hi i need opinions on this very dumb thing !

i love love love calling friends irl and online by nicknames. like weird or shortened versions of their name, or pet names? like baby or love or smth. started this year when an insanely pretty girl called me baby and now i cant stop saying it lmao

ANYWAYS do you guys get uncomfortable with those kinds of names? obviously with friends im closer with its easier to ask, but im just looking for a baseline if you're not sure. are people, on average okay with pet names?? or just nicknames?

i sound batshit insane but i genuinely need an opinion. i had a very unfun situation today which i would not like to repeat!!!!!!!

BUT I more so feel the vibe of the dream than the actual stuff. like fear or confusion. I keep having this recurring dream of being at a will wood concert and it's very sad when I wake up and im. in my bed.
