Your gateway to endless inspiration
AN: Hey guys back again :D! I realized that there are a few moons I haven't wrote down for ideas yet. Especially the phases of the moon. I feel depending on the phases on the moons can also affect witch magic in CRK! So, these will feature moons and phases that can "stack" like buffs or debuffs the other magic types. Sprinkle Moon (Micromoon): For inspiration of this moon, micromoons are small full moons in our world. These moons in our world represent humility, balance, introspection and renewal. However, due to how small the moon is, it can represent looking at the "bigger picture". But due to the moon being so far away, there could be less power amplified so the witch would have to mostly rely on their own magic instead relying of the moon (a reflection of oneself). And due to the moon's light being farther away, I imagine shadow work and sigils of manifestation are quite effective.
Lollipop Moon (Super Moon): The largest moon represents the reveal of hidden potential, cosmic balance, and enhancing oneself. This moon, due to how much larger and closer it is to Earthbread; It's magic is much stronger than Sprinkle moons. Also because of its light being easier to witness allowing light magic to thrive during this time. Light magic in general or healing magic as well. This moon would also amplify visions and enhance the witch's psychic abilities. Having precognitive dreams or dreams of the future are much more common to occur on these moons. Cream Moon (Normal Moon): The moon represents emotion, the subconscious, reflection, and intuition. Dream magic or magics that require the subconscious thrive during this time. The opening of the subconscious and the inner mind is more accessible during this moon. The flow of magic from the moon is smooth like the very cream of the Cookieworld. The Cream moon is pure in all of its magic, heightening all magic equally. Full Cream Moon (Full Moon): The full moon represents completion, illumination, manifestation, and celebration. It's the most powerful of the lunar cycles and it's at its peak energy. Charing a witch's energy and magic is highly considered if they plan to make a powerful spell or do a powerful ritual. Waxing Croissant Cream Moon (Waxing Crescent Moon): This moon marks the beginning of building a witch's magic and taking small steps into their magic at hand. It's a sign of new beginnings and hope. This phase is helpful for beginning apprentices before becoming witches themselves! Beginning apprentices performing their magic feel a sense of resilience and triumph. Magic may be a bit hard to understand and learn but after the time, effort and the help of the Waxing Croissant Cream Moon; The growth of their magic will only grow stronger. Waning Croissant Cream Moon (Waning Crescent Moon): This phase is a time of rest, reflection and healing. After doing magic, it can be quite tiring. This is a time to recharge for all witches alike, beginning or veteran. The resilience of the Waning Croissant Cream moon helps with the recharging process. And if the witches use rock candy in their spells and rituals, this time would be a great time to recharge them. Waxing Cream Bun Moon (Waxing Gibbous moon): This certain phase of the moon represents refinement, growth and anticipation. This would be a time for meditation to refine one's magic as this phase is a powerful catalyst for such. The witch must have inner focus on completing tasks in order for the spell or ritual to be successful. The witch or witches may be excited for this prospect, but it is wise for any witch (beginner or a veteran) must require patience. This is also a great to refine one's spells, potions and magical artifacts. Waning Cream Bun Moon (Waning Gibbous moon): This is a powerful time of self-reflection and letting go of negative energy created by the witch's magic. This can be physical, mental or spiritual. If not, the negative energy will "cut" through one's magic and potentially stunt or worse, corrupting a witch's magical abilities. Especially witches whose magic relies heavily on their emotions. No matter how small of a spell, every spell creates negative output and energy.
Half Cream Moon (First Quarter Moon): Half Cream moons represent facing challenges, decision making, strength and determination. This phase helps a witch build power in their own magic. Of course, there will be challenges when it comes to perfecting spells, learning something new or self-doubt in their magic. However, this phase brings out the confidence of a witch in themselves and in their magic. The magical energy has risen, and a witch will feel energetic and excited about upcoming magic that they will create. Half Choco Moon (Last Quarter Moon): This phase is about self-discovery, wonder and releasing. Half Choco moons are often when an interest of magic to a witch is at its peak! Either they have seen veteran witches practice their magic or learning from outside sources. However, this also means letting go of anything that will hold that witch down; Either it be any limiting factors such as doubts, growth, emotional baggage for emotionally entuned witches and others as such. The witch must let themselves free to discover what they want and what magic is right for them! Choco Moon (New Moon): Choco moons represent new beginnings, fresh starts, and desires. This phase helps relax one's magic and refreshes it. This however makes the desires and passion in a witch to grow stronger by the day. Curiosity often fills the witch's mind during this time. It is also a pause from the hustle and bustle of magic for a witch. In turn, the witch gathers wisdom from their successful and unsuccessful spells, sigils, rituals and such!
