No concrete ideas of the specific gem they are, feel free to reply to this post with your ideas! Also a heads up that a bunch of these ideas are not SU-specific but rather from Land of the Lustrous, I've just ingrained both to be my gem au brain file and I can't differentiate some details anymore.

Law is a healer-type gem, a skillset passed down through generations of doctors. He never unlocks this skill in the traditional manner and has to navigate his powers without any professional support in the Donquixote household / with Corazon. His gem colours are yellow and black + the disease has left permanent white scarring on his gem and viltigo on his skin.

His gem placement is on the left of his chest, above the heart. It is well-hidden under most of his clothing. He has grown accustomed to limited sunlight exposure, making him function better than others in situation without sunlight but making him relatively frail otherwise.

Sanji is a lab-grown gem and manufactured to be a fighter-type gem model by Judge. For one reason or another, he doesn't come out as how Judge would like -- he's not brittle, sure, but he is not up to standard. By all means, he has the capacity of a regularly birthed gem.

As a lab-grown gem, he has an extremely well cut facet, which he uses to his advantage to trick people into letting him into high-end establishments. Reconnaissance!

His gem is deep blue, placement is on the back of his left hand.

For their meet-up, I can picture them being introduced while still stuck in their respective families. Judge and Doflamingo have their big fancy villain party and where Sanji and Law first see each other. They meet again years later, post-Corazon and post-Germa, both on the run. They team up because they have nowhere to go and think they'll be strong together.

Their first fusion is one forced in the chaos of battle. With no option left, they fuse and they crush everyone around, no witnesses.

Fusion is another tool at their disposal, they work hard to stabilise it. It's real valuable when people are looking for two people instead of one and they'll hit more than twice as hard if it comes to that.

Their fusion is characteristically tall, but their size is malleable. Their colours and predominantly gold and blue. As a fusion, their weapon is like a huge filet knife that can also set on fire.

Due to years of experience, they've stabilised themselves to appear normal -- the only anomaly is that they have 4 eyes, which are easily hidden under Law's hat.

I forgot to expand on my shinobu and genya thoughts but this woman is like the batman of kny, if she sees an orphan she already has a hairpin crafted and a bed made for them. She can say Kanae was the nice and sweet one all she wants but she was the one who took kanao without asking her sister. Why would she not look at Genya who is being ostracized by Sanemi and go “okay he’s mine now.”

ESPECIALLY when this woman is his personal doctor if I remember correctly, she sees how he is harming himself mentally and physically and basically grounds him to the butterfly estate. Kanao is put on duty to make sure he doesn’t scamper out a window. Genya suddenly understands Inosuke now.

It’s also a rite of passage once you get shinobu claimed to learn medical stuff, he already has the hairpin he doesn’t use but keeps on his person (it feels like an act of betrayal to Nemi and yet he cannot separate himself from it) and he’s not as good as her or Aoi because he hasn’t had years of medical practice but within a decent amount of time he’s able to pick up on how to safely stitch himself or someone up. Reset a bone and he is commonly used to scare the more rowdy and perverted demon slayers into obedience when he frequents the butterfly estate.

Just. Genya learning it’s okay to develop more tender relationships than just with gyomei or sanemi and Shinobu showing that she is genuinely kind and loving despite her passivity and empty smiles.

This is not a WANT but a NEED 😭😭🙏

How would they react 🤨.

OR OR even a gory one for those killer/evil characters. Like those cool ass paintings where it's a character holding a bleeding heart or a skeleton or smth. Please. Y'all request this shit to good authors 😔🤚

Regulus is all 3 in one; a jock, a goth, and a prep. this is why he is so sexy and why we all worship him so much. In this post I will explain why and how regulus is all 3 of these things at once.

Jock: Ok, I am pretty shocked by how much Jock is losing this tournament. Because I feel like Jock is a very obvious aspect of his personality? I mean, him being a quidditch player is one of the only things we know about him besides his death... and it was so focused upon by Harry... But yes, Regulus is very obviously a Jock, he is on a sports team.,... and he is more strong than he looks.... so yeah, regulus is a Jock! I am guessing maybe people struggle to see this because they are too busy imagining him getting bent over a table or something

Goth: I already explained this in detail, but yes, Regulus is gothic, please read my post about it. I have seen some people say he cannot be gothic due to the origins of the goth movement but we are talking about the modern usage of the word "goth" a word to describe an aesthetic, if you saw regulus walking, you would be like, "whoa, who is that goth guy with the massive sexy ass?" the term goth has changed meanings over time, it refers to an aestehtic more than anything else. and also, I don't think you can try to say the standards of the muggle goth movement apply to wizards. I am using goth in an anachronistic sense; a modern person looking at regulus would say he is goth, and this has nothing to do with what goth meant at the time he was alive.

Prep: Well I don't need to explain this one since everyone Is already voting for it, but yes, regulus is 1. rich and 2. pretentious (see: the note he has on his bedroom door), so yes, I would say he is a prep.

So yes, he is all 3, goth, jock, and prep, which is part of what makes him so sexy, that he is able to encompass everything on this earth all at once, this is why I love him so.

Just remembered another thing that I find irksome about the comic outside of the obvious, so apologies for this second rant!

There are so many actually interesting plot points that Rusty has written within Leasebound, and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing with. And that really bothers me. I think what makes it so bothersome in that Rusty has gone on record to say that her story is meant to be about "interesting female characters" and like-

They aren't. Because you don't actually write about them outside of making them deal with the horrors of women who have more body hair than outside of their legs.

It generally prickles my pruddles the amount of times that Rusty has actually written parts of the lore that have substance, and then cooked them into nothing burgers.

Jaden having immense guilt over her fathers death, both because there was nothing she could do about it, and because she eventually dropped and gave up on her objective of going to medical school and becoming a doctor in his memory?

Nothing burger. I don't think we've literally ever come back to this plot point since it was introduced

Riley and her turbulant relationship with her family, specifically hinting to the idea that they flat out disowned her/don't associate with her anymore?

Nothing burger. I don't believe we've ever circled back to this plot point either. It was hinted at in the first few chapters and in behind the scenes of the original story, but I haven't seen it mentioned outside of that

The turbulent relationship with Karrisa and how she feels unwelcomed with her relationship with her boyfriend, because of her family's past traumas and distrust of men due to said trauma?

I'm taking a wild shot in the dark that they're likely never going to come back to this. And if they do, it's not gonna come back in a particularly satisfying or good way.

Nothing burger. And that sucks! Because this should be the shit that should actually be expanded upon! These are good avenues in a story to explore, and she just does nothing with them!

The saddest part about Leasebound as a concept and comic is that it actually has so much potential to get really interesting, but Rusty does nothing with what ACTUALLY makes it interesting in favor of acting like she's stuck in the 2016 anti-SJW era.
