How far can a person bend before they break and how long can the broken be wielded before they turn double edged?
This season was so devastatingly beautiful, but ironically, the metaphorical crown wouldn't be heavy if the gemstones didn't dig into the head of the wearer.
Sometimes, the line between mercy and cruelty can be thin.
The reason WHY Claudia resonates so deeply with Aaravos' story is because it's a mirror that she finds herself in. She IS the daughter in the story but not the one who pays the price. No, that was paid by her father... her father, who was brave enough to do what Aaravos couldn't. What's heartbreaking is that she doesn't even realize what she's discarding is the same thing Viren chose to embrace in death; his humanity.
The loss portrayed was so unsettling...
To even the loss we felt as the audience, seeing what made Viren who he was... his own son, to seeing what he made himself and the loss of what could've been and how his death proved the one thing we didn't want him to show... him having a human heart. And that's what this show did magnificently... it made this audience root for people against our will.
From the unfinished story of the lovers forever frozen in time to the mournful ballad rayla sang to console the stormbringer.
The only thing left to see is how these weapons charecters are to be utilized.
How callum will embrace his darkness and if Rayla will be able to kill him if need be. Or if promises will not be the only things to be broken next time.
Since I am still kinda new, I guess I could also talk about ships that I have. Usually, if you have read this, then you kinda know my mostly take on ships, but I have yet to talk about ships I like. (Below cut)
Well for starters, let me start with legend of zelda. I am a pretty big Zellink fan, but only some of the links I ship them together. Like skyward sword for example. Other ships, like Sidon X Wild (link, I just call them wild bc it's easier and linked universe fandom has rubbed off on me) or Mipha x Wild. I am not the pickiest and typically prefer Mipha x Wild or Zellink, but I am pretty open to almost all of them.
Amphiba? Well I have a big list. Sprivy is adorable and cute. So is Yulivivia (idk if that's their ship name or not XD). I don't know what to make of Hop Pop x Grime and such... so... questioning I guess. Sashannarcy is really good and its usually my go too. But Marcanne is adorable. (What can I say? Tiny Dragon toons got me into it. Their art is amazing!!) And anyone with Andrias I try to avoid.
Avatar and Korra is next. I personally like Katara x Aang, (Kataang) is pretty dang good, but usally my go to is Korra x asami. Tho Bopel is pretty good. I, don't know many other ships. I thought Korra X Mako was... kinda bad. I really was not a fan of that ship. It was too fast and Idk why it happened. Felt... wrong in my mind.
Voltron is next and dear lord. I think this is one of the only fandom I don't really have any ships for. Klance is cute, but I don't see it happening in my eyes. (Please don't kill me Klance shippers) Lance X Allura, I don't really know what to make of it I guess... Shiro X Adam though is cute.
Glitch techs? I see no ships here, so Imma skip it. Mainly platonic ships, which I am all down for.
Dragon prince? Rayllum. Rayllum for the win. Though, I wouldn't mind if it was platonic or not, its still a nice duo. I really don't see many other ships... Callum and Claudia I... I don't really care terribly much about.
Rick Riordan verse now!! PJO/HOO/TOA: Obviously Percabeth and Solangelo are both AMAZING!! I love them both with a passion. Jiper is cute. Piper X Shel though is another amazing ship. Another ship I will stand behind until my death is Frazel. Its so underrated and so adorable. Luke and Thalia? Nah, Thalia slay girl. THe ship of Thalia and Reyna is cute tho. I... Haven't read trials of Apollo yet, so I don't know any ships other than Solangelo from there. TKC: Tbh, Zia and Carter is cute but so is Sadie X Walt (I personally call the ship Salt just to confuse everyone.) Tho it did get a little complex with Sadie, Walt and Anubis. But I still think it was cool. Tho, I don't really know any other ships I guess... Anyone got some you can introduce to me? MCATGOA (A tongue twister, I know. Imma just refer to it as MC, (Magnus chase)): Okay, but Halfborn and Mallory were... an interesting pair, but I have no objections. Same with Samirah and Amir, cute and I see nothing wrong with it. Magnus and Alex however I absolutely ADORE!! Its cute, amazing and fabulous ship. I stand behind it til my death.
Hermitcraft? No ships here. As far as I can tell. Same with Dream SMP. I know that there are ships there, not too big with those ships. Like Tubbo and Ranboo? Adorable. Would I protect it with my life? No. Do I enjoy it? Yes. Yes I do.
I could go on, but this post is already long enough. I don't want to bored you. Tho, if you wanted to ask about ships, I guess you could ask me.
Is it bad i actually generally think they cut it so there would be 8 kisses in season 7 meaning seasons 8,9 and 10 were confirmed?

