It was very surreal to hear Mark's voice say things she could never imagine him saying. This all felt like some very weird nightmare to her, and there was so much happening she barely had the time to sit and process what was happening.

It seemed like he was pushing each button possible, to try and get her distracted. The comment regarding Rex did make her stomach drop for a moment. "So I'm guessing the me from your world rejected you, right?" Now was not the time to poke, but she was curious what his vendetta against her was all about. So of course she went for the pettiest possibility.

When she saw him dart towards her, she braced for potential impact and it was rough. The orb shield shattered into several pieces, while the force he brought sent her back. Quickly she made sure to use her powers to at least catch herself to not fall to the ground at least.

Thinking more quick and less strategic in the moment, she went to the water idea that had crossed her mind. Her focus was slightly off, she still was adjusting herself from the impact and only was really buying time at the moment. She decided that an average in-ground pool's amount of water would be a decent amount, especially if she had it at cooler temperatures. So to potentially buy herself time, she altered the atoms above Mark to become a large amount of freezing water to then fall on him.

"Unless you also have my powers, you aren't going to win this fight." She warned, albeit it was a bold statement to say but she did not see this ending well any other way.

♚ ‒ her powers are so fucking annoying. mark isn't even tired or worn out, he's just pissed off that this woman isn't mush on the concrete yet. he killed her on his world, he'll do it again on this one.

BOOM! air and matter explode behind him, red cape flaps audibly against the wind as he charges at her orb with all the power he can muster, his right fist extending forward to deliver a powerful blow.

"I'm glad we're on the same page for once." Eve quipped, still her defenses stayed up and she fully planned to continue to fight despite his words. She first sent a few blasts of energy his way in attempt to weekend him, or at the very least keep him busy for a moment.

In the time she had to take a heavy breath, she formed a shield around herself, her in the center of a pink transparent sphere. "Hope you don't mind my...precautions." Eve was already trying to plan her next move just in case, possibly having to get a bit more creative in her attacks back and maybe dump him in some water?
