hc that jang hayoung is trans because han sooyoung originally wrote her as a guy, but since od wanted jhy to be a girl in the first place, he imagined her has a girl in his day dreams as well. he basically headcannoned jang hayoung into being trans... (important distinction is that he did not headcannon her as trans, but jhy developed feelings of not being a boy herself due to kdj's influence on the universe 😭 i do not think kim dokja would have a clue of trans people or the lgbt community pre scenarios)

I can't believe I decided to read orv on a whim because I just wanted a good manhwa with no romance subplot and here I am knees deep into the novel questioning my whole life because whatever these mfs have got going on is much more nastier and visceral than any romance
i think ysa missed dokja the most in the epilogues after yoohan. their main bond that formed during and because of their ordinary lives before the scenarios, all of that erased and filtered out from him…… the guy sitting in the closet while you poured black pepper in the company's coffee machine is gone. you are alone with your memories and no one else remembers the things you did at work when you were at your worst. you turn around to glance at the past once again only to find that theres no one there anymore.
some times i wish i knew someone irl that just finished reading orv but was confused about the timeline and events just so i could whip out a giant whiteboard and explain to them (using my drawn out visuals) the entire plot, characters and theories involved in order to understand the story better

genuinely cant stop thinking about that doksoo post by the way. what if you met this guy and he was everything you wanted in a reader. he treasured that webnovel the way you were desperate for but he never liked yours. and then youre thrown together by circumstance and you fall in love with him and he promises to read your work every single chapter and then he gives you 49% of himself and doesnt even include the part that loves reading. and then you discover that when you split yourself in two, yeah that other part of yourself? she loved him too. she loved him so much she wrote for him for thirteen years and that work you were so jealous of was your own and it was that quest that even made you a writer and every single part of yourself seems to come back to loving him. what would you even do
if i have one purpose on this earth it is to push the doksoo agenda look guys i was there. i was reading the joonghyuk fics i was nodding along when they called han sooyoung the lesbian best friend but ive grown ive matured and so can you. take my hand. think about the kaizenix arc with me. remember 1863rd han sooyoungs devotion. and we can walk into a beautiful sunset together <3
KDJ's constellations were internet friends who said 'we should start a band when we meet up irl' and then they did and it worked. unfortunately SP left the friend group early to settle down and have a child 😔 but it's probably for the best he can't sing anyway

cue that one scene where kdj mentions that everytime yjh craves and eats dumplings in twsa he gets some for himself from the convenience store as well
do you think that kdj's past (od's future) happened because od imagined kdj's life to be like that? failing school, getting into a third rate college, eventually going to the military... because he never believed he could have a decent, happier life in "reality". that even his best self could live only during the scenarios, never in the mundanity of a normal, non-apocalyptic world.
you know what else is so heartbreaking about orv tonight? 1863, its so painful that the arc that kim dokja almost leaves "his" han sooyoung and yoo joonghyuk for is the arc that they are at their worst. Han sooyoung is sacrificing the entire line for a chance at a better version and yoo joonghyuk has no one and is so deep in his depression that he actually is making steps to permanently kill himself.
Imagine being either of them from 1864 and learning that he almost left you for the parts of yourself that you've been trying to get rid of, Imagine learning that it is all of you that he is dedicated to and maybe the ways that you've split yourself makes you less than what he wants.
Imagine looking at less of him and realizing the same is true for you.
rereading early orv is like. wow kdj is so detached from the rest of his companions. he still believes ysa's close to him because she's nice to everyone and he counts as everyone. he still talks about the end of the scenarios as if he expects a peaceful, happy ending to this story because he hasn't planned it out yet. he still judges yjh as if he were only a character he would utilize to get to that end. and every time i feel uncomfortable reading kdj be so heartless i remember that he hates himself exactly because of this in the later scenarios

Imma be real with you fam, I can’t fucking stand Isekai anime and have dropped off most of the manhwa I’ve read because of how boring they were, but I started reading Orv solely for joongdok (I mean I stopped reading it after I felt I read enough to read the fanfics, but that’s neither here or there)
you know I wouldn't recommend orv to anyone. it's a very specific taste. you need to already be into some shitty mass produced isekai or regressor manhwa to really GET IT and what it's all about
And you need to find it by googling "manhwa similar to Solo Leveling to read after" or "top 30 best regression mangas" where it's a solid 25th and then you click on it bleary eyed not expecting anything but another shitty story. but then it's actually good and everything orv is
This is the way the authors intended it to be read and the objective correct way to do it. a canon event if you will I wouldn't dare intervene with the orv fan life cycle

hmm orv au where gamer yjh fans vaguely spot kdj in the background and try to track him across social media.
they discover that he only exists on the internet across a bunch of random videos, almost ALL from famous celebrities and influencers. Everyone who knows someone can't figure out who this man is irl. But he has a nice voice and all his acquaintances seem to be some degree of obsessed with him.

What kind of constellation..? But I'm alright, thank you. I used to struggle with sleeping a lot, but I don't really have good advice since I'd just read until I fell asleep, which probably isn't that healthy. I've heard exercise helps with falling asleep better, but I wouldn't know. And it's alright, I guess all constellations probably had their weird first moments interacting with an incarnation.