Day 1: what tdp means to me
This show is truly a masterpiece and frankly we don’t want it to be over (plls don’t let it be over continue the saga!!) I really can’t put into words how much I love this show because I DO and with a PASSION❤️🔥❤️🔥 and i hope that netflix gives us the green light and we get three whole more seasons of this masterpiece❤️🔥❤️🔥🔥🥹. But also fuck netflix.

to be honest ive been watching the show since season 3 came out but i only joined tumblr a bit before season 6 came out so I haven’t been here long. I do like how when we saw aaravos crying we made all the Santa references but as soon as we found out what was really going on we did a 360 and started Leola mourning😭😭

Day 3: fave character
My absolute favourite character has GOT to be Rayla💜💜. I love her character development like for example when Callum does dark magic in s2 vs s6 (and maybe season 7) it really shows how shes changed from the people around her, next her character design UGH both her arc one and arc two designs need a moment of appreciation

HOW CAN I CHOOSE UGHH. All rayllum scenes are 🔥❤️🔥, all sorvus scenes got me melting (who can help it), and all the flash back scenes are rly cool especially Virens one while writing a letter to soren about why Lissa left

day 9: Favourite extra content
i love all the extra content short stories ect but my favourite has to be the graphic novels. Specifically the bloodmoon huntress, dreamers nightmare and puzzle house. These specifically because it shows them the main characters callum and ezran, rayla and soren and Claudia still learning how to be good at the stuff they love, Claudia learning dark magic, soren training to be a crown guard, Rayla learning how to turn into her moonshadow form and deciding to become an assassin and callum and Ezran starting to deepen their relationship.
We also get a lot of info from the books that you would’t know if you only watched the series like. Why is Rayla afraid of water? Well, at the start of the book she was fine with it laying on a log above a fast pace river, then later in the book Kim’deal throws her off the top of a tall cliff into a fast pace river and she almost drowns (mind you shes 8- 10 years old) we don’t get that info in the show. And in puzzle house we also find out a lot about Kpp’Ars house, which is a giant puzzle that claudia and soren have to solve AND ITS GOING TO BE IN SEASON 7 SOOOO yuh.
(Sorry i haven’t done this in a while i just had my last days of school and got rly busy😭 so im doing them all today!)

day 10: Fave lore
Honestly i cannot comprehend that we only have 10 days till season 7!!
My favourite lore in the show is probably Leolas. I mean we never really questioned why aaravos did all of this and when i saw the season 5 clip ‘stargazing’ i started wondering is rayllum would name their kid leola😭😭.
but the way she was introduced with, Claudia needing love to do a spell (love she did not have) and Aaravos explaining about his happiest years and how he was robbed of them.
She was just a child aswell, she was shown in a way that made us care for her from the start, and how she left the scene was tragic😭,
and we saw aaravos in a whole new light and i find that beautiful.

day 11: fave quote
I think in season 4 when Soren was talking to Rayla about Callum and said “the heart do what it do or dont what it dont.” Just has a space in my heart.
Or
Any human Rayla or Elf callum line. Any at all.
(+ callums like “It was me all along, I was the human!” to Nyx)
I literally counted how many line strokes it took callum to draw rayla ib season 6 while she was on the ship. It was 162.
Day 12: my fave season is probably season 6.
I meann i love 6 because of rayllum obvi, katolis getting burnt to the ground, runnan getting freed, sorvus, jamaya, kosmo and astrid, ezran and annya, tiadrin and lain, stella and sneezles, karim getting absolutely destroyed, my poor leola😭. And THE ANIMATION they outdid themselves this season honestly.

By the way she respected Ezran wishes for the pearl to stay in Katolis I think Callum will ask her if she wants to break him out, and she’ll bring up how hard this is for Ezran and she doesn’t want to make this worse for him,
I think Runaans gonna break himself out and go to the silver grove to see Ethari and leave Rayla for Callum to take care of.
do I think this hoping that her and Callum will go to the silver grove together and get her un-ghosted. Yes. Do I need her to say she’s going back to Katolis to stay with him. Absolutely. Don’t ruin this for me

Sooooo apparently people are asking if the main characters’ kids will be in arc 3.
In my opinion I don’t think they will and plus I don’t think that it would be the best idea either.
I just think that the plot would be useless especially because the next time we’ll see the main cast is in 7 years. It would completely go over the whole importance of aaravos’ come back. Maybe even farther into the future we’ll get to see their kids but I don’t think it’s very likely.
Plus, it’ll throw the main cast over to the side to basically be pointless. And I think that the writing won’t be so complex and intriguing so most of the time it’ll be boring.
I want to hear what you think buttt that’s kinda it for me (also sorry it was written very badly ToT)
