havent posted about pcpr in a while but heres your reminder that vang0 is smart!!! hes just not people smart!!!!!

him and burger are like opposites bc generally burger is such a himbo he is very good with people but not at all intelligent and vang0 is super good at computers and has a high intelligence but just cant understand other people

if i may be so bold as to add commentary outside of tags-

vang0’s sweater was supposed to feature him holding up his hand symbol. it closer resembles... a fleshy blob with a mustache, but if anyone asks him, it’s “modern art. you-you wouldn’t understand” and accompanied almost every time by a scoff.

dasha’s was, in theory, going to be her pistols. instead it just has a big square of yellow yarn in the middle. she tells burger it looks just like them, and awkwardly slots them together to form a vaguely rectangular shape. he’s thrilled by this.

(they team up to make him a sweater; dasha acquires the supplies and vang0 learns to knit in order to make it. it is an equally unrecognizable mismash of colors that they explain sheepishly was supposed to be-

“a burger!” burger chainz exclaims, and hugs it tight to his chest. to this day dasha still has no fucking clue how he managed to figure it out.)

lately I have been thinking of a bunch of different characters crocheting because haha I do that

and now I am thinking about Burger Chainz making Dasha and Vang0 sweaters that look... kinda bad

but they both wear them anyways because Burger made them so they have to and they can’t let BURGER know they’re not actually that good, it’ll make him sad

Hello, citizens of Night City! It seems people are interested in joining a PCPR Mini Big Bang, and so it’s happening! Read on for the details

What is a Mini Big Bang?

A Mini Big Bang is a smaller version of a fandom event known as a Big Bang. A Big Bang is a fandom event where writers and artists collaborate. during this event, writers will write a fanfic while artists create art to accompany this fanfic. on a specific deadline day, all the works will be posted, resulting in a “bang” of content. a Mini Big Bang is basically a Big Bang, but with a smaller minimum wordcount. The PCPR Mini Big Bang’s minimum fic wordcount will be 3k words.

hi im avian or reptilianraven on ao3 and im interested in organizing a mini big bang challenge for the pcpr fandom!

what is a Mini Big Bang?

a Mini Big Bang is a smaller version of the fandom event known as a Big Bang. a Big Bang is a fandom event where writers and artists collaborate. during this event, writers will write a fanfic while artists create art to accompany this fanfic. on a specific deadline day, all the works will be posted, resulting in a “bang” of content. a Mini Bang is basically a Big Bang, but with a smaller minimum wordcount.

what is the minimum wordcount?

this is negotiable, depending on the fanfic writers who are interested in participating. im setting the placeholder minimum wordcount as 3k, but if you are interested in participating in an event like this and this wordcount is daunting for you, drop your preferred wordcount in the replies!

what is the schedule of this event?

im not sure yet, but my placeholder event duration is three months. again, if you are interested but this timeframe is daunting to you, feel free to leave your suggestions in the replies!

how will writer/artist pairings work?

in the beginning week of the event, i will post writer sign ups. this sign up will include basic information like tumblr username, ao3 username, the basic gist of your fic. you do not have to have your fic already written, at the sign up portion. just have a basic idea of what you’re going to write. at this same time, i will open artist sign ups with the same ish information stuffs. 

around one month into event, writers will be required to submit a synopsis/summary of their fanfic. these summaries will be posted anonymously, and artists who signed up will have the opportunity to claim a fic to make art for on a first come first serve basis. 

from here on out, writers and their paired artists can communicate and work together

again, this is all still theoretical. im basing this off of previous bang events i have participated in, so if you have any suggestions, drop them in the comments.

ok blazing hot take here BUT actually the best part of the cyberpunk reds is the beginning of ring box one, when burger texts the group chat ‘you want in?” and vang0 is like ‘k.’ and dasha keeps being like “in? IN? IN? IN? IN?” i’m obsessed w the image of her leaning out her apartment window looking down at the van and the boyz and being six feet tall all in black yelling “In? IN?? IN??”

so uh. i was reading through gotta get to the bottom of this by hemlock_sunset on ao3, which is a fantastic fic and i love it very much, and i was gonna do something normal like comment but instead... i drew this??? because i am a sucker for strong imagery apparently??? and they did the most recent chapter in entirely coding/fragmented thoughts and gahh i love it

took me an hour and a half, on ibispaint x on my phone. used a pose tool called easyposer.

in celebration of the glorious new part of the polygon cyberpunk series, heres the lady that holds all of their brain cells

work of fiction about the end of the world and how everyones deepest fears will destroy them and you all are posting about a thotty kayaking guy and making the equivalent of rickrolls. realplay rpg campaign with a literal guy named burger and you are all writing 100k words about what if they were kidnapped and tortured and what if they all had amnesia and they are all evil secretly. they go on a road trip, and burger films vang0 and dasha’s reactions to various things. trees, for instance. fields of real grass, not just artificial. dasha pretends she is very unbothered and that she’s seen all of these things a million times before but her attempts to climb trees in high heels prove she is lying. 

burger has to try and catch her and the rest of the video is a screen full of grass (where he’d dropped the phone,) a loud “ooOMPH,” and a poor attempt at an unruffled “see? I can climb a tree,” with some 2045-era country music playing in the background

lately i’ve been thinking about the cybergang having a shared tik tok account and it’s just the best thing to think about when i’m sad
