Throwback to the first day we had our Dabi sim

how some quirks work/feel

Ururaka's quirk drops her blood pressure and sugar, and recovery is a lot of electrolytes and sweets. she has kinda like pots like symptoms because of it, but it gets better as she gains better mastery of her quirk and when she doesn't over use it. When being used her quirk feels like theres a rubber band pulling taught throughout her body, and a building feeling like g forces. (plane taking off or elevator type of thing) Also she always has like a coating of tums in her bag probably but it's ok we won't judge her.

All for one is so hard to describe. It feels like it comes from everywhere at once. Not just your body. The best way i can put it is sitting in a bath close to your body temperature and feeling weightless, but instead of weightless nothing there is SOMETHING. It's a building sensation like flexing a muscle, every muscle, even the ones you can't control. you feel that exertion in your bones. all for one can also fluctuate a lot more with emotion than other quirks, it has a specific attachment to the emotion and physical body of the user, so that would probably vary. Theres something inside the user that tethers the quirk and is very much tangible, this happens with "odd" quirks a lot.

Bakugo has blood pressure problems because of his quirk, though hes very tolerant to it. The sweat he produces slightly lowers his blood pressure when consumed, because of the glycerin and it's pretty easy to ingest it for him just eating.It can cause him to tire easily when he's calm and his blood pressure is lower. He tends to nap and go to bed early (as we know) because of this. His quirk doesn't have much sensation specially, just explosion. idk hold a pop it in your hand and squeeze. If one for all is tethered to it's user bakugo's is the other end of that spectrum, it's an extension of him like anything else, but harder to feel beyond emotion causing him to sweat more.

Shigarki's quirk can be uncomfortable for reasons besides the skin stuff. He often has tingling in his hands, pins and needles almost but almost a different frequency than when a limb's asleep. With he overused his quirk his hands get sore and the feeling intensifies into sharper pains. it gets stronger when all fingers are touching something as well, or most fingers even but to a lesser extent.

Ok this is all I have too the top of my head, some of this is projecting chronic illness or sys stuff but I think it's fun so here :)

If you dont mind me asking, but how about Shigaraki and a male so with a quirk that allows him to remend damage items?

Fic Type: Scenario Fandom: My Hero Academia Pairing: Shigaraki x Male!Reader Word Count: 385 words

You remained seated at the bar, cleaning out the glasses with a rag. Looking at all the shattered glass on the counter, you sighed. Removing the white glove that covered your hand, you touched the glass, activating your quirk. A glow emitted from your fingertips as the glass began to rise and reassemble themselves back to their origin. Your attention was soon turned to a stampede of footsteps that came inside the bar. The rest of the group, including Shigaraki, came back from their expedite. "How did it go?" You turned around in the bar stool to face them. From the looks of it, not well. Toga's usual cheery grin, replaced with a frown. The group had bruises and marks from what you could tell. Kurogiri entered the bar behind you and did a once over on the group. "Not well, I assume." He answered your question. "Thank you for fixing the cups." He grabbed the drinkware, a small 'clink' from bunching them up together, and placed them on the shelf behind him.

In a flash, the group began arguing, trying to place blame on who ruined the mission. Shigaraki took a seat next to you and started to claw at his neck. "There is room for improvement." You rubbed his shoulder, trying to calm him down as he was muttering away to himself. "It's all (💙)'s fault!" The group all yelled, reaching the same conclusion. You turned around in shock. "I can't be held responsible! I wasn't even there!" You yelled back at them. At this instance, Shigaraki stopped ripping away at the flesh on his neck. "You're right. Which is why you need to be there the next time." Shifting back to Shiggy, you raised an eyebrow at him. "You're the missing link to all of this." He mumbled under his breath. The others went their separate ways, leaving just you and Shigaraki. "(💙)." He hummed. "Yes?" He grabbed ahold of your gloved hand and intertwined his fingers with yours. It's been a while since he was affectionate towards you due to the stress of dealing with infuriating heroes. "You will come next time, right?" He removed the hand from his face and looked at you solemnly. "Of course I will." Grasping his hand with both of yours, you stroked his knuckles lovely.

