finally some neighbour interaction

im the kind of warrior cats fan who haaaates when newcomers keep their old names. In the game, Sega did take on a more clan-like name while keeping his own, and I liked how it sounded so I kept it. However, Melona joined with her old name and I don't really like that. so name change :D (also another reason why i dont like millie in the books >.>)

fun fact: Sunheart was Redstar's apprentice :D

first tidalclan kitties!! i was super suprised that dawn looked so much like his dad, not a single bit of mama tide on him. i added freckles so he has at least a smidge of his mom's features

currently i fiddled a little and made tide and light adopt splinter since that seemed the most obvious thing to do, so dawn has an older sister already ^^

✏️Who’s your favorite character to draw/write?

Ooo that's a bit of a toughie

In terms of writing at least, I'm so attached to my main three, but I'm gonna have to say Coldcrash is first with Shadestar and Lightchaser close behind. Coldcrash started as this wide-eyed, excited kit going on an adventure with two apprentices to becoming a medicine cat who is especially connected to StarClan and feels weighed by what she knows. She still feels unsure about how best to go about it, with only being able to ask the other medicine cats every half-moon. She's still very much growing into her own, and I'm enjoying watching that happen

As for drawing, I have to say Larchmask. she just feels so flowy and fun to draw! Plus her color palette is just chef's kiss.

There's another character i love drawing but they can't be revealed yet shhhhhh

What exactly happened to make Shade, Light, and Cold leave their previous clan?

So obviously I didnt answer these questions right away because I knew the comic would answer these questions later on. So sorries for the probably very late reply, but here's the written version since we've not gotten to that point.

Back when Shadestar was a 'paw in BlazeClan, she unexpectedly received a very disturbing dream. She doesn't remember it very well, but there were voices speaking, and the scent of smoke and seasalt. Thinking it might've been from StarClan, Shadepaw approached their medic cat, Duckcry. Duckcry was shocked to hear Shadepaw had such a dream and was immediately brought to Thornstar. In their private meeting, Shadepaw learned that both Duckcry and Thornstar have had the same dream. But while Duckcry urged to heed the warning, Thornstar dismissed it completely. He demanded that neither cats tell anyone about it, even threatening to punish them.

Unable to truly ignore the dream, Shadepaw convinced Lightpaw to follow her. As they snuck out of camp, the only kit born in the season, Coldkit, had followed them out. Shadepaw wasn't able to convince her to go back, and decided to lead the two cats out of BlazeClan territory, towards the sea.

She had always planned to return if she was wrong about the dream. But when she received her nine lives and heard the voices again, she had a feeling that this new arrangement was permanent. And when she saw the dark smoke in the sky, there was no doubt that BlazeClan was destroyed.

She still doesn't know why she received the dream, or why Thornstar denied a warning from StarClan, but she doesn't believe it was StarClan's will to see BlazeClan destroyed. She firmly believes they were trying to warn them.

Oh I had so much fun drawing everyone's kitties and trying out this style on so many varied and beautiful designs 🥰 I drew them all smiling because I want all these characters to flourish and be happy🥺

Fogpool is the founder of @cycloneclangen - I adore his gorgeous flowing fur and design, hes so stylish even when its so dang wimdy, the design always stuck out the first time I saw it. I'm looking forward to seeing how he survives on his own after the storm!!

Piperdapple is the fluffiest warrior of @sporeclan whomst design is one of my FAVOURITEs with the poofy fur and striped tail, but I also love her childish whimsy!! Looking forward to seeing her litter soon 😍 Sporeclan is so unpredictable with its mean rng qwq Fogfreckle is the wonderful deputy and brother of @nimbusclan 's leader, and I've always loved his design!! Clangen's heart pattern pelt becoming clouds is so creative, his eyes are so bright and augh- I'm so worried for this lil cat after the last update. He better be oKAY!

Velociraptor is a newer member of @clangenthriftclan that I just spent today reading and wowow I love the story of this comic. The style is wonderfully varied with the shape and expressions and it compliments the story so well - its a really long running clangen which is so inspiring to me. Definitely following for more ouo

Coniferheart is the deputy of Gravelclan, the starring story of @passing-moments !! I just read through this story too and I'm so interested to see more of the character's backstories and about that strange white kitty who gifted those 9 lives 👀

And last but not least! Shadestar the leader of @tidalclan I love the style of Tidalclan so much, there's so much personality in all the characters, and the journey from being 2 apprentices and a kit to a full clan is always so fun and interesting 🥺The latest lore drop was ough

So a while back it was brought up to me that Coldcrash and Larchmask being mates could be seen as problamatic due to their ages, and after some thinking, I did agree on it (and acknowledged this in a previous post). Coldcrash is still only a fresh adult too so it would have been way too early. Since I was about 10 or so moons ahead, their relationship lasted a little while before I broke them up. I’m gonna ignore all their mate interactions from here on out. I didn't change anything in their relationship code yet so there is a small chance of them still ending up together but I'll have to see about it. I’d love to hear your own opinion on it as well.

Also, let me know if the dialogue text is too small, I was definitely experimental in this one

funfacts: Mistlethunder is RumbleClan's medicine cat and Mistfuzz is CycloneClan's medicine cat. Mistfuzz is the older cat, being 110 moons, and thus gave Coldpaw her name.

larchmask seems to be fitting in well. although coldpaw needs to learn that larchmask can interact with everyone else
