has doey ever lashed out at lucas or bella?
Yes… though it’s never gotten physical.
While he mostly has a control on all the chunks of the boys floating around in there, on days that are particularly tiring or stressful he can lose his grip. Before Bella and Lucas this is when he would pick a corner of the room and mope in monster form (putting all focus on reigning things back in) but he is not allowed to do that anymore! You know how it feels when multiple people are talking to you or around you, feeling like you can’t hear your own thoughts… that but it starts smothering his feelings, jerking his insides around at random. They also tend to amplify how he is already feeling, concentrating it. Things become more vivid, every feeling, thought, mental image. It’s something he has to grit his teeth and try to ride out, using as much energy as possible to keep the turmoil inside. This is before Doey fully understands how he was made so he is not only being bombarded with these thoughts and feelings, but they all add up to something incoherent. Frequently contradicting each other, flashbacks for things he has, hasn’t, has, experienced as his mind tries to stitch together a coherent story. It makes it hard to know what is actually happening in the now, to those on the outside he isn’t fully there. I think Anger/Upset comes up frequently both from the stress of trying to just think, alongside the fact those are very very nuanced emotions that are built out of a lot of emotions at once that all sorta combine into yelling.
Bella and Lucas are somewhat used to Doey having energy swings (moments where he is quiet and tired and moments where he is very very enthusiastic and the such) but this is an entirely different beast. By the time either of them actually saw a proper moment(tm) they had grown fairly comfortable with him, and this was a scary awful thing. My guess is that it was probably Bella who saw it, sometime soon after Kip passed and his cork just popped. It was a lot of sobbing before he nearly smashed her with a fist. He was yelling a lot of stuff that didn’t make a lot of sense to her but he almost immediately retreated to the other side of the room after the fact. I think things were hard and scary for the rest of that day, but they figured it out soon after. They really didn’t have much choice but to figure it out, considering the situation. Still, took a bit for her to get a sense for them and how to deal with them (staying out of the way).
Lucas figured it out much faster, he is used to dealing with tantrums (he doesn’t remember why). The longest one of these outbursts has lasted with a critter around is maybe an hour and a half. If left to ride it out at most Doey will start muttering to himself thankfully!
Where have you buried all the children?
"Oh my god." The kid muttered, pacing back and forth in front of the summoning circle anxiously as he clutched some old book to his chest, "Oh my god, I just killed Nightwing."
"Uh," Nightwind started to speak, but didn't get far.
"Oh my god, my dad is Nightwing!"
"Wait, what?!"
That seemed to catch the boys attention and...yeah the kid looked a lot like he did as a teen. "I, uh" The kid rubbed the back of his neck nervously, "I'm kinda your clone. My parents made me and told me recently about how I was born and I wanted to meet you!"
He threw his hands up in the air, one hand still clasping the book, "They told me you were dead, so I tried to summon your ghost! I swear I didn't know!" This seemed to switch him back into whatever spiral ge was in before, "Oh god, I killed my own father."
Dick hurried to speak before he lost the chance again, "I'm probably still alive."
"Huh?" The kid looked over at him, a hint of hope in his features
"Yeah," Nightwing shrugged, "some other bats were with me. They're trained to keep my vitals up until they can get me back to the cave. Plus, I felt my soul pulled out of my body by force. I don't think you actually stopped anything from functioning."
The kid sagged with relief, "So batman isn't going to murder me?"
An odd sound came from within the summoning circle as Nightwing covered his mouth
"Are you laughing at me?! I'm being serious!"
This time, the vigilante made no move to hide his laughter, "We don't kill kiddo, besides he probably won't maul his own grandkid, right?"
Unfortunately this gave the kid something new to spiral over, "Oh god, my grandpa is Batman."
"How about we start over?" The bluebird asked, "I'm Nightwing, what's your name?"
"Um, Danny. Danny Fenton."
Dick gave an award winning smile, "Nice to meet you, Danny. Could you break the circle so I can get out?"

As we know Charolette was the second to fall, due to Chara being buried underneath the buttercups and Charolette being sealed away and given to the king she had no one to talk to, she was stuck by herself for the longest time.
She would spend most of her time crying. Wishing she didn't die, wondering why this happened to her, what she did wrong. She'd ask herself that all the time.
She was incredibly lonely, often mumbling to herself to give the vibe that she was having a conversation with someone. She just wanted a friend, a friend she could relate to. She couldn't find that in Harry because he was...well Harry. Though when he fell she made herself toughen up so she could care for them, so she could make sure they were safe. She became the therapist of the group along with Clover.
Because of her growing attached to the other kids she grew protective of them as well. Especially Clover and Apricot considering she got along with them the most.
She wouldn't defend herself but if you disrespected those two in any way she'd silently glare at you.
Anyways that's all! I figured I haven't said anything about her in a long while so here she is!
Misc Inez doodles!!!! I made these while listening to songs that I thought fit them, specifically "I am your leader" by Tikkle me. They're uh, an interesting creature!!!
I definitely fleshed out their bishop/divine form more here. I like how it looks!!! :) They begin transforming soon into their vesselhood, but they look normal in some of these photos with Narinder in them because I was lazyyyy
