Icebreaker headcanons pt 12

(what type of clothes they tend to wear)

Jaysen is a skinny jean defender for life it's his staple in every single damn outfit he wears. Also wears a bunch of jewelry that he's carefully curated over the years from thrift shops. Has dreams making crust pants one day or a battle Jacket he isn't sure yet. Only wears black unless it's to sleep

Barbies fits are very solid, very simple. Usually like a graphic tee with some nice jeans and a hoodie. Nova likes to choose his outfits for fun she makes sure they match even when they aren't in the same place! Most of his clothes are greys, and green, except for his jeans he chooses those very carefully

Dorian is a mix of Jaysen and barbie. He doesn't wear skinny jeans but he does usually wear all black. Though every once and a while he'll wear a different color, and it's red. He's got a sick collection of shoes though. Also lots of cool bracelets.

Mickey wears loose clothing, he honestly dresses like a skater. Goes more for the texture of clothing than the look. Usually just sticks with his graphic tees that he steals from Jaysen, and his pants may or may not need a belt. Nova used to make him match outfits with her so every once and a while he would look very different. He can wear tight pants every once and a while he just doesn't really like to

Delilah wears a lot of loose and flowy clothes like dresses, and those pants that you would see in Mamma Mia, she likes for the colors to match her hair. Every once and a while though she wears all black for fun. She really likes hairpins and cool charm bracelets.

Jade is amazing at clothes, she likes bell bottom jeans, and beautiful flowy tops. She likes to make Jewelry like necklaces. she's also got amazing earrings. She tends to go for themes on her outfits and is able to execute them very well! She doesn't really have a preference for colors just what she thinks is good at the time!

Bailey's style is always changing, sometimes she dresses like Mickey other days she looks like Delilah. She loves funky earrings. She's also got a lot of those t-shirts with just funny sayings like the "I pee in public pools ones.". She usually wears casual clothing but every once and a while does just switches it up for fun!

Nova low-key dresses like a basic white girl but she ramps it up and adds to it with a lot of her own inspirations and always looks good. She loves rings. Loves to layer her clothes and just experiment! Also like jade the color really just depends on what she's feeling that day!

Guys the potential of Jaysen calling Mickey "your grace" as an insult type thing to endearing and like loving would go crazzyyy! trust me!

Delilah always picked up Mickey when they were kids and just ran away with him they could be doing anything and you look away and both are gone

Jaysen always followed Shae around like a duck when they were kids so Shae scared him to get him to leave him alone. it didn't work

Delilah and Jade go on coffee dates constantly. They choose each other's orders so they always try something new.

Barbie can quote any line from the animated El chavo show. The one for kids

Dorian can do the entire choreography to Britney's spears hit me baby one more time. No one believed him at first till he did it.

Mickey gets really carsick on car rides so he just sleeps through them but it makes him sad since he likes them.

Nova always made Mickey watch MLP with her so now it's tradition to watch it together specifically gen 4 ofc.

Sid and Karim are ice eaters Bailey hates the sound and always glares

Zero and Kovy can perform entire scenes from Romeo and Juliet it's awesome.

The freshman royals and them on Christmas

Dorian

Christmas is his favorite. Very cheerful and giddy, he's making bad jokes the entire time but everyone laughs either way because it's Christmas. Really good at gift giving he goes on pure gut and always smiles and says thanks for the gifts he gets. Quite literally the life of the party. And then by the end of the night he crashes and falls asleep. The extroverted older brother in a sense.

Jaysen

He likes Christmas but prefers thanksgiving.Really good at entertaining kids and hanging out with them. Also one of the people who likes to debate. He loves opening gifts because he finds the tears of wrapping paper satisfying. He's good at gift giving since he gets other people to ask others for what they want so they don't end up with something they don't want. So he's like the cool uncle whose younger kids are always bothering he doesn't mind it though.

Barbie

He likes to sit and chill out but he is usually around people. He also really likes making conversation. However he does disappear for a couple of hours to take a nap. With gifts he often enlists other people to help him and it works really well actually. Christmas is one of his fave holidays since he's with his family. The iconic aunt honestly his sass is probably amazing.

Mickey

He's okay with Christmas. He likes the concept of it more than the actual day itself. He really freaks about gift giving and receiving so he always makes Nova help who always does. With getting gifts he kinda just sets them aside with a thanks it kinda worries people. He usually goes and hides in his room when it gets late since he's tired and then kids go with him since they also need a break. Essentially the awkward older cousin, kids like him just for diff reasons than they would Jaysen.

Im sick so here's some headcanons (icebreaker headcanons pt 8)

Mickey sends random pictures of cats from his YouTube videos to friends and just denies it each time. He does it on the random.

Dorian whenever someone is injured from hockey or just sick always, "nothing a little vaporub cant fix" because that's what his parents always said.

Barbie quotes vines constantly it's to the point he doesn't actually realize he's quoting it because it's so ingrained in his vocab at this point.

Jaysen is the person to absolutely just Rick roll people constantly. He'll say he's showing someone a song hand them headphones and blast the rickroll.

Icebreaker headcanons pt 7!

