Once you got back to the Infinity castle you sought out the demons that matched the flower crowns.

"NAKIME-"

The sound of the biwa rang and you were teleported in front of the one-eyed demon.

"There is no need to shout Y/n. I can hear you even if you whisper."

"I have a surprise for you." You giggle as you hop around her. Once you faced her back you gently placed the mainly white flower crown on her head.

You then hopped around to face her with the brightest smile. You watched as she felt the crown without taking it off her head so she could see it.

"Thank you, Y/n." She gave a rare smile as she put it back on her head.

"Can you bring me to Daki and Gyotarou please."

"I'm sorry but they are busy at the moment. It wouldn't be safe where they are."

"Douma?"

"Not here."

"Akaza?"

"No."

"Hantengu or Gyokko."

"Both are out, I'm afraid. Your father is here though."

You pouted ever since you've been back you haven't been able to leave without a trusted demon by your side. Muzan had you under lock and key but he also changed his additude a bit.

"Do you know when anyone will be back."

"No." this time she didn't wait for you to ask another question and with the strum of her biwa she sent you to Muzan's study.

You pushed the door open to see your father at his desk with his eyes glued to a book.

"Hello Y/n."

"Hi father, I made you a present."

"Oh and what would that be." He acted surprised as he looked up from his book. This was the change, he was nicer to you and actually acted like a dad for the first time in a long time.

"A flower crown. Koku brought me to a flower field."

He had a look of annoyance on his face but he tried not to show it. (he was definitely throwing it away once you were gone)

He bent down so you could place it on his head, which you did.

"Y/n did you like your time outside."

"Yes, very much."

"Good, I-"

"Can I go out more?" You asked using puppy dog eyes. (they never work)

"Absolutely not." He said sternly. "You take risks just but leaving the castle, If you try anything It'll be you that gets the punishment."

You looked at thr ground in throught.

'Did Akaza get punished because of me, is that why I haven't seen him since I've been back. I don't want people to get hurt cause of me.'

"Where's Akaza?"

"He's busy." He said going back to his book.

'he wouldn't notice if I went looking for Akaza would he?' You thought as you walked to the door of his office.

"Before you go I want you to know that I'll be checking on you every few hours, troublemaker. If you try anything I will know."

It's been hundreds of years and you've been reincarnated so many times that you lost count but you remember everything.

You find yourself wondering around in Japan's Taisho Era.

You watched as the times became more modern. Everything changed but you.

You tried not to interact with people if you didn't have to but one day you saw a boy running, in your direction, down a mountain with a girl on his back, she was injured.

As the boy got closer to you there was a very distinct smell that filled your nostrils.

It was Muzan's scent.

The smell was still so familiar even after centuries.

You followed the scent, going in the opposite direction of the boy. It didn't take you long to find the source.

"Excuse me?" You whispered lower than you meant to but he still heard you.

Muzan whipped his head around.

"Y/n?" His voice had grown deeper and his eyes held a bit of emotion that you almost recognized as your dad.

"You know who I am?"

Muzan walked toward and when he was close enough he pulled you into a hug.

"Of course I do. How could I forget my own child?"

"You acted as if I was an afterthought while you pretended to be human with another family. Another Child."

"I missed you so much."

"Whatever"

You hugged him back.

Muzan whipped his head around.

"Y/n, my sweet sweet little girl." He engulfed you in a hug, you tried to pull away but he was too strong. "I did everything I sought out to but it brought me no satisfaction, I realized you were the reason I wanted to do anything at all. I did everything for you but got lost along the way."

He held you as he poured his heart out but you weren't listening. You were still mad, the hundreds of years that have passed only made your anger fester.

"So what do you want me to do about it now. I felt abandoned, I tried to talk to you but you were always in a bad mood."

"I sor-"

"It's to late for that."

"Please let me be a father again."

By this point your eyes were watering but you wouldn't dare cry in front of him.

"How?"

"You could be a demon again, we can look for the blue spider lily together this time. I promise things will be different."

"No, never again." You then turn around and start to walk away he grabbed your hand but you yanked your hand out of his grasp.

"Goodbye, dad."

There was a festival the week of your families disappearance.

"C'mon Shoya, it's time to go." Your mother called from a crowd, she couldn't see you amongst the crowd and your father was looking

"I'm com-" You bummed into someone's leg and it knocked you down.

You picked yourself up and bowed, "I'm sorry." You said as he patted your head.

