now i wanna just sort of finally find someone to talk to- to connect to. It’s just weird being on my own so frequently, aching to be loved and understood, but being terrified of actually connecting to someone. As i told the color green, if you allow yourself to be loved then you also open yourself up to vulnerability. And survivors of ab*** just don’t have that luxury.

Reparenting Affirmations for Child Abuse Survivors

I am so glad you were born.

I love who you are and am doing my best to always be on your side.

You can come to me whenever you’re feeling hurt or bad.

You do not have to be perfect to get my love and protection.

All of your feelings are okay with me.

You can know what you need and ask for help.

You can have your own preferences and tastes.

You are a delight to my eyes.

You can pick your own friends, and you don’t have to like everyone.

You can sometimes feel confused and ambivalent, and not know all the answers.

these are my favorite base game and dlc slugcats, Survivor and Rivulet. i think it mostly boils down to me enjoying playing as normal littol critters. dont get me wrong, i do still like the other slugcats and enjoy playing as them, but im more drawn to these guys for some reason. i also really like their story, especially rivulet's

... i forgot the tail fins that i usually give rivulet. oops