Mickey half the time doesn't actually realize Jaysen's flirting with him and takes it literally, and once Dorian and barbie had to witness the most genius pick up line only for Jaysen to get a hesitant nod and chuckle. After a while Jaysen just started getting more direct to the point that when they were dating he just went wanna go out. As he explained this very good specific plan to go on a date. Mickey was so happy because it was direct and actually made more sense to him than the random pick up line.

Freshman royals red flags (headcanons pt 6)

Mickey: has a set amount of words per day but not even he knows how much he can talk before he gets too tired. but every once and a while he will talk more than he has all week combined

Barbie: constantly says "shhhh they don't know I know this hack" and fails miserably every time. An. For example he says It before picking up a cat he sneaked up on but the cat wasn't trained and pissed on him. He hasn't recovered.

Dorian: tells people random outrageous lies that he makes up on the spot about whatever they're talking about, he once told Mickey that the moon landing was fake. Mickey spit out his drink when it happened.

Jaysen: he owns the weirdest slippers like the turkey ones that you find at stores, but he owns multiple pairs and was once spotted with a pair of rat slippers running to class. He's also been spotted throwing them at Mickey which helped fuel their rivalry

Don't mind me just thinking about how in "In repair" if max was right about there being a bunch of hot guys tryna dance on and get with Mickey how Jaysen was probably fuming . Also the fact that max met and got to dance with Jaysen's ex Jisung is amazingly connected I love these books. And Jaysen would have thrown hands if he could. We saw the way he reacted to novas sisterly kiss on the cheek. It's inevitable.

Mickey James III probably tried lots of hobbies when he was a kid but not for fun. He tried them because he thought maybe if he was good at a lot of things other than hockey maybe his dad will come visit sooner. He tried countless hobbies that helped with things that in his mind translated to hockey as well. He only really ever stuck with painting once he finally gave up because he realized his dad wasn't coming back for him. The Vinters however kept all those paintings and have his favorites hung up in their house. And whenever people ask about the paintings they always say "yeah our son painted them ." Because even though he may not be blood to them he's still family.

Raaaaah icebreaker headcanons pt 5 because im watching movies

Mickey really likes movies like fantastic Mr fox, Coraline, isle of dogs, and kubo. He also really enjoys studio Ghibli. His movie taste hasn't really changed since being younger since he likes to watch the same movies over and over. He likes weird kids animation.

Jaysen also watches studio Ghibli because he has younger cousins who like them, but he enjoys more 80s movies that are gonna change your life view like breakfast club, the dead poets society, karate kid. Stuff like that.

Dorian likes superhero movies like DC and marvel he tells people he likes them both equally but likes DC a tiny bit more . He also likes 80s movies that are gonna change your life specifically ferris buelers day off, and the rest of them. Dorian only watches studio Ghibli because of barbie but he doesn't hate them

Barbie likes studio Ghibli too, but he doesn't really have a preference towards movies and will watch whatever but he does like, SLC punk, spirited away, and, fight club.

They however all grew up watching random kids shows on every channel they could so they weren't really just Disney kids they were everything kids. Dorian and barbie also had Saturday morning cartoons on Telemundo. Mickey liked putting on nature documentaries specifically about sea and river animals to piss off Nova. Jaysen having an older brother meant his choice was usually overpowered by Shae. Mickeys was too because of Nova since they have a 4 week difference but Mickey would fight Nova.

Barbie is a FREAK at just dance. Like he's so good to the point Dorian just refuses to play against him anymore. Whenever the royals play games and just dance comes up barbie is like "Hell yeaaaah this is my shit!!". Dorian just groans in defeat and doesn't even play. Every other game barbie is average at but just dance he's just better than everyone. The royals are always mad about because to them its like oh my God how can someone be this good the fuck?

Mickey likes nice big oversized hoodies. This leads to him consistently stealing Jaysen's hoodies whenever Jaysen leaves them in his vicinity or dorm. So once Jaysen went to visit his family Mickey didn't have any hoodies that smelt like him or were nice and oversized since Jaysen stole them back to do laundry. So Dorian just ended up lending him one of his. So when Jaysen came back he was just so confused. Like why is my boyfriend wearing your hoodie?!?! Dorian was like "why are you beefing with me rn my bro was cold???" Jaysen since then has consistently given Mickey his hoodies so it won't happen again. Mickeys is quite happy with this but he also only accepts Jaysen hoodie's if they smell like him. However obviously if it's one of his friends like Dorian he doesn't care just as long as it's oversized.

Jaysen is a very neat person and likes to make sure everything is tidy and clean. His stuff is all sorted and kept nice and as spotless as he can have it. Mickey thinks its a little bit crazy but mostly impressive that he is so tidy. While Jaysen thinks that it's crazy that Dorian and Mickey live in such a messy room.

Icebreaker headcanons: Mickey traces patterns on Jaysen's skin when he's bored usually during long bus rides or plane rides for away games or just when they are hanging out. Usually it's patterns of three of shapes and lines and then when he restarts to make a new pattern he just like pats him twice wherever he's tracing the pattern. Jaysen is aware but just chooses to stay quiet and try and guess the patterns while Mickey traces them. He usually traces them on his arm or wherever is closest to his arm.