"It's alright, wheres your mom? Would you like me to bring you to her?" He said it with such a soft smile and everyone in the village knew each other so he had to know your mom right?

"Yes please, she's... I heard her that way?" Your voice grew quiet as you questioned yourself. You looked all around hoping she would call out for you again.

"I don't know where she is." You were about to cry when Muzan picked you up and say you on his hip.

"It's alright well find her." He said while walking through the crown of people. He gave you a false sense of hope.

The sun was going down.

The two of you walked around the entire village in vain. Your mother and father were no where to be seen.

You nodded. The realization that you are all alone set in as you started to cry.

"It's alright, Y/n I'm sure we'll find them." He patted your back. You didn't notice what he called you.

You don't remember anything about your parents or how you became a demon.

i feel like im going to hell for asking something like this, but... Muzan with a daughter that knows he has a fake family, but he spends more time with the fake kid than his actual one. even though he promises to make time for his daughter, it's never kept. real daughter gets depressed and offs themselves by sunlight, with a note wishing he'd love them more instead of making them feel like a mistake

The sun was setting as Muzan shuffled around his room. He was getting ready to go to the town he had established a family in.

You watched in the door way, hoping he didn't forget about the promise he made to you.

You were going to redecorate your room, and multiple others in the castle, together. (It's a old castle and muzan likes to be up to date with the times)

"Dad?"

"Hm? "

"Where are you going?" A question that you had asked many times and always got the same answer-

"To keep up my image as a human."

'It's like he's ashamed of me'

"Can I come?"

"No, I'll be back later." And with that he was gone.

So, like always, you waited patiently for him to come back.

He didn't come back for a whole week. In that time you had redecorated everything. He didn't notice.

When he did he acted as if he were there the whole time.

'I should be used to this by now.' You thought but that didn't stop it from hurting.

He completely forgot about his promise. This wouldn't be the first time it happened

"Dad?"

"Hm?"

"The next time you leave I won't be here when you come back." You say matter of factly. The only reason you've been around this whole time was because you thought he wanted you to be.

Time had changes your father, he used to adore you, he used to drop everything for you.

"And why is that?"

"You'll see when I get back." He said walking away from him.

He didn't even question it. He didn't even care.

When you got into your room you wrote notes for the 12 moons and your father.

You waiting for muzan to leave then you left after him, leaving the notes in places where each recipient would easily find.

You ran until you reached a cliff where you decided would be a nice stop to watch the sunrise.

The only time you're not being constantly watched is when your father is in the middle of a meeting with the upper moons. He told you to stay put in your room but when have you ever listened to him.

Usually, Nakime would keep you away from any room you're not supposed to be in but today she was distracted. By what? I guess we'll never know.

Without the biwa woman to stop you, you wandered into your father's experiment room.

It didn't take long for something to break. In fact, one of the legs of the table just popped off and the entire table fell. Chemicals and broken glass surrounded you.

It was loud.

Every demon in the castle heard it... Your father heard it.

"Y/n what did you do." Your father was behind you in a heartbeat.

"I barely did anything I swear." You wave you sporadically as he walks towards you.

Your father took you by the ear and dragged you out of the room, he dragged you all the way to your room without the help of Nakime.

You complained the whole way there but that didn't matter to him.

"You're in time out until I say so. If you break anything else it'll be worse than just your ears. I swear you're a disaster waiting to happen."

He locked you into your room until the next day.

When you opened your door outside was your favorite snack.

You found a way to sneak out and come back without anyone noticing. You would ask Muzan for a day to yourself in the flower room and of course, you wouldn't go there, instead, you would go to Tengen's estate as soon as the moon came up. After a while, they started to expect you and leave out food if they decided to go to sleep early.

Sometimes you would talk to Gyomei and Genya while they were about to go in for the night. Giyuu was always busy so you barely ever saw him, but Shinobu hardly ever slept. She reminded you of your father, the way he would slave over test tubes in hopes of finding something that was seemingly impossible.

Mitsuri and Obanai were rare to find but when you did it seems like you would find them together more after the death of Rengoku. Muichirou is your favorite to go by, he treats you like a little sibling

he may be a demon but he isn't heartless, he is more intact with his human emotions than anyone else

he could tell that upon your return you were different

Normally you would get on everyone's nerves until Muzan stopped you. You still did that but there were moments when he would catch you staring off into space

You also started talking to him less

He knew you would leave almost every day and he just let you. He couldn't bare to take another punishment from Muzan plus you attitude improved everyday

He is your father above all else, he wasn't just going to let you go but at the same time you making a bond with the Hashira could be useful down the line

He didn't like the idea of using his child like that but if it meant the both of you could be immortal than he would do anything

He would have a demon follow you until you got into any estate

'Somethings wrong.' you thought as you smelt the newly punched ticket. Its faint but you can definitely smell lower moon Enmu. The lights started flickering and suddenly you were back at the infinity castle. In your father's experiment room.

