A long, long time ago, somewhere in the South Blue.....
Killer was a stoic, massacring badass, no quarter given and deadly enough to be hailed as one of the top in the worst generation. So much so, the Marines had to write 'Captain' on Kidd's poster just to clear up confusion on which of the two was the more dangerous.

we only got halfway there.
last month, when glancing over the list, this prompt grabbed my attention, and i drew this sketch. After that, i could not get the idea out of my head, and then the sketches just didn't stop.
Chapter one of F!Killer story - titled Gunpowder, Gelatin; Dynamite with a Laser Beam (from Killer Queen - BY Queen) is now also up on A03, with a plan for at least one sketch a chapter. please mind the rating and warnings; it's not a story for everyone.

i haven't drawn a horse in yeeeeeeears XD I usually draw him with a truck instead.

Personally i think Kidd is closer to a boar, but oda says fighting bull so i wanted to play with that. Then, I went more local to me- Kidd as an American Bison and Killer as the largest n.american weasel- the wolverine (albino version)

Day 6 - Feast
Sharing a meal.
this was my third attempt for this prompt. I was trying to draw something cute!!! I promise! But the cropped hair just stirred something in my soul and I had to go a different direction with it.
Personally, I'm torn on when Killer's arm actually got messed up. Part of me headcanon's it from back when the four were all still rivals - and Heat messed his arm up (and he messed Heat's face up). The other part thinks it happened during the Kidd Pirates confrontation with Big Mom's Sweet Generals.
For this image, we're going with the latter.

Day 5 Card Games
Our Kings of Hearts
The first idea was to draw each of the 4 commanders as a King card but i couldn't nail down who fit which suite best. Or couldn't convince myself to have Kidd not as one of the red cards XD My wife suggested the compromise of our dear partners sharing the Hearts card.
Traditionally, the King of Hearts is shown with a sword over his head, giving him the nickname "suicide king." Interestingly, this is the only king with no moustache.

Since we're going AU, I used the Stampede Movie colours for the boys, and Victoria's clothes are inspired by Bulma from Dragon Ball: The Path to Power (1996)

A collection of Non-linear Kidd & Killer vignettes using Pocket Jack's KiKi-tober Prompt list - imagining their pre-canon backstory, based on the crumbs given in the SBS.
Story ranges from them as small children all the way to the aftermath of Wano
Art included with each chapter (minus the bonus ones) First "Chapter" also includes a chronological order as well, but it may not read as smoothly.
This is a story that ranges in it's themes and ratings from chapter to chapter but is VERY MUCH AN ADULT STORY.

So... Could we talk about volume 94 for a sec?
Like, first oh all, Eiichiro Oda, how dare you. I've been crying for an entire day about characters that I swore I wouldn't care about.
So: Here we are at the beginning of the chapter, where there's the explanation of why SMILEs are bad etc. etc. etc. AND I'M ALREADY BAWLING MY EYES OUT.
Then the narrative switches to Luffy being chaotic on main, I thought I was gonna have fun, but no. Those two come in.
A classic. Kidd's *angy* and Kamazo's laughing like the maniac that he is-
Oh wait.
What if he... isn't a maiac...but is in fact a SMILE eater?
That would make sense, but why would Kaido not keep this man with him? Is he a native from Wano, from the poor district?
Then Kidd, who I read went back to prison with Kamazo without making too much of a fight (which is already fucking suspicious) decides to speak.
And. I. Start. Crying.
He starts talking about the crew and "WHERE THE FUCK ARE THEY?" and Killer can't stop laughing because he literally c a n ' t express any other emotion anymore and I CRY SO HARD.
In each and every scene Killer keeps laughing and laughing, and the more he does that the more I realize that he's doing that instead of crying and I feel bad about not caring more about the Kidd Pirates-
Like...look at them.
They look so broken.