So, my Mr.Compress fanart is one of my most liked projects🎉 so I decided to take the simple sketch and color it!😆 This is one of my first times using Ibis Paint X so, If you have any tips, please! Anywho, I couldn't find the right shade of red but this works fine! 🥲

So, I was bored (always) 😂 and I decided that I was going to draw a Mha character… I scrolled through google photos and randomly stopped on Mr.Compress!! 🎉 So, I found a reference picture and drew him 😃

Kurogiri: "Sometimes I wonder if I'd be cursed to sit with kids even as Oboro."

Aizawa: "You probably wouldn't be allowed near kids as Oboro."

Kurogiri: "But Hizashi is. Daily."

Aizawa: "... Touché."

Mr. Compress once tried to teach Toga sleight of hand because she once saw him shuffling cards and was awed.

But when he did...

"Now, young lady, the art of sleight of hand is about finesse, deception, and most importantly — subtlety."

"Oooh, like sneaking up on someone and slicing their throat?"

"...Not exactly what I was going for, but sure, let’s work with that. Now, observe—"

He pulls a playing card from his sleeve, makes it "disappear", and then dramatically pulls it from behind Toga’s ear.

She claps excitedly. "Do it again! But, like, with a knife!"

"No knives, Toga."

"...Okay, okay, no knives." pulls out a scalpel

"Toga."

His next attempt...

"The key to all magic is misdirection. You draw their attention elsewhere—"

Toga nods. Then, mid-sentence, she throws a knife at Dabi. (It misses, but only because he moves at the last second.)

Dabi: "WHAT THE HELL, TOGA?!"

Toga: giggles "Misdirection!"

Mr Compress: "... Toga."

He gives up.

Toga is thrilled and believes she has mastered sleight of hand.

Dabi is never sitting next to them again.

Twice is the only one genuinely impressed and starts calling Toga "The Murder Magician".

Compress refuses to acknowledge this atrocity as magic.

So imagine if Aizawa and Present Mic do manage to pull Oboro Shirakumo out of Kurogiri. He’s back, his memories, his personality, everything. Same old Oboro, the one they knew. But something isn’t right.

Because there’s still a part of him for whatever reason, a deeply ingrained part, that is fiercely, unshakably loyal to... Tomura Shigaraki.

Like, just imagine him saying, after all the effort, at some point... "Tomura Shigaraki must be protected. That is my goal."

And Aizawa and Mic tried to, like, get him out of it, they really did, but no matter how much they tried to talk him out of it, no matter how much they try to reason with him, his brain just... shuts off. Remember that scene of their first interrogation of Kurogiri? And his brain activity went blank. Yeah, that kind of shuts off.

Not like he’s ignoring them. Not like he’s upset. But completely, biologically off. No brain activity. Zero. For two hours, more or less. The number differs each time, and they just stopped trying.

They said, they really tried to tell him that "You’re not Kurogiri anymore", and suddenly, he’s gone. Like someone just flipped a switch.

And when he comes back? He has no idea what happened.

This isn’t just brainwashing. This is something worse.

This is rewiring. This is deep-rooted conditioning. This is proof that All For One knew this might happen. Maybe not to Oboro, maybe he didn't think that far, but to Kurogiri? Yes. And so when he was created, that was placed deep into his consciousness.

And that’s not even the worst part, because sometimes, Oboro wanders off at night.

Not sleepwalking. Not dreaming. Just... standing in the middle of the street, staring into nothing. And when they shake him awake?

He doesn’t remember leaving the house.

And sometimes, when they’re not listening, he says things that terrify them.

"Tomura Shigaraki... he was alone for so long" "No one held his hand" "He only ever knew destruction"

"I failed him once. I cannot fail again".

They saved him... but they didn’t break his chains. They can't, they tried. These chains stayed from Kurogiri to Oboro.

And worst of all?

Maybe some part of him doesn't even want to get rid of these chains.
