As the Sharkmaids draw closer to the odd creatures they soon increased 3 times their own size One believes it is a form of attack and assumes combat position, while the other believes it to be silly and cute. In reality though this is my friend Lightflower and her sister Marmalade in the shark-suits from Unison League Welp this weeks Live stream was a great success and to those that didn't see it. Sudden Embrace

Summary: ___ helped out Puffer while he was live streaming. She had noticed that he forgot to grab a wire to his setup, particularly a wire that would enhance his streaming quality. With a smile on her face, she grabbed the wire and headed toward Puffer’s streaming room.

As I walked into the room, the glow of his streaming setup bathed everything in a warm, soft light. Puffer was sitting in his gaming chair, fully immersed in his stream, but the moment I entered, I noticed his focus shift towards me. My heart fluttered at the sight of him, headphones snugly in place and a playful grin spreading across his face as he caught my eyes.

“Hey! Perfect timing!” he exclaimed, his voice laced with excitement. I held up the wire I had brought for him, a simple task that suddenly felt monumental at this moment.

As I approached, he suddenly pushed away from his desk, standing to greet me. The next thing I knew, he had enveloped me in a warm hug, his arms wrapping tightly around my waist. I could feel the familiar comfort of him, the scent of his cologne melting into mine. “You smell like me… oh god, it’s driving me crazy,” he mumbled into my hair, his voice low and playful, sending a rush of heat to my cheeks.

I couldn’t help but smile against his shoulder, my heart racing a thousand beats per minute. The way he pulled me closer felt as if he wanted the world to melt away, just the two of us in our own little bubble. With my heart fluttering, I could feel the heat radiating from his body, and I nuzzled into him, my own arms wrapping around his neck.

He leaned down then, his warm breath tickling my skin as he pressed a gentle forehead kiss against me—simple, yet electrifying. My cheeks were probably brighter than a cherry now, and I could feel the warmth seep into my very core. “You’re so cute when you blush like that,” he teased softly, pulling away just enough to look into my eyes.

I couldn’t help but laugh, leaning in to give him a quick peck on the lips. “And you’re impossible,” I replied, narrowing my eyes playfully. But deep down, I loved this side of him—the silly, flustered boy who could charm the world with just a smile.

He chuckled, his own cheeks tinged pink, and pulled me back into another hug. It felt like we had stepped away from the hectic world of streaming, surrounded by wires and screens, and were simply just Puffer and me—two souls intertwined in our own little sanctuary.

“Now, if you'll excuse me,” he said, slightly pulling back, “I have to entertain the masses, but I think I’ll be thinking about you the whole time.”

I watched as he settled back into his chair, the streamer persona taking over, but I could still see the spark of warmth in his eyes. And for a moment, amidst the glowing screens and endless chatter from his stream, I felt like the luckiest person in the world.

Chris was in rare form that night.

Stream energy was chaotic. Pezzy was popping off in-game, Droid was making terrible jokes, Grizzy was laughing so hard he was choking, and Chris was in a full-on argument with chat.

“NO, I did not throw! Pezzy literally body-blocked me! ROLL THE CLIP—someone roll the clip, I swear to God—”

“Bro, you’re tweaking,” Droid muttered. “You walked into the grenade.”

Chris scoffed. “I did NOT walk into the—”

The door creaked open.

“Hey, Chris?”

He turned, mid-rant—and froze.

You stood there, holding a takeout bag and an iced drink in one hand, your other balancing a couple extra napkins and sauces. You wore comfy joggers and a hoodie, hair clipped back with a little bow that made you look unfairly adorable.

You smiled. “I brought you food. Hope you’re not too busy screaming to eat?”

Chris blinked. Once. Twice.

Nothing came out of his mouth.

Your brow quirked. “I… got your usual. Fries, extra sauce, and that strawberry lemonade you pretend you hate but drink in five seconds?”

Still no response.

On his screen, his face was full-cam—and the silence was deafening.

“HELLO??”

“LMAOO HE’S IN LOVE”

“THE BOW? SHE HAS A BOW? oh he’s DONE”

“Chris.exe has crashed.”

“No way he forgot how to TALK”

“Tell her she’s pretty you coward”

You chuckled, completely unfazed. “Do you want napkins? Or did you decide to live dangerously today?”

“I—uh—I… nap… sauce—wait, yes. Napkins. You—I mean—” He cleared his throat. “The napkins. Are good. Thank you. Very napkin. Wow.”

From the other room, a wheeze echoed.

“Yo.” Droid’s voice came through Chris’s headset. “She broke him. He’s done.”

“I thought he only got like this when we mention sushi,” Pezzy added with a laugh.

Chris shot a glare at his monitor. “SHUT UP.”

But his chat was already spiraling.

“Very napkin. Iconic.”

“CLIP IT. CLIP IT. CLIP IT.”

“That’s Pezzy’s sister, isn’t it? OHHHHH”

“Chris in love challenge: failed instantly”

You smiled sweetly. “Well. I’ll leave you to… whatever this is.”

“Wait!” Chris blurted, then immediately winced like he hadn’t meant to say it so fast. “I mean—uh, thanks. For the food.”

“Anytime,” you said softly, tilting your head. “You’re welcome, Puffer.”

And then you turned, hips swaying casually as you walked off back to the living room.

Chris turned back to his screen and facepalmed.

Droid’s face appeared in the corner. “You’re blushing, bro.”

“I’m not blushing.”

“Pezzy’s gonna kill you,” Grizzy chimed in, appearing on another cam.

“I’m not blushing!” Chris repeated.

“Bros flustered.”

“Imagine getting stunned by a pretty girl in sweats.”

“Tell her you love her or we will.”

“Can she come back pls?”

Chris groaned and yanked his hoodie over his head. “Chat, shut up. Everyone shut up. This stream’s OVER.”

But the stream was not over.

Because you popped your head back in with a teasing smirk. “Oh, by the way—I forgot to ask if you wanted ketchup or ranch.”

Chris stared. Again.

“Never mind,” you giggled. “Too stunned to speak, again.”

Pezzy could be heard cackling in the background.