I cant stop fucking thinking about that TikTok where it’s a group of people watching the opening to new moon and they just go:
“N... on.... oon... MOON... wmoon...
AND I CANT FUCKING FIND IT SOMEONE HELP
Edit: fixed the bad transcript of full moons from May to August.
A little witchy calendar to look forward to next year, since this one was a little bit.. cursed.
This lets you know about the full moons, new moons, wheel of the year celebrations and zodiac entrys, I hope you can use this to aid you on your practice.
I saw a post in December 2022 about how the person has been living to code and ways of “normal” society. It didn’t work for them. They then stated that 2023 is now going to be their “delusional” year. This moved my soul somehow. I decided to fully give in to the universe and the myriad of “coincidences” that have occurred over the years and years of looking into the mystic.
Tonight I did my first spell jar, picture above! I’ve done spells before, but I’ve never used ingredients nor created much in the physical to represent my spell, just scripting and intention. But I loved doing it. It felt natural to me and I can’t wait to do another one. I’m giving this seed chance to flourish over the next lunar cycle and I’m excited to experience the results.
Wishing all an intentional New Moon full of new ideas, inspiration and beginnings! 🌙✨
Okay, I finished reading New Moon and it’s official: I no longer hate Jacob.
I’m still Team Edward (sorry not sorry) but the book gave me a new insight into Jacob that the movie just lacked. I understand his motivations more thoroughly and I can appreciate that his actions stem from him having a lot going on in his life.
Controversial opinion: Although I do still believe that Edward’s actions are more often done with the pure intention of Bella’s wellbeing at heart and that Jacob’s actions are more often done with more selfish intentions.
Overall though, I can understand those who prefer Jacob, and I honestly think the fact that I don’t find Taylor Lautner attractive (but am VERY attracted to Robert Pattinson) played a larger role than I thought in my initial opinion on Jacob.
I’m reading New Moon and I cannot get over Stephenie Meyer’s descriptions of Emily 😭
« neither half of her once-beautiful face was friendly »
« kissing Emily’s ruined mouth »
And she keeps going on like this! Page after page of Emily insults. Like goddamn I get it she has a scar, give the girl a break already!
Justice for Emily and her beautiful face ✊
Just finished reading Twilight for the first time! Time to read New Moon! Yay! 😀
Yup.
Happy new moon, mother-fuckers! Get those candles and whatever else out, my fellow witches, and manifest!!!
Cut out stuff you don’t need anymore!!
Welcome in the new!!!!
🎉

shared gen z and young millennial culture is going through a twilight phase, whether it was a hate phase or love phase
I heard this song first when I was the biggest fan of Twilight.
I mean who wouldn’t be? It was played in the background when Edward proposed Bella for marriage.
Don’t get me wrong, but it was dreamy at that time!
Though at that time, I listened this song just for the sake it being in the playlist of Twilight’s Song List.
But as the time has passed, this song makes more sense (or at least to me).
I can understand this song in a better way, and can absorb the lyrics too.
Besides, it has the voice of Sia, so you know what you’re getting into.
Please do let me know, what are your thoughts about this song✌🏾

04.09.2023
I went to the doctor's today to get some new meds because the ones I've been taking weren't doing the job. So now I'm on antibiotics and I really hope that'll finally do the trick.
Because I'm still not feeling too great I took it slow again today. I got some more paperwork done in the morning and made a to-do list of what I have to get done within the next week or so. Sometimes I feel bad if all I do in a day is planning, but I always try to remember that planning your tasks takes a huge mental load off of you. Taking a whole day to plan things out is still productive.
The second half of my day has been taken up by great media again. I played some more Lakeburg Legacies and I'm loving it (even though I think I'm failing at it pretty hard). I also managed to get some pages of Swimming in the Dark in. I'm nearly done, only got like 25 pages left. I wanted that book to be my summer read but I had such a dip in energy in late August I just didn't get around to it. But I guess finishing it in early Seprember might still count as a summer read. I wraped the day up by watching New Moon. Probably my least favourite movie from the Twilight-saga, but what can I say? It's the season for Twilight. Also the soundtracks of these movies are so good it's criminal.
Despite having been sick the past couple of days it still feels like I'm managing to be myself more again. I'm very relieved about that. It's weird to explain, but I'm way more interested in doing things I love again, especially writing. Maybe I'll try to do some of that tomorrow. This might also be the perfect opportunity to give my diary some love again. I started it at the beginning of the year but only used it a couple of times...
Positive things I did today:
got paper work done
went to the doctor's office and got new meds
planned tasks
did things I love
Hours slept: ~9hrs 30mins Screentime: ~4hrs Steps taken: ~600
Reminder: The moon is watching
You are not alone