'this can't be right.' you looked around to find something- anything out of place. Nothing.

You could hear footsteps approach the room.

The door opened.

"Papa!" You ran up to him as he kneeled getting himself ready for impact as your body hugged him, a near bone crushing hug if he was human.

"I'm sorry papa, I only wanted to see the flowers I never wanted to cause you trouble." You sobbed into his shoulder as he comforted you.

"What are you talking about, Y/n? What flowers, you have a flower garden in here?"

"Oh right my flower garden. Can we go there I wanna show you something." You pretended to be confused, You realized this was a dream. You didn't wan to wake up.

You want everyone to get along but it's not that simple. You'd rather not think about it.

"Did I do good?" The child brought you laid you in front of Enmu.

"Yes you did, A wonderful dream awaits you."

The poor girl fell to the ground. dead.

"Y/n~ I would what you could be dreaming about." Enmu pet your head. "I would've never thought my little spell would work on you."

Dragging him to your flower garden you sat him down it the center.

"Blood demon art: Botanical Communication." (name is a work in progress)

As your demon art activated the flowers around started to dance and change color creating a beautiful display of mesmerizing imagery. You danced with the moving flowers as they formed each image. Muzan clapped and encouraged you to continue.

The images you made mimicked the things that you have seen on your time outside of the castle.

This might be a dream but It's the happiest you've been in a long time.

'I should wake up now... I should- shouldn't I'

The train has now been completely taken over by Enmu. You were in his 'head' with the conductor to watch over you. It wasn't long before Hanafuda and the boar man to know that and start attacking it.

They successfully killed the lower moon and broke the spell on you.

You woke up in tear on the ground. Looking around you see the derailed train behind you. You try and push you self up failing to see you right arm and leg have been broken.

The train station wasn't that far, you could see and hear the unfamiliar sound of the train engine as it stopped for the people to get on.

A bunch of Umai's later (and you getting secondhand embarrassment) Rengoku's eating was interrupted by 3 demon slayers, One of which wore Hanafuda.

Muzan taught you to be afraid of the one who wore hanafuda earrings. 'He is stronger than I, if you ever come across him run.' he would say. As if you blood and body reacted on its own you broke out in a cold sweat, while pushing as far away from the boy as possible.

"h-hanafuda." unfortunately Rengoku didn't hear your frail voice as he invited the boy to sit with him as the other 2 sat elsewhere.

He placed the box across from you and sat across from Rengoku.

"And what brings the 3 of you here? a mission." He asked

"Yes, he were ordered to join you, We received a message from a crow which let us know casualties on this train were on the rise."

"Ah, that's why your here. Understood."

As the conversation went on you relaxed a bit. The box got your attention now, as if the boy wasn't even there in the first place.

There's a demon in there. You can sense it.

(never realized how dry the start of this conversation was)

Getting off the seat, you reached out for the box but your hands your grabbed by the flame Hashira.

"Theres a demon in there. Let her be."

"Oh ok." Rengoku picked you up and sat you back down.

"I have to say I'm surprised, to say that they're Muzan's child they don't smell anything like him." The hanafuda boy commented causing you to hide under Rengoku's Haori.

"OH, I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you."

He would introduced himself to you if it was for the other two demons slayers causing a ruckus.

One of them was halfway out the widows shouting about how he wanted to race the train while the other was pulling him back in. Rengoku stopped them both saying.

"I wouldn't, who knows when a demon might appear."

"Wait DEMONS show up on this train. I thought we were meeting up this them not trapped with them." The one with orange and yellow hair screeched.

'my goodness he is loud' you mentally sighed while covering your ears.

'who ever shows up please shut him up first.'

You stopped you self a that thought. You never wanted to kill anything before, is it because of your fathers influence on you.

"May I... See your... Tickets please." A voice dry and low said as he walked down the Aisle.

Hello! Could I have a Muzan x child (around 4-5 years old) reader? Maybe a scenario where the 2 of them have to go visit their human family and the child doesn’t want to go because it’s boring or something like that! Maybe they throw a tantrum but then they still have to go!

