Uhhh, Lucky Clover!!! Yay!!! Au by @northstarscowboyhat

Saw an older post from their au that said smth along the lines of Clover being one of the only people Orion doesnt dislike, and them getting closer when Clover grows up.

Also Uncle!Orion and Nibling!Clover is one of my fave dynamics to write for my aus, so I HAD TO. These drawings were basically handed to me on a silver platter.

Imagine once the barrier breaks and they're all on the surface, Clover is hit with the fact no, he isn't short, he's actually pretty tall compared to all the humans they meet, his parents are just really really tall </3

One of my favorite tags I've seen left on my older Clover design was "imagine having cowboy swag but also being able to play in the NBA" and I think about it a lot

I'm just imagining now Starlo playing horsey with Clover just like some dads play with their kids.

It'll be SO cute and goofy!

Would've be even better if Clover started playing it with Frisk after they grew up.

How the Feisty Five doing in the au? Or it is now Feisty Six with Clover?

The Feisty Five are still rooting and tooting in the Wild East! Here's some character notes ✍️

Clover is the unofficial sixth member of the Feisty Five. They're still called the deputy of the Wild East even if they can't always help out with the tourist attractions.

Their group dynamic is a lot more healthy and respectable since Starlo apologized. Really, the only thing they argue over is the name of their posse. No decision to change it has been made yet.

Ed is also Starlo's "deputy" and right hand man for any Wild East issues, since he doesn't have to live in hiding LOL.

The Feisty Five run the Wild East tourist attractions a bit more seriously now, and it's developed into an even bigger town. Starlo has to make money to raise his human kid now after all.

Ed lost his eye protecting Starlo during a mission gone awry. Starlo still feels incredibly guilty over it, but Ed doesn't dwell on it much or blame him for it.

All of them have hobbies or jobs outside of simply running the town with Starlo! Ace also runs a small casino in the Wild East, Moray has taken up tailoring and making outfits, Ed and Mooch teach self defence and other cowboy tips and tricks for visitors (really, Ed is there to stop Mooch from pick pocketing attendees)

I was thinking abt your Lucky Clover au (as i often do) and decided to make a sprite animation of Clover and Frisk ‼️

I loved drawing their designs! They look so silly i love them

OH MY GOODNESS! What a lovely surprise this was in my inbox!

This is some gorgeous sprite work! I love how you've rendered these designs, the little details like Frisk's hair clips and the ribbon on Clover's hair tie being a thinner outline, Clover's big poofy ponytail and the tassels on their poncho, I love it! This is so well polished they could be plopped right into an Undertale game!

And such a cute concept OMG... they're doing the Toriel hand hold while walking... this pose is adorable! I also love that Clover is smiling whereas Frisk has their usual neutral expression, just gah, so many small details to love and notice! This is absolutely warming my heart!

Thank you so much for this beautiful gift! And thank you for the kind words about Lucky Clover AU oh my gosh, hearing that someone else thinks about it (other than myself haha) is so flattering!

So now i Will explain this:

How we know the people who have this bells are the ones close to Ceroba and this it's pretty normal and it's for that that Victoria don't understand.

But with knowing who it's her parent it's obviously that she spend more time in the wild east and with the feisty five +Clover, so Ceroba can looks what type of person Victoria is and well it's the Best friend of her child. And we have the thing that Clover told to their ma about the aunt thing so she want to give that bell meanings she trust her and care for the human girl. So yeah, i hope it's not so long

(And elastic bandita or bandita elástica how it's in spanish it's something for the hair, i told because i don't know if bandita have other meaning in english)

The UTY OCs I mentioned before! They're brothers living somewhere in the Dunes after the loss of their parents years ago. Where they live is unknown, but Habanero is a known nuisance, especially in the Wild East. Some extra notes about them!

Habanero is the older brother, a little older than Clover. Padron is a year or so older than Frisk. They both use he/him pronouns and are both Fire Monsters (same species as Grillby, but unrelated). Habanero has been raising Padron for a majority of his life.

Habanero is a well known bandit in the Dunes, but he has a poor reputation. He constantly attempts to steal from the Wild East or jeopardize the Feisty Five's missions, but is always caught. The only skill he does have is that he always manages to escape later, only to repeat the cycle endlessly.

Padron is more often than not bedridden, due to being a very sickly child. His magic is rather weak, but he is extremely intelligent for his age. Because he can rarely leave home, not many people even know about him; Habanero doesn't like to share the fact that he's stealing to support his brother.

Habanero has a particular rivalry with Clover and cannot stand them, with the two often fighting when they encounter each other. He doesn't know they're a human.

Though Habanero can't stand the Wild East, he also dresses up as a cowboy and roleplays the part of a bandit . Nobody knows why he does this; Starlo did not hire him.

since clover is starlo's kid, how does solomon and crestina feel about being grandparents and how does orion feel about being an uncle?

Oh, Starlo's parents absolutely adore Clover, no questions asked. They don't mind at all that Clover is a human! That's their son's child, and thus, that makes Clover their grandchild. Clover is absolutely spoiled by them and they love whenever Starlo brings them over to visit. Clover has lots of sleepovers at the farm house growing up! Having grandparents is something they've never experienced before on the surface, but they adore their new grandpa and grandma.

I HC that Crestina and Solomon (based on Crestina's dialogue if you speak to her in their farm house) were kind of nudging their sons to settle down with a spouse/kids. They weren't too harsh or pushy about it, but you know Starlo gets a few comments over it from his mother. The fact that they're so relieved to finally have a grandchild is a little embarrassing for Starlo.

Orion acts disinterested at first. He doesn't really want to get involved with being an uncle when he already has farm work to deal with. But despite that, he warms up to Clover really quickly (partially because Starlo threatens to kick his ass if his brother is mean to his kid). Even if he doesn't show it that often, he really likes having a nibling. He tells Clover all of Starlo's embarrassing teen stories to get back at his brother, and Clover is one of the few people he truly enjoys the company of. I imagine they get even closer when Clover's older.

So overall, Clover's absolutely been accepted and adopted into the Sunnyside family! They love Starlo's funny little human baby.
