oh well... this did not go as planned...
unfortunately, I started the year by getting sick + I had my university exams really piled up (some I had to take twice, because I failed the first time due to the previously mentioned sickness...). I don't really see point in finishing Dykecember, as not just December, but even the whole January has passed by now. maybe I will "recycle" the wips for something else, idk, but for now I'm going on with the second point
I hope the year started better for you guys, and I can actually be more active here from now on!
2024 is over, but not my (hopefully not temporary) motivation for writing! my plans for the beginning of the year:
finish Dykecember. even though December ended, I really liked this challenge and I have an idea for most of the prompts, so I want to finish it, no matter how much time it takes. as it's a different month now, I don't think I'll care about the numbering of the days that much - I'll go with what I like, and eventually all 31 will be done
complete the old requests. I have some "leftover" requests from before my break (yes, from years ago.... I'm ashamed of myself). I wanted to do Dykecember as a way of practice to get back into writing, so that the requested pieces won't be half-assed, but these will be next
go on with my original ideas. believe or not, but I actually still have ideas for original fics as well, and I plan on developing these too!
+ if I get any requests in the meantime, I will write that too of course (though I don't really expect that to happen considering that I completely lost my old audience - which is not a surprise since I disappeared for more than 2 years)
I also started developing my own interactive fiction game.... it's just a lil' passion project for now, but maybe when it's a 100% finished and I feel confident enough with it, I'll share it too :)

I slowly (re?)introduced myself to mcl when the halloween event dropped and realised that I deeply miss the original one (and technically, I've also never finished it LMFAO thank you ap system). I'm playing new gen, and although I have some prejudices about it, I like it for now
I have no idea if I have anyone left on my writing blog who would read if I wrote again and I also have no idea what I would write again about! I don't know the characters of the newgen well enough for that yet, I don't play (and don't even plan on playing) other games, and as for old mcl.... yeah
but in any case, if for nothing else but just for myself, I'll probably accompany my journey of mcl here again, and if / when creativity strikes, I'll also write it out here :)

first of all, happy new year everyone!
I wanted to say this much earlier, though I don't even know if there's much point in me announcing anything. from having almost 200 followers and being active on a daily basis, I went to my current state where no one even reads what I post, but I need to let it out
many things happened in 2021. I know it wasn't an easy years for anyone, so I'm not saying this as an excuse. I have no excuse for isolating myself completely from Tumblr on some days, and not writing anything even on my "good" ones either
I only wanted to say that I'm not giving this account up. I'm slowly but surely catching up on Eldarya, and MCL seems to come back to life with the announcement of this Alternate Life (and who knows, I'm very much looking towards other fandoms as well.....), so I'll still be here
my first priority is finally answering those thousand-years-old requests I got while being absent, and then I'll try the angst writing challenge again (I had many exams + family stuff + I managed to get sick in December, so that's why I couldn't continue after the first day). any kind of kind or reassuring comment will be appreciated, but of course no one is forced :)

I don't actually know how many people care about my writings (MCL, specifically), that's why I haven't made any kind of "Farewell Post" like I have seen many people do, but I still wanted to clear things in case someone does care
I won't leave the fandom and I definitely won't leave Tumblr / AO3 / Discord. I don't know yet if I will play / write for the new game - as promising as it sounds, I have always preferred fantasy / sci-fi over slice of life stuff - but I won't stop writing for MCL either. I'm at HSL in my main account, and episode 7 of LL in my secondary (without playing HSL or UL), so I still have plenty of gaming left. I have multiple one-shot and headcanon ideas at the moment, not to mention my two fanfictions; I'm nowhere close to leaving this game and fandom behind
I was actually tempted to stop writing for MCL and concentrate on ED and SE, I don't even know if anyone will read what I write (my audience has never been big, and I'm sure it will just be smaller now), but as long as there's even a little demand for MCL related writings, I'll be here
a kind of update about my writing & Other Stuff:
I finally have an AO3 account! you can find it here. I already uploaded some stuff I've written here originally, though I won't upload everything
the only way this affects my account here is that there will be some writings (=fanfictions) that I will write there, and I'll only post a kind of teaser and the link here. I made this decision because writing fanfiction on Tumblr isn't really comfortable, AO3 is a better platform for writings with more chapters
about my fanfictions... I started "Drive away" in January, and no, I didn't forget about it, I just kept postponing the second part until I have AO3. sadly, I have a new fanfic idea 🙃 which is more "urgent" than DA, so I'll put that on hold for some time, then continue when I'm done with the new fanfic
for anyone wondering, the new fanfic will be about Candy and Nath reconciliating after Candy cheating with Eric 🤭 but you will see 😉
