Everybody on Twitter is shipping Bowser and Luigi after the second Mario movie trailer and I can only think of poor Kamek lol.Ā
Seriously heās my favorite Mario character. I have no idea why.
Taken from twitter. If you were curious here are some of the inspirations I used when creating Paralysis (Aka my Antasma based exe)Ā
The first bit of inspiration comes from an exe made by twitter user JeyoJaJa (Not sure if they have a tumblr or not) named Freakazoid. While I havenāt kept up with their lore. I love the design and the style used for it. So when making the image of paralysis. I wanted him to have the same sort of creepy vibe. If I succeeded at that. Itās up to you to decide. But I think I did an alright design with the first version.
The second bit of inspiration comes from a DC villain known as Doctor destiny. Basically he gained possession of an artifact known as the Dreamstone. allowing him to manipulate dreams and, as revealed in the sandman graphic novel. During an encounter with the justice league he was left unable to dream and became all outstretched. While I havenāt read the sandman series. I loved the irony of a dream manipulator not being able to sleep himself. So I basically lifted that and doctor destiny's motivation of wanting to dream again for Paralysis. The third bit of inspiration comes from well...Sleep Paralysis. I mean come on, the guy is named paralysis after all (that and I wanted to name him after a sleeping condition) and sleep paralysis just happened to fit the best. IT also vaguely inspired the state his victims are left in during an encounter and frankly. Paralysis basically being a sleep paralysis demon just fits in my humble opinion. This may seem odd but Paralysis is also based on our ability to scare the shit out of ourselves for lack of better words. As an example, have you ever mistaken a bundle of clothes for a person lying on your floor? Or though something was gonna jump out and scare you fnaf style. Thatās the kind of horror I wanted to invoke with Paralysis. How his method of fearmongering relies on the victims minds wandering and conjuring up their own demons. I though itād be a unique for an exe to do that. Mix that with me adoring Antasma growing up and thus, Paralysis was born.
For some other factoids. While I havenāt written down a fully fleshed out origin for Paralysis. I was thinking of basing paralysis on some kind of sleep based god/entity. Such as the slavic godess Moranna or some other deity. Iāve also considered making Paralysis a human at one point that got warped. But those are just ideas with nothing concrete as of now. I had a dream that there was a new Mario and Luigi game (but it wasnāt the one coming to the switch)
Basically some group of Koopaās with strange markings showed up to the mushroom kingdom and Kidnap Peach. Taking her to the āLost Kingdomā
Mario and Luigi believe Bowser was responsible and was shocked to find out he wasnāt. But also Bowser gets kidnapped!
So Mario and Luigi teams up with Bowser Jr to rescue Peach and Bowser.
Bowser Jr. had a gimmick that heād help traverse the kingdom with his clown cart that got upgrades as you traveled.
Itās revealed that the main villain is actually Bowserās fatherās. Who was sealed inside a crystal. Bowser never knew this.
Apparently Bowserās dad was a real monsterous guy that even most of his supporters didnāt like him, and they worked with the previous Royal of the mushroom kingdom to seal him away. It was Kamek that helped seal him away.
Bowserās Dad, Towzer was planning on using Peachās power to break his seal and then take over his Sonās body.
The whole story was giving talks about fatherhood and family. It was actually really endearing.
Towzer actually does get free but Bowser resists being controlledā¦ until he says he will go after his son. Then he capitulates.
Towzer transforms bowser to look more like Giga bowser. Itās actually really cool.
Mario, Luigi and Bowser Junior beat up Towzer and free him from Bowserā¦ and becomes a gigantic monster.
Thus we get the Bowser Junior giant mech battle. With bowser helping in the fight.
Towzer gets defeated for good.
Bowser talks with Kamek about his father, saying he understood why Kamek never told him about him.
āHe was actually really pathetic. Using Me to try and live longer. If he was so weak to be sealed away he isnāt worth crying over. Iād never leave my son alone.ā
And it was a really sweet end to the story with Peach making them all a cake. Which Bowser gets to taste.
But then he tries to kidnap peach again and the cycle starts again. But Bowser Junior thanks the Mario brothers for their help and that today he wonāt help his dad. But next time, he will.ā