You stormed off before he could catch you. Muzan was seizing with anger. He is in a constant battle with you to see his other family.

He doesn't like leaving you in the castle cause you cause a lot of trouble.

He followed you to your room where you slammed the door in his face. He had half a mind to break it down.

"Y/n come out. Now." He said sternly, you, however, gain interest in your mountain of toys that he spoils you with.

"I'll count to three. If you don't come out you'll be in big trouble."

Now this would be scary to any other demon but to you it's just one of his empty threats.

"One"

"Two" he grabbed the door nob.

"Three" the door swung open. He walked in and grabbed your shoes that were near the door and walked over to you.

You started to tear up. He's never been mean to you, it was clear to him in that moment that he was turning you into a brat.

He knelt in front you and started to put on your shoes. You started to kick and scream.

"My patience with you is gone. You are going weather you like it or not." He grabbed one of your legs and tried to put your shoe on.

"No its boring." You kicked the show off.

"How? You have a little sister to play with." He said between gritted teeth.

"Shes a crybaby." You continued to kick.

He was over it. He picked you up without your shoes on and walked out of the castle.

The demons who were lucky enough to watch the whole thing go down quickly got back to whatever they were doing when Muzan walked past.

Arriving at your other house your 'mother' ran up to you in worry.

"Oh dear, Y/n what wrong? Where are their shoes" She cooed while drying your tears.

You shoved you face into your fathers shoulder.

"They've been difficult today, they'll be fine once they take a nap."

A few weeks have pasts and you have been bounced around from Hashira to Hashira so the 12 kizuki won't find you and so far its worked.

You liked all of the Hashira but your favorite was Giyuu and Obanai. You liked how Giyuu didn't know how to take care of you so he let you do anything you wanted. Obanai hates you, you know that and love to 'bully' him.

For the next 2 weeks you will be with Rengoku. With Rengoku you felt like an actual child, it made you miss father even more.

currently the flamboyant (in in tengens words) Hashira was picking you up from the butterfly estate.

"Y/n, it's time to go." Rengoku called as you said goodbye to Shinobu who sent you off with a smile.

It sent chills up your spine.

The walk to Rengoku's house was mostly silent but you broke it with a question.

"It's been a while and I haven't even seen a demon do you think father doesn't care about me?"

His eyes widened as he thought of an appropriate answer (if they could). It was awkward to say the least.

'Probably should've stayed quiet.' You mentally groaned at the heavy silence.

"Your father strikes me as the strategic type, from what I've heard about him, he might be waiting for the right time. When your father does come for you..."

You drowned out his voice as you felt yourself tearing up. You missed your father, you missed the 12 kizuki. You'd run if you could but you didn't want to worry any of the hashira.

Well, that got your attention.

On the way to the train you go. Rengoku was good company, he never treated you any differently because you were a demon. In his eyes you were still a child.

Akaza had no idea how he was going to get you back and Doma wasn't helping in the slightest (obviously).

"So, Mr. screw-up how are you going to get back the little angel. Muzan seemed pretty pissed that you encouraged his on and only kid to go out and get captured." Doma snickered. He loved watching Akaza get mad especially if he was the reason.

"I DIDN'T 'encourage' THEM, THEY ASKED A QUESTION AND I ANSWERED. HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THEY WERE GOING TO ACTUALLY LEAVE."

Doma laughed at his outburst further angering Akaza to his boiling point. Akaza was mid jump before kokushibo caught him.

"You should focus on getting Y/n back not fighting."

He picked you up and examined the flower in your hands. He smiled, a smile that make you feel proud. There are very few times Muzan gives affection and right now is one of them.

It's been a year since then and you've been helping your father making demons stronger.

"Akaza, Do you think that I can go outside tomorrow? Father said that the day was mine." You asked excitedly as you bounced around the demon.

"Turn it in obviously we can't have muzan's child walking freely."

You heard voices that got louder as they approached you.

"Papa help please." You wimpered. You had no idea what could have happened to you.

"How on earth does my child get taken. Did any of you know where they were going or how they even get out?" He already knew the answer but he want them to say it.

"My apologies master. They asked to go outside but I never thought they would actually go." Akaza was sweating bullets just breathing in front of him right now. "I do whatever it takes to make it up to you."

"Then you, Akaza, will go get them. If even a hair on their head is out of place your punishment will be severe."
