sketchbook pages ( not in order)
I have finally arrived at my 8th sketchbook, this time I will take art more seriously, I only have so much time and wasting it, thinking I cannot achieve anything is pure poison to my productivity....
Bears simply one of the best animals ever.
--> I´ve never really drawn bears before, so I allowed myself to use reference.
I went with “the flow” on this one: That means I would not care about anatomy and proportions so much ( that doesnt mean that I dont apply any) it just means that I´ll try to get things to “look” right without measuring and looking at reference... --> figuring it out myself, cause thats the real challenge.
I feel like I´ve improved a bit but I can still spot so many things that I am not happy with.(should be a good thing right ?)
(originally done on paper) --> Tradigital
Doodling around... just felt like taking my sketches to the PC and redo the lineart as fast as I can, so I´d say it still is really sketchy
Sketch spamming :P
While some angles are really awkward, I really like this speed sketching
FINALLY finished my 2nd sketchbook :P well I was a fool, thinking I could make it in just a month ( it took me almost 2 MONTHS :P)
some sketches that I originally did on paper first, but I kinda liked it so I decided to trace it over in photoshop :P
even though I am drawing for like 4 months or so (well seriously drawing with the intention to learn and to get better) I don´t think I did much progress.... art or just sketching is such a big topic, one could get overwhelmed easily, you see at least I do know now it´s better to be frustrated about ones mistake than not even noticing it in the first place..
rough and rushed sketches without using reference ( should´ve though)
“fumbling in the dark” I had no Idea how to improve... still I dont think I made much progress in the last 2 months or so, but I got back on track and I´m wokring harder now ( learning from reference and I stopped trying to figure things out myself, which really helps )
messing around with poses,
I can spot so many mistakes by now :/
but IF YOU ARE NOT AT LEAST A BIT FRUSTRATED you are not doing it right
frankly speaking I am not a fan of anatomy and stuff, but since you get better at what youre doing no matter what ( so this time it´s me facing my lazyness) I hope to get better at NOT beeing so lazy :D
A quick observation, it`s not ment to be accurate, since I this is like the first human skull I´ve ever drawn :D
this page still looks empty :P
I think i´ve found an artstyle that I really do like.
-rough sketches just for practicing

I really rushed this one, precision is one thing but Its good if you are quick too, I used to be really ( REALLY) slow when sketching stuff cause I´d never let myself doing any mistakes, BUT thats so WRONG it is the MISTAKES that actually makes you better.
A time ago I thought copying other people´s artwork is a terrible idea, but I really like the artstyle of this, I heard really good artist copied a ton of stuff that they liked at a young age. It´s nice to have people to look up to.

I tried some foreshortening, really really rough sketches to introduce myself to it
besides sketching figures în weird manga style, I never really took the time to do realism, well If i were only to draw a nose I´d get it somehow right but not in a portrait :X
I know it´s important to be able to do some realism becaus like everything stylelized is based (at least the good ones) of reality
a contrast between artstyles
I actually draw like the right one most of the time :D
from my sketchbook
A rough character idea ( its not final)