Lost Au: Corruption au but 10x worse. Basically the corrupted ones have memories and everything they see is altered from reality. More info from this post. It works with all fandoms and is easily changed from orginal. (But the orginalās āSourceā is veryā¦ specific.
Medieval au: Basically just the characters in a medieval setting. Thats it basically.
Legendary pokemon au: The main charcters are legendary pokemon while most side characters are humans. Easily adaptable.
Watcher au: (specific to Hermitcraft and the life smps) an au were one person (usually Grian) is a watcher. A god-like creature that watches other āstoriesā and usually donāt have feelings.

so a concept that came to my head with one thought:
"Princess Peach is a Princess..... where's the king?"
So, I'll introduce the washed-up king I came up with, King Hawthorne Toadstool!
As a young King, he was a kind, benevolent leader who pushed the Toads to be better than they were, and had a wonderful, friendly alliance with the neighboring Koopa Kingdom. He was seen as a bit tough, but fair and good. The only problem was that he partied. Sometimes, a bit too much.
It was this partying that lead to Toadsworth being handed a baby Peach by a mysterious woman. No one knows who she was, or why she abandoned Peach to the castle. But, Hawthorne quickly took to being a father and started teaching the baby Peach everything he could as early as he could.
However, it wasn't much. As, when Peach was very young, the Toads of the kingdom hoisted King Hawthorne out of the throne and crowned Peach as their ruler. Their reasoning was that he was too hard on them (even if he was actually really supportive and just wanted them to be the best they could), while Peach didn't expect anything from them. There were a few Toads who weren't sure of this change, asking how well a child could rule them, but most Toads thought this a great idea.
Hawthorne, without his throne, became a bit.... melancholy. He is just an "odd, lonely, sad man" who drinks in the crevices' of the Mushroom Kingdom. He'll talk about how back in his day they didn't have a crisis every fuckin day, and they certainly didn't have an overworked plumber chasing after an overgrown fire-breathing turtle. Ah, well. He doesn't try to contest the crown at all, and simply tries to keep to himself and out of the hero's way.
Peach has not seen him since she was very young and would not recognize him. In fact, not really anyone would. Even his old friend Toadsworth. Most older Toads would have to have their memory jogged of him.

the Fabric of time and space in the Mario and sonic universes
I find it very funny just how different the two Universes are in terms of how each deal with the concept of time travel and alternate universes. Because in the Mario universes the fabric of time and space tend to be respect....while in the sonic universe they Crip walk over the damn thing

Little Turtle
A little more background;
Mario is a medic student.
He spends most of his time jumping between the clinic and his and Luigis home. Of course, he tries to help his blind brother as much as he can, but Mario knows Luigi is more than capable of taking care of himself.
Their family insisted on using all their savings on Mario and his career, and both Mario and Luigi were fine with that. But Luigi also has a passion that needs funding. Mario knew there was a way, so he did all he could and worked hard for a scholarship.
The day Luigi met the little Turtle in the sewers was the start of it all. He got it in his head and couldn't let go...
It is not exactly common. But with a lot of trouble, persistence, the money from their family, and Luigis undeniable uncanny ability to deal with animals-
he managed to bring himself into a college of veterinary medicine.
It was a fight to get in this place, and still enough students and professors don't think he belongs there and who don't want him there.
Yes, he could not see. Yes, he would never be able to determine the problems on sight, but he has the ability to connect with animals. It sometimes seemed like they would show him what's wrong. He has the ability to feel the finest differences when touching the pets, and he was the only one who was allowed to touch some of the patients. If they are scared or about to attack the staff- Luigi could shine the brightest. The animals always choose him.
Mario; "That's good! Feel the difference? It's like crossing the border in different directions with every turn. And keep the bandage on the arm while rolling it down."
The good thing is that when you are not alone in your profession... your bro can train with you. ;)
