Starting a quotebook for my teachers:

first entry is by my English teacher: You guys smell like cabbage and shame!

My friend keeps sending this pic to our microsoft teams gc in the middle of class and one time we were in a gc with a damn teacher and she sent it and the teached got the notification and she said it was an intesting definition in the fuckin middle of fuckin class

I remember in 7th he grade, I’d always ALWAYS fall asleep in my second period. It really annoyed me, but I just could not stay awake. My teacher was always nice about it and even when she woke me up, it was always very kindly. Outside of the bubble of that specific teacher, sleeping in class has always been kinda like it’s described above. But the one teacher actually understood that it was something I needed, and I still think about her sometimes :) it’s not hard to be kind, but it can leave every lasting impression.

I decided to write a bit about learning disabilities and my opinions on how they are handled in schools. I handwrote it as a demonstration of how my dysgraphia still affects my writing, but I also typed up a translation for anyone who might have trouble reading that.

My engineering teacher just called me out in class for having a super neat signature and I've never felt so genuinely amazing about a compliment I think.

All Might is Allowed to Teach and That’s Insane

It’s kind of bananas to me that All Might can teach at an elite and high profile school like Yuuei with like no real teaching qualifications? Like, sure he’s All Might, the Hero to end all heroes or whatever, but it’s literally canon that he knows absolutely nothing about how to teach and everyone just lets him?! Most times they don’t even have one of the actual teachers assisting him, the school just gives him free rein to literally throw kids at other kids and the worst he gets is a stern lecture from Recovery Girl. Like, how has no one tried to sue the school at this point, really? 

And it’s not even like we can say the other teachers are the same because they’re heroes. Present Mic teaches English, Ectoplasm teaches Mathematics, Cementoss teaches Modern Literature – all of which are core classes and therefore need to be taught by qualified teachers. They probs had to double major or something in college to be Pro Heroes and Teachers and All Might just…  walks into Yuuei one day and becomes a teacher?! Do know how salty I’d be if I was staff? 

Like Mic over here is just thinking to himself “lol that’s so cool All MIght’s a teacher now, and I had to read War and Peace in like two weeks and write an essay on morality based on the symbolism and other reaching themes of the book, while my roommate chugged Redbull and burped fireballs into our wastebasket, but go off All Might! you totally got this~!” 

(No wonder Aizawa always looks so done with All Might’s bullshit.)
