He didn't leave until Eggman picked him up.

in canon, DOES STONE REALISE HE'S IN LOVE WITH ROBOTNIK???? if im taking version that they met and grew attached to each other at work: did stone one day just get hit with knowledge that he likes ivo so he started to do all that gay shit OR he thinks he just does regular employee-platonic-bro-bestie things but they come out as romantic gestures because he's in love??

i was filling a ship chart and there was this thingy "would die for the other ———— would kill for the other" if I didn't know id put robotnik in "would kill for the other" and stone in "would die for the other" because one is egotistical and other seems very selfless but i love that in canon its literally the opposite– (considering how stone acquired the mean bean)
