Your gateway to endless inspiration
As an INTP. It's really hard to exist in a world that feels so integrated for sensors or people with high Fi/Fe. I just feel like an alien among my peers. I don't speak in class. I don't have many friends. I hate my incompetent and overly strict teachers. I don't get social cues and dynamics. I don't get inside jokes. I don't get why I have to know the stuff they teach me. I don't think I should trust my teenage mind to pick a career for the rest of the life. Everything seems bleak and boring.
It sucksss when you are not good at maths and physics and all that nonsense that people care for. It hurts when you don't get to be appreciated for your talents beacuse people don't care about the things you are good at. Especially being an INTP, it's hard to ignore that most of other INTPs are known for being the math and computer nerd (not a huge fan of computer either).
I want to read poetry and dissect 19th cen. novels and their themes. I want to debate on philosophy and politics. I want to write essays and articles on global issues. I want to read books by authors all around the world.
It took me some time to realise (not really, I always knew) that I was made not for the STEM subjects. I was made for the art, the history, the love for literature. As John Keating said in dead poet's society;
"We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for"

True that :] Idk what an Apollo Kid is, but I’d definitely also fit in with them lmao
It's hard being the Hufflepuff Apollo kid INFP weeb of the family but someone has to be
I mean.. yeah. Idk why they haven’t shown up yet honestly. I’m an INFP btw🫧
Yes.
I found this Quote on the 16 Personalities Website, in the INFP section while reading through it and I liked this quote/rhyme??? a lot. Hope my fellow INFP’s (and of course people of all MBTI types) like this as much as I do 😊
You know, I think it’s very clear that there are different types of favorite characters that you can have and so far I have split them in four categories:
• the “I relate to you” category which is basically just people that go through the same or similar struggles in their story that you had to go through / are going through
Example from my list: Luna Lovegood (she’s also an INFP, so she’s very similar to me)
• the “you’re literally my baby” category, which mostly consists of cute characters that you want to take care of
Example from my list: Qiqi from Genshin Impact (she’s hated by a lot of people in the fandom but I just find her endearing)
• the “please be my parent” category, which is kinda the exact opposite of the last one, just characters that you may see as a mentor or parental figure
Example from my list: Miranda Bailey from Grey’s Anatomy (she’s stern but means well and also a very good teacher)
• and last but not least the “I am attracted to you” category, which is kinda self explanatory, a lot of people have characters in that category, that might not really be the nicest of all, but they still like them because “they’re hot okay?!” Example from my list: Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7 (what can I say? He’s hot and I have a thing for men with long hair)
eventually I’m gonna make a post with examples of every SG character acting like their MBTI type and none of you are going to know what the fuck I’m talking about
re: prev post, I’m actually on the ‘sang-woo is an ENTJ’ side of the discussion on that and I’m not 100% sold on in-ho as an INTJ, I could see ISTJ just as much
squid game actually doesn’t have a load of horrendous mistypes on PDB which is nice, with the exception of hyun-ju being voted as an enneagram 4 which is literally always applied to trans people purely for being trans. actually come to think of it I also don’t buy the case for her being an ISFP, she’s definitely an ENFJ which I think has the vote rn
