Considering the fact Optimus told Ratchet privately about the matrix and how he feels..I think the trust between them is quite strong
Of course there's Optimus doing questionable things and Ratchet leaving to go into a spaceship cause he feels nothing is left for him on Cybertron
but Ratchet was one of the few who Optimus told about his worries freely and Ratchet caring about him in turn despite Optimus's mental state going through a lot of things as the series continued
I'll like to see them being reunited in the Allspark in the end and talking about the adventures each of them had
Maybe Ratchet will tell Optimus about Drift
He will be happy for him
Beacuse his old friend deserves love and happiness
(Likewise for Optimus but I think he's too tired or not in the good mental state to try love)(doesn't mean I don't appreciate the ships tho)

Honestly, I’ve had a lot of fun with this blog and across the Transformers community. I’ve also met some good friends because of it that I’m happy I’ll still be talking to even after this blog is gone.
I’d also like to thank everyone in the fandom as a whole too because you’ve all made this a really pleasant experience for and I really appreciate that. There’s times when I wish my motivation to continue running this blog was still there but everyone tends to move on from something they’re interested in eventually. Thank you again for this message it means a lot to me! :))

Hello love! So to inform you a bit, this powerful bot named Adaptus wanted Cybertron to start a war with a neighboring planet because he admire the idea of war even though it would serve no reason. When the people of Cybertron said no to his plan of war, Adaptus got outrageous and shot Cybertron with a weapon that mess with the mind (AKA erases memories). Rung, being the selfless & sweet bot he is, tried to protect everyone by absorbing most of the blast. Which why Rung didn't remember he is Primus (God) and the people of Cybertron didn't remember him and also forgot how to say his name easily.
I hate hate hate having to ask this, but will someone please tell me whats happening with Rung? Why is everyone alluding to him being god? The suspense is killing me, and with how hectic my life is I might never catch up in the comics and leave it unfinished like I do everything else I start (As much as it kills me to admit). Spoilers wont scare me. Just spoil it. Spill the fucking beans. Tell me straight out what the fuck happened and how. Please. Im ready. Im mentally prepared.

I LOVE how little-bitty-pretty-1 wrote this story because it made my heart melt and if your reading this, I want to say thank you for writing this out of your time and I love it very much...

Rung:
You took another sip from your drink, watching the water swirl. Unfortunately, as you were the last to board, you had the habsuite in the location no one else wanted: next to Rung’s office. It wasn’t as though the psychiatrist was mean - this ship was just full of people with problems, and why would they live next to the person with the ability to see those issues? Poor Rung. He was a nice guy - too bad no one wanted to be friends with him.
It could also be loud, though. Whirl had a habit of yelling heinous things during his appointments. One of the more quiet patients had been Fortress Maximus until, well, he decided that everyone was Overlord. Usually it was silent, like today.
SLAM!
You are startled out of your seat by the loud sound that reverberated your apartment. When you had gotten over your shock and calmed your racing heart, you left your habsuite and went over to Rung’s door.
You knock hesitantly, not wanting to interrupt a session if there was no need. “Are you okay, Rung?” There is no response.
Worried and unable to reach the access pad, you type in Ratchet’s comm frequency. “What?” he snaps, in a bad mood as always.
“I think Rung’s hurt. I heard a slam and I came over to see if he was okay, but he didn’t answer.”
Ratchet hangs up on you, but a only a minute later he and First Aid are entering the access code and going inside. You peek around the corner and gasp, purple Energon all over the floor as the psychiatrist groans, not moving.
Your heart stops as the medics start working, and you drag your feet back to your own apartment and your own business.

You only came to see him when you were sure that he was out of critical condition - Ratchet had scared off anyone that had come by sooner.
“Hey Rung.” You say quietly, sitting on the table beside his berth. “I heard you ruptured a tube, old man.”
He gives a little smile, looking at you out of the corner of his optic. “And I heard that you were the one that saved this old man.”
“Ratchet technically did all the wo-”
“But you called Rachet.” He interrupts. A servo comes at you and picks you up, albeit clumsily. You are set on his middle and he smiles at you.
Under normal circumstances you would have given him the whole just-because-I’m-small-doesn’t-mean-you-can-touch-me lecture. But Rung is sick, and you will make an exception this once. “I guess that was me.”
“Thank you.” He says, reaching to pet your head and then thinking better of it.
“You’re welcome.” You blush at the way he is looking at you, turning your face away and rubbing your wrist. This is getting hard for you.
“I’ve been watching you, y/n.” Rung tells you, bending his neck to try to make eye contact. “You’re too sweet for your own good.”
“You’re just saying that because I’m your only close friend.”
“No,” he corrects, very sure of himself for what he was going to say. “I say that because I like you.”
Something about the way he said it made you think he wasn’t talking about you as a friend. “Are you saying that you -” you point at your chest, unable to finish your thought.
“I believe that we are on the same section of the datapad.”
“Wow.” His spark stops as he waits for you to respond. “I… this is incredible!”
“I think I like you too.” You raise your eyes back to his optics and smile, carefully moving up to his face. You give him a gentle kiss on his right cheek and stroke the rim, smiling as he leans in. His servo comes up to support and pull you closer in the cuddle.
Ratchet scoffs in the distance and you snicker, prompting Rung to smile.
Rung needs a break...
Loves, let's take a moment to remember that Rung was in a state-like coma. And by the power of "I am tired of everyone's scrap," moved just to try to get some peace and quiet because 147 hours, that equals 6 days and 12-15 minutes straight of talking was too much for him... James Roberts, let Rung live!!!
