Walker Scobell x Y/n
abt 570 words
It was a warm summer afternoon, and the sun was shining brightly over the local park. You, (Y/N), had decided to spend the day outdoors, and it just so happened that Walker Scobell was your perfect companion for this sunny adventure.
“Ready for some fun?” Walker called out, a mischievous glint in his eye as he bounded up to you, a frisbee in hand.
“Absolutely!” you replied, grinning back. You had been looking forward to this day for weeks, and now that it was finally here, you felt an exhilarating mix of excitement and joy.
The two of you headed over to an open field, where the grass was lush and inviting. Walker tossed the frisbee into the air and caught it effortlessly, showing off his skills. “You’re going down, (Y/N)!” he teased, his competitive spirit shining through.
“Is that a challenge?” you shot back, narrowing your eyes playfully.
“Maybe,” he smirked, and you both took positions to start the game. Laughter filled the air as you chased each other, throwing the frisbee back and forth, trying to outmaneuver one another.
After a few rounds, you were both breathless and flopped down onto the grass, lying side by side, gazing up at the sky. “I think I need a break,” you panted, still chuckling from the excitement.
“Agreed,” Walker said, propping himself up on one elbow to look at you. “This is the best day ever.”
You turned to face him, your heart racing a little at the intensity of his gaze. “Yeah, it really is.”
There was a moment of comfortable silence, the world around you fading away. Then, almost instinctively, Walker leaned closer, his eyes flickering down to your lips. Without thinking, you leaned in as well, and your lips met in a soft kiss.
It was sweet and gentle, filled with the warmth of the sun and the thrill of the moment. When you pulled back, both of you were smiling shyly, your cheeks tinged with a light blush.
“Wow,” he said, still a little breathless. “That was… nice.”
“Definitely,” you replied, your heart fluttering.
Encouraged by the moment, Walker took your hand in his, fingers intertwining comfortably. “Let’s do something else! How about some ice cream?”
“Sounds perfect!” you replied, standing up and brushing off the grass from your clothes.
You both made your way to the nearby ice cream stand, excitedly discussing your favorite flavors. Walker’s eyes lit up when he spotted mint chocolate chip, and you couldn’t help but laugh at his enthusiasm.
As you enjoyed your ice cream, you walked along the path lined with blooming flowers, sharing stories and playful banter. The sun was beginning to set, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange.
“Okay, I have a confession,” Walker said suddenly, looking a little serious.
“What is it?” you asked, curious.
“I’ve really liked you for a while now. Like, more than just friends,” he admitted, his voice steady despite the vulnerability in his eyes.
Your heart swelled at his words. “I like you too, Walker. A lot more than just friends.”
A huge grin spread across his face, and without thinking, he leaned in again. This kiss was a little bolder, a little more passionate, filled with the excitement of newfound feelings. You melted into it, feeling as if the world had shifted into something beautifully new.
When you finally pulled apart, both of you were grinning like fools. “I think this day just got a whole lot better,” Walker said, his voice playful.
“Definitely,” you agreed, feeling as if this was just the beginning of something wonderful.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over everything, you knew you had found something special in Walker. It was a perfect summer day, and it was only going to get better from here.
