New Original Character - Blog Posts

I drew these two. Their names are Rick (left) and Orpheus (right). They’re both humans (sorta) but with lynx and bobcat like features.

I sorta based Rick off of bestosunglass’s Willie Nelson human design a bit (lowkey w design frfr) and Legoshi from Beastars. He’s very chill and mature and responsible.

Orpheus, I took a bit of inspiration from Otto from the Simpsons and witnessing the vibes of behind the scenes tech team at my church (also Orpheus from Hadestown because that musical is so good omg) He’s Rick’s younger brother who plays keyboard in a band. I was thinking of giving him a tragic backstory and maybe changing his design a bit idk

Original Character- Winnifred

I took some inspiration from the White Rabbit from Alice In Wonderland for the vibes. I liked the vibes he gave off. Winnifred’s not a rabbit, though, he’s a hare. I added playing card patterns into his design. I wanted to give off Alice In Wonderland vibes, Greatest Showman, vintage Disney, Fantasia, and playing card vibes into his design.

His hair poofs up into a bit of a Hugh Jackman look with sideburns when he’s surprised or shocked. He’s a bit shy and timid, but kindhearted. He has different monocles he wears, he plays the fiddle sometimes, and his favorite plant is a clover weed. I feel like his voice would sound a bit like Quagmire, but if he had a soft British voice. I lowkey love Winnifred’s design. Also, for once I made him anthro.

New Original Characters- Brian, Nehvmal, and an unnamed one

I wanted to make their designs pretty simple, so that’s what I did. Brian is pretty weird but in a cool way, he’s autistic and is literally me. Nehvmal is the shortest and always grumpy. The unnamed character was made so that I could draw him on my schoolwork, we have colored paper sometimes, so he changes colors sometimes, but not a lot. His main colors are white or light green. He’s the smart one

Original Character- Anomaly

This character’s name is Anomaly, meaning ‘something different, abnormal, peculiar, not easily classified’, which is exactly what he is.

He’s supposedly one of my other “creepy/mysterious” characters, which is true. He doesn’t speak (at least, not to my knowledge), he is described as having the teeth of a predator, the arms of a bear, the feet of an eagle, and the horns of a blackbuck.

He is by far probably one of my creepiest characters ever, and I like him. I consider him, if he ever does talk, to talk like Garfield. Just thinking, and nobody can hear him. Like another one of my Oc’s The Bear (pictured below ⬇️ )

The only few things they have in common are that they think and are creepy. I’d probably compare Anomaly to The Lich, Aku, and traditional art of Chinese dragons. Which explains why he’s so long lmao.

Original Character- King Lucius Remington (The Rat King)

I know I’m probably not the first person to come up with a rat king who’s a literal rat king, but I made a rat king oc. I feel like his voice claim would be Tim Curry or smth. He gives off those vibes. He also gives off Ratigan vibes frfr. He has a few rats tied to his tail that are asleep and act like an ensemble choir and sleep talk sometimes.

He’s a serial killer bear who lives in the woods. He’s silent but deadly and his eyes turn a light shade of red when he’s going psycho.

Original Character- Robyn

I came up with the idea for this character a while back. It was until very recently that I finally came up with him. His name is Robyn, he is a court jester and his voice claim is Robin Williams (I just had to). He is smooth talking, flamboyant, a bit extroverted, and sarcastic Honduran white bat and Australian ghost bat mix with a bit of fruit bat in there.

He is one of my only oc’s that doesn’t have a (very tragic) backstory. He was experimented on in a biology lab and is poor. The few friends that Robyn had nickname him Batty. He has always wanted to be a jester, and one day he got the job to be the court jester under the royal family. He has a brother named Jamal. I made Robyn a bat cause (you get a veteran’s pass if you already knew this) Robin Williams voiced a bat (specifically a fruit bat) named Batty who was also experimented on in a lab.

For his outfit, I really tried to do research for once and wanted the outfit to be a mix of traditional jester outfits and modern jester outfits. Idk if I nailed it, but ok. Overall, I like him and I think he’s neat.

Original Character- Sylvester

This is Sylvester. His voice claim is Micheal Bublé. He plays piano at a 1930s and 1920s themed bar. He likes playing poker at the bar, singing, dancing, and playing games such as chess.

Original Character-Wacky Jackal

I came up with this character the same way I came up with Veflix. He was going to be one of the characters for a cartoon me and my sister we’re gonna make, but we dropped the project. So, I kept only 2 characters, Veflix and Wacky Jackal. His name was originally Wacky Wolf, but I changed it. His old design was basically like a purple version of Wile E. Coyote. But I changed it, and gave him a backstory. He was born in an insane asylum, and his mom tried to eat him. He joined a gang in his teen years, and found a passion for explosives. He went to jail and escaped, when he escaped, he blew up the insane asylum he was born in, and now he’s just going from place to place, doing whatever he wants while running from the law.

Original Character-Confetti

This character is a character I came up with recently. Their name is Confetti, and they are best friends with Abnus (another one of my oc’s). They have a candle on top of their head, in which how bright or big the flame of the candle is, dictates their emotions.

Unamed New Character

So, this guy is a new character, and his name will be decided soon. He is a possum who I loosely based off of Beetlejuice (as you might tell). He has a deep Boston accent with a lisp, and I don’t have a voice claim for him because I voice him, just like Abnus. So, yeah…I hope you guys like him, I guess…

Original Character-Cheshire Time

I came up with Cheshire Time in February (1st drawing I ever made of him is the 2nd image shown above). I kinda based him of the Cheshire Cat (hence his name) and he is the embodiment of time. He has a clock attached to his hat, and on the rim of the clock is a giant gold cog with each of the numbers on a normal clock being there. Whenever he spins the cog, he can go backwards or forwards in time. My voice claim for him is Bryce Pinkham (voice of Stolas in Helluva Boss) in Holiday Inn. As a disguise, he can turn into a cat or a cat clock. He sometimes carries a cane and he always has a pocket watch on him. I was thinking about making him a rival that is a dog that is the embodiment (or controls) space, but I’m not sure. :/

Original Character-Abnus

I’ve been having this character since a couple years back. I had a voice impression, and I wanted to make a character for that voice. Abnus’s voice is basically my voice but higher pitched. He is an ermine (a type of weasel) who is also a demon. He takes people’s souls, and takes their soul to Hell. He is that type of character that tricks people into thinking they’re nice and all that, but are actually evil. He does that to get people’s souls.

Original Character-Veflix

I came up with this character in 2020. His name is Veflix, and he is a ✨fancy british cat thing. ✨During the pandemic, me and my sibling thought that we should make a cartoon . The cartoon was about a group of villains who did random things, and he was the main character. The show didn’t work out, and I abandoned most of the characters except two of them. To be honest, in my mind, he sounds like Ralph Fiennes.😂The first drawing that is shown is a comparison to a drawing I made in 2021, and a drawing that I made recently. The second one is just a random drawing I made because I was bored. He was probably my first OC I ever made, and he is probably my favorite one.
