Illustration notes

The concept is to draw a meeting between Grimm, the Pale King, and the Hollow Knight. It's a bit difficult to translate from bug to human because sometimes it's not clear if a design element is the bug's body or the clothes they wear.

In the future I think I would design the Hollow Knight with pale hair (as with the Pale King) but for the purposes of this illustration & clarity, they have dark hair.

The dialogue I keep thinking about during this scene is "Fine craft, dear wyrm."

wolfdog orel makes sense i think. for the furry au anyway. i'll have to make myself some sketchy refs sometime so i don't keep improvising their designs.
