As a person of predominantly Irish American heritage, I’ve had many an argument w/ my more racist family members about the wildly inaccurate story they tell themselves in an effort to be victims and invalidate Black Americans’ true experiences of racism and the legacy of slavery. So just spreading a dose of reality today!
