It's your lucky day! I have been motivated to post and you guys get two post this month, shocker I know.

I have somehow gotten dragged into the TMNT fandom again and decided to do a Rottmnt Leo spread!

And in case you missed it, I drew Donnie from two different Au's that I recently got invested in.

Top one is Swanatello by @tangledinink , which is an au where Donnie gets magical girl-ified! :D

Bottom one is from the fanfic Open your shell to find your wings by @onejellyfishplease , where Donnie gets double mutated! :0

I hope I've done both of these creators justice, and please go check them out and give their AUs some love!

What’s the bracelet project that Donnie is working on in the Swanatello comic where April visits him? Is it to help him escape or remember things better? Or something unconnected?

The bracelet doesn't fix everything, and it's not even 100% effective. But it helps a lot. Even if it doesn't actually fix any of his memory issues, it means that now, a majority of the time, he at least knows on a surface level who they are enough to let them stay. And it improves things enough that, eventually, so long as they don't all show up at once-- they can all visit together.

hi! i desperately need to see swannie & splinter. give that boy his dad!

It took Splinter longer than he'd care to admit to gather up enough courage to go visit Swanatello at the lake. The idea of his child not only failing to recognize him but also rejecting him and driving him away was absolutely terrifying to him. But after a couple weeks, he found that he wanted to see Donnie much more than he was afraid.

Donnie doesn't remember him all the time. But he did on that first visit. Splinter is the only one that Donnie always recognizes right away. He either recognizes him or he doesn't-- there's never any hesitation or cloudiness when it's his dad. When he is able to recognize him, he recognizes him beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Donnie was so hideously overexcited that first visit that Splinter had to sit with him for a while just to settle him back down. Donnie didn't realize, on this particular day, that anything was wrong with his situation-- but he did know who his Dad was, and could recognize that it felt like he hadn't seen him in a while.

(Barry, on the other hand, Donnie has never once recognized nor met with anything less than complete and utter hostility on any of his visits.)

Also--

It hasn't really come up. Part of this is because when Splinter visits, he'll often sing so that Donnie has music to dance to. Donnie doesn't want to tell him that he already hears music for fear that he'll stop-- so he never mentions it.

Crownardo

Ok, can I say that I’m completely obsessed with @tangledinink ’s Swanatello AU? because I am, and that it’s unfortunate that they’re never seen Princess tutu, because the ideas you can get from there. Seriously, why the heck aren’t there more ballet anime, Barbie has like 4 ballet centered movies, which I miss by the way.

But to stay on topic, considering we’re talking about an AU of swan lake, it wouldn’t be too weird to include the black swan, or in this case the black Crow.  Yep, I’m drawing directly from Princess Kraehe for this, which I feel fits.

for those who haven’t seen princess tutu, Kraehe is the adopted daughter of the raven king and is one of the antagonists of the story, she is a kind girl at heart and everything she does she does for the people she loves, even if she ends up causing harm in the end.

Something similar happens with Leonardo here, he is so sad and desperate for not being able to break his brother’s curse that he ends up calling the attention of a certain ‘entity’ who tells him that he can help him with his predicament, after a little back and forth, Leo accepts, and the ‘entity’ gives him a small vial that according to him, will give him the necessary power to face the curse, Leo drinks it, and in that moment Crownardo arrives to the world.

Crownardo’s main objective is to free his brother from the curse, for this the 'entity’ told him that he had to find a certain 'something’ but Crownardo does not know what it is, unlike Swanatello, Crownardo has more control of himself, however, is not exempt from problems, whatever is contained in that vial, contributed to his personality to become a little more… Insidious.

swanatello’s feet must be DESTROYED. good lord.

If he were a normal person, they absolutely would be. But as it stands, if constantly being on pointe is causing any pain or damage to his body, he can't feel it. Walking on pointe feels completely natural to him. He is capable of walking normally, but it would be akin to us walking on our tiptoes-- not painful, but a little bit awkward and something we would have to consciously do, and would become uncomfortable after a bit.

i made him just for the pun~ imagine him being a lot like regular donnie, but bitchier and with dance kid energy?

he doesn't really remember life before he was cursed to be a swan lake magical girl...?

so now he's just living his best life out in the middle of nowhere in this lake. he can LEAVE, but he has to be back at the lake before the sun rises each morning or... something bad will happen. he doesn't know what. he can just FEEL that something bad will happen. and no matter how many times he tries to test it out, he always panics too hard to see it through, much to his annoyance...
