Pspspsps. Hey there prohibitedwish community 👋. Have some fanart of these two goobers :))
*DO NOT STEAL/CLAIM ART AS YOUR OWN*
Now that the second hand is finished It's photoshoot time.
Now he has two hands! Isn't that nice?
He just wants his body... Poor Scrabby :(
I wanted it to look like he was falling but it looks more like he's cuddling under a blanket and sleeping so. Eepy Scrabby? The other picture is definitely about sleeping.
And more prohibitedwish because I love them.
Prismo broke the Scrabby doll and is devastated.
I finally finished it! Here is the tutorial for the lil Scrabby hand :)
(I apologize in advance to my horrible explanation)
I used these materials; pen, pritt, needles, scissor, eraser, ruler, thread and of course paper.
1.First I took the measurements from the first hand. I used cm for information. I made the palm first. I made it longer than the original because I cut it to have the curve the base of the fingers have.
2. After it was done I half filled the bottom with the paper left over from the start of the project.(No paper wasting allowed). I left some space for the fingers. I also left a little space at the bottom because I'll make a movable wrist.
3. I made papers with little balls on the ends and cut out some paper for the bottom of the fingers. The long part of the finger paper can be as long as you want it to be because you can cut it after checking if it's thick enough. Don't forget to glue it so its shape stays.
4. After wrapping the finger I squished the top and made a small hole with a needle for the limb. I used the eraser as a table to not stab myself with it.
4.5. I forgot to take a photo :( . Well you do the same thing as step two for top of the finger parts you made. You have to make a small cut with your scissors so the finger can move. You also have to make small holes that line up to the ones you made at step before this(4). Don't forget it's okay to stab erasers with needles for your own safety.
5. And now you put the thread thru the holes and cut them. After that take a paper that is the same height as the finger and wrap it around with the thread under it.( don't close the small cut though)
6. I made small holes at the bottoms of the fingers and put the thread thru them.(Be careful and make sure the fingers are facing the right way)
7. I cut a small part at the front of the palm so the fingers can bend forward and made small holes on each side for the thread to go thru.
8. I glued some paper on each side to hold the thread and glued more paper between the fingers so they don't slip.
I watched Fionna and Cake recently. And let's just say it might have been too inspiring.
Because I am trying to make a paper Scarab with movable joints :'D
The project name is "Lil Scrabby". (Name will probably change.)
Here he is with prototype 1 mask, prototype 2 head and prototype 3 hand. He'll have multiple masks for multiple face expressions. Also I'll definitely make a prototype 4 for the hand.
Silly poses with the only body parts he has. He has fallen and can't get up.
Alone on a friday night? Pathetic! Me too >:(
If anyone has any tips on making movable 3D paper dolls I would love to hear them. I'll post my ideas and blueprints if anyone's interested.
Also Prohibitedwish because why not. Prismo has a lil Scrabby figurine now :)
Oh, God. I'm so love them.
