In this, probably, Lenore is just a normal person and she isn't cursed (no spectre yet that's why) they have no crowns as they were runaway Princesses who left their kingdoms for love. Probably lenores family cursed Anabel to literally not have a heart so that she will never love Lenore. But it didn't really work. She just has a massive hole in her chest which somehow she is surviving with magic.

Lenore would probably get the most along with calpernia, as they both are strong, Atletic women with their own traumas and adventures
Anabel would most likely not get along with anyone except Laverne (or maybe aurelia)and they would just judge people together

You know what else is crazy? I probably should've noticed this sooner but anyways...
Monty is probably freaked out by what happened in ch 120, because Will kissed him, died in his arms, and reappeared perfectly fine within like, 5 minutes.
BUT
I think one of the reasons he is most freaked out is maybe because Will was bleeding from his mouth, right? So when they kissed, and when Will's blood got on Monty's face, it also GOT IN HIS MOUTH.
Like, think about it. Monty can TASTE Will's blood from the kiss. And Will is now DEAD. That is his LAST remnant of Will.
THEN WILL SHOWS UP, NOT A SCRATCH ON HIM.
So obviously Monty's questioning everything because he can taste his DEAD friend's blood in his mouth AFTER THEY KISSED, and his friend just SHOWS UP completely HEALTHY.
And we've seen that the clone's blood doesn't melt into wax (at least not yet?) so Monty will just be walking around with Will, TASTING the reminder of Will's DEATH and their KISS.
It's morbidly romantic and i absolutely love it!

pov: how it feels to not be able to yap about nevermore bc my irl friends don’t read webtoon
So I've thought about it, and I think the reason some people hate the new Nevermore season is that they fall into the trap of thinking that "side" characters aren't supposed to be as fleshed out as main characters
Like no one complains when Lenore and Annabel get flashbacks, but that's because they're expected, even necessary since they're main characters. But, when perceived side characters start getting flashbacks, some people get angry
Also, no one complains when Annabel and Lenore get a ton of screen time, but when side characters get their moments in a SIDE CHARACTER DRIVEN ARC in a SIDE CHARACTER HEAVY STORY, some people get angry
The same people also like to blame the authors for this, when it is a problem of lack of care. The authors can not hold a gun to your head and make you care when they're actively giving you reasons to care? "They haven't given me a reason to care about them" well that's what they're currently doing so....
(one last point specifically abt Montresor, you can skip this part if it'll make you mad since Ik montresor is a controversial topic loll)
I think another problem is that people let their hatred for a character blind them to the depth of a character. I've seen people say that RnF have "forgotten" their characters because Montresor would never save Will because he hates him, which no?? Monty ain't a good person, he's a shitty little bastard, but he has a lot of depth as a character. What makes him so interesting is that no, he doesn't hate Will. No, he isn't always a terrible person on every single level. Yes, he does have a few redeeming qualities (however few). You can still hate him for what he's done/doing, which is entirely valid, but I don't think it's valid to portray as a one dimensional devil character who only exists to be a bitch and cause problems when he's sooooo much more than that (which still being a bitch).

Montressor has always cared for William.
I started to suspect it the first time.
That very inconsequential time when I thought the Clusterfucks were just a group of people using each other for convenient power plays. When Montressor showed up to Will's room and Lenore had a gun to his back.
It shouldn't have meant anything, it was just Montressor calling Will to go have lunch. Montressor should have easily ditched him and he left. However for some reason Montressor lingered.
(The fact that he recognised Will's toothbrush AND picked it up was crazy to me. Didn't fit the arrogant ruthless persona I imagined him to be).
When Will said he was praying for Montressor.....gave advice. And it's the way he said it. The way he said it damnit.
If he was just a casual atheist, he would have laughed and then left. But he lingered and he said ......something he believed with all his heart. And you can tell that he's not just saying it to mock Will's faith. He's saying something he feels he should have heard ages ago. Like a past anguish weighs heavy on his heart. And that is so interesting to me, because for someone who has denied his religion, Montressor carries that cross with him everywhere. 💀 Bro never takes that shit off! It's so delicious!! (I love religious trauma when it's written well)
Back to Will!
Montressor had no reason to come down here and save Will. It was one guy, probably the weakest member of their team. The most pathetic guy. The guy we all thought was just Montressor's door mat. Not only did Montressor detect that Will was in trouble, he came down in person to save him....and then got his ass handed to him. 💀 (It was a diabolical beat down.)
Pluto nearly shot him. Bro nearly died! 💀
Which brings me to another fun fact about Montressor (stay with me, stay with me here). Or....I guess check out the next post, I'm at a picture limit. 💀

AND duke calling Pluto minou (which means kitty in french) is SOOO TERRIBLY CUTEE AND pluto defending eulalie is so cutteee too🥺🥺
