing artistic skills

I saw @jacked-anime-lloyd 's post about Ninjago flora, and I draw this "Ice Berries", but in the half way of this my white pen said "nope" and now we have this. But I think it turned out better than it could be😅

I was thinking about pirate!au for ninjago, and...
Imagine –
we have 2 the most dangerous pirate ships in the seven seas, called "Phoenix" and "Raiju". And there is two captans, well you can know them. It's obviously Kai and Jay, and they are rivals. Well, you know, – from "hate" to "love" scenario ;).
And of course we have Zane and Cole here. Zane is Jay's right hand man and Cole is Kai's right hand man. And they are basically baby-sitting this two "cool" captain-dorks.
And look, in some kind of way, Zane and Cole get trapped in somewhere together. And they where like "oh, this guy again. I think I need to hate him?? I will just sit here in silence" and after a couple of hours(days, maybe??) of sitting there they will find a lot in common. Like baby-sitting this two idiots and getting their asses out of somewhere, and they will be like "hmm, I kinda like this guy, even if I have to hate him". And after this they would meet much more often than it should be🤔. And after this "accidents" they would be meeting in the purposes, for "just to hang out with someone who can understand me". And then it will grow into something more intimate. Running somewhere together, cuddles, making up more and more things just to see each other often. And first kiss of course. Well, everything is like it should be.
And there goes our "rivals", that "hate" each other. They just being two sassy bastards that are having nice time mocking of each other. But deep inside, they have feelings for each other that they can't understand. And they becaming more and more furious about it. Like "That sh*t hurts! What the hell is this?! Why I'm so flustered around this idiot!? F*ck it!". And sometimes they will just sit alone, and secretly thinking about each other, and they will be sad because of...something? And they will hate each other even more because of this mixed feelings. And then there would be some "moment", when thy will learn about love between their right hand men, at would be like "you betrayed me!" and will have more hate for the other. And after all of this, this two captain-dorks will find out that they actually in love with each other(not without some help from their friends, a lot of help actually. They're just emotional llove-stuck idiots) and would be like "oh". And then goes kissing, cuddling, -bitting-, hugging, crying their souls out for each other at night, and a lot of other cute things💕

Some random headcanons that I think are pretty popular yet are still rad
Lloyd could’ve been really tall because of his Oni blood but due to not being able to eat much food with nutritional value while at Darkleys and while he was homeless AND because of his unnatnatural growth spurt Lloyd never reached his true potential, height wise.
Due to Cliff Gordon’s uhhhh ‘womanizer’ demeanor Jay has tons of half siblings! Only a few of them know about each other but they all look identical due to the curly hair and freckles that all of them posses
Kai has a beauty mark opposite to Nya’s and Nya has a scar opposite to Kai, making them sorta mirrors of each other
Continuing with Kai and Nya being mirrors of each other, Jay and Cole used to confuse them for each other, mostly in the morning due to Nya’s insane bed head and Kai’s flat hair
After becoming a human again one of Cole’s eyes turn green to match his scar
Cole lowkey hates wearing black outside of his ninja suit. The color just reminds him too much of sadness and death so he much prefers wearing colors like burnt orange, deep green, royal purple, and mahogany
Zane is the bug killer in the house. That’s not a headcanon though, that’s a fact
Zane really likes the color pink, however due to the other’s toxic masculinity in early seasons he pretended to hate the color too
Lloyd loves having plants in his room, he just loves taking care of them all. Also he gives them names

Istg, season 5 feels like the writers realized the fandom was getting sick of lloyd getting the majority of the screentime and decided to have morro take him out of the picture but also give him more trauma because that's definitely mandatory.

How did lloyd and hellspawn did on the time skip after season (and by that i mean how bad)
For a long time—and especially during those first few weeks before being reunited with Kai, Lloyd was a total mess.
Imagine this, he was already hysterical in season 9 when she was taken along with the elemental masters because of Harumi and that was only for days. The time-skip after the merge is like, 5 years. Poor guy. Not only did he just lose everyone he grew up with and knew, he also lost his kid.
At first, he stepped out of the monastery for a bit to find everyone, but later returned home alone. Then he tried fixing Wu's destroyed scrolls to make some sense of them but that didn't work. Nothing seemed to work.

So they talk. Kai tries to console his baby brother but it's not helping much. Lloyd spends most of his time either in Wu's library or in his room staring at a damaged stuffed dragon. At this point, Kai's the only reason he's a functioning adult and tries to get him to eat and shower but yeah, one day Kai had enough.
He drags Lloyd out of bed one morning after greenie mumbles he's not hungry and forcefully sits him down to get some sense into him, which is funny because that's usually Lloyd's job.

I'm still waiting until part 2 to decide where the heck hellspawn ended up though. All I can say is that, it took a long time for her to finally understand what on earth was going on and why she's no longer in the monastery with everyone. Man, she's only 8. Only 8 fucking years old and all alone, what have I done. I'll elaborate more on her after we really understand dragons rising.

So the reason the answer to this question is so freaking late is because...well there's not really much of an excuse but don't worry, i'm not abandoning that fic. It's haunting me too much.

So uh, I have both good news and bad news.
The good news is, the hellspawn au is finally getting its first multi-chaptered fic. I'm planning on doing one per season following the spawning (it's still weird using that word lol even a year later) of our dear hellspawn. And since I started this AU last year with a tumblr post of Season 8, I guess it's only fair that's the season for the first fic as well.
So, you're getting some chapters about Lloyd's sub-par-but-trying-his-best parenting skills, a chaotic mini him, the other ninja trying their best to be helpful & Harumi being the walking red flag no one wants to acknowledge but her dad is head over heels for.

As much as I'd like to keep her with Lloyd throughout the entire time he was alone, it's uh...*sweats nervously*...it's not gonna happen.

So she gets separated from Lloyd during the Merge and he hasn't been the same since, just staring at the damaged stuffed dragon in his hands as though that's gonna tell him where she is. Kai does his best to be there for him but there's only so much he can do. In the end, he makes a promise to himself to bring her and everyone else back to his baby brother and leaves with the bounty.
What's the time skip between crystalized and dragons rising again? 5 years? If that's actually confirmed, that would make her a teenager. FSM, how time flies.
And poor Lloyd. He knows he's missed it.
Every time he looks at Arin and Sora, he ends up thinking of her—especially when he sees Sora. He initially maintains a cheery teacher persona around his two students but it slips when Sora finds a photograph of a blonde haired little girl who's with Lloyd somewhere in the monastery. She calls Arin to check it out, and Arin—the ever obsessed fan boy tells her everything.
