Bakugou x Reader

Bakugou loves being in your dorm room. He likes his room because it's his, but your room is just so much more... cozy.

Colorful fairy lights were strung up across your walls, a mini oil diffuser in the corner of your desk, and many little holographic and iridescent knickknacks scattered around the space which you referred to as your shinies.

Your favorites were the crystal suncatchers that hung from your window because when the sun hit them just right, your room would be cast into rainbows. Your bed was soft and smelled nice and was littered with pillows and plushies of shapes and sizes.

He remembered when you had first arrived at the beginning of the third year, you'd set up your room almost immediately explaining that it was important for you to make it truly yours. Katsuki found it stupid at first, but after seeing it all come together, he understood what you'd meant.

The other girls gushed over it, saying it was gorgeous, but unique. Wholly and truly yours. In the beginning, he'd find himself sneaking glimpses of it when you would leave your room for class and come back to it at the end of the day. He'd soon start nonchalantly suggesting that he study with you there but then began to just come over.

Sometimes he'd read on the large fluffy pink bean bag chair you kept in the corner, other times he'd bring up snacks; enough to share of course, and you'd set up your laptop on your desk for a cozy movie night.

You poked fun at him every once in a while, teasing him that he liked being in your space more than his own. He'd grumble out some silly reason, mumbling that he was only there because he could think more clearly.

Time would pass and eventually, he would find himself curling up on your bed, tucking you against his chest while his arms engulfed your smaller frame. He'd come to realize that maybe he had initially been intrigued by your space and its aesthetic, but it was really you all along that had made it so homely.

Now, he laid with his head against your chest, breathing in a mixture of your scent and that of your freshly clean sheets. He couldn't quite describe the fragrance, but it was light, clean, and sweet. Pleasant to say the least. Your chest was soft and warm, and the way it gently rose and fell after every breath filled Katsuki with a sense of warm calm. Complete bliss.

Every so often, you'd cupped your hand against the back of his head, gently scratching your nails along the base of his scalp, placing little kisses on the crown of his head when he'd hum, urging you to continue. Slowly but surely, you'd drift back off to sleep, Katsuki soon following suit.

Snow fell softly onto the ground outside, making your room feel all the more cozy. He realized in between phasing in and out of sleep in your arms, that he didn't want to ever be without this; without you. He'd ask you, someday, properly sooner than what he was planning, to take his hand and become his.

Katsuki is a man who is hard to sway. Once he sets his mind to something, there's little one can do to change it. And right now, in this moment with you, all he can think about is your future together.

All he can think about is giving you a house, so you can make a home. Yours and his.

The snowfall today had me imagining what a lazy day with Katsuki would be like. I feel like he'd get so sleepy around you because of how safe you make him feel. Anyway, hope ya'll enjoyed!
