Content: Defiant whumpee, blindfolded, restrained, dehumanisation, physical violence.
The heel of Whumper's shoes tapping on the ground with every step they take. A blindfolded whumpee having nothing but the sound of Whumper's steps to go off in terms of where they are.
Whumper placing their foot on a stool/chair as they examine/admire Whumpee.
The frantic kicking Whumpee does as their arms and legs are tied up.
Caretaker gently kicking doors shut as they cradle a sleeping whumpee in their arms.
Dragging an unconscious whumpee by the feet.
Whumper using their foot to position Whumpee as they like.
Whumper lazily nudging Whumpee with their foot to make sure they're still alive/awake.
Pressing the ball of their foot into a defiant Whumpee's neck to stop them from talking/to cut off their airflow.
A caretaker kicking their feet up as they patiently wait for Whumpee to wake up.
Forcing Whumpee to kiss/clean Whumper's shoes.
Whumper doing that tiny skip/run up right before they kick Whumpee in the stomach (hoping someone knows what I mean by this)
A defiant whumpee sticking their foot out to trip Whumper as they walk past them.
Caretaker anxiously bouncing their foot as they wait for news on Whumpee.
Whumpee gets hit by a car
Whumpee is in a car accident
Caretaker is in a car accident and then emotional whump
Or
Whumpee gets in the car only for whumper to point a gun at them and tell them to drive
Whumpee gets in the car before being knocked out, whumper then gets into the front seat and drives
Whumper ties up whumpee and throws them in the back seat
Whumper ties up whumpee and throws them in the boot
The possibilities are endless,,,
Thinkin about split knuckles,,,
Bloody and bruised skin pulling tightly over bones. It’s just. Yeah.
“Please don’t give up on me.”
Bonus points if caretaker really wasn’t planning to
“What part of stay there don’t you understand?!”
“I swear- you’ll be the death of me!”
“I’m going grey- You’re making me go grey.” “You are not going grey, you’re 25!”
“Are you trying to give me a heart attack?!”
“Okay, new rule- From now on your plan is not allowed to be ‘run in head-first and see what happens’.”
“Is asking you to shoot me a little ‘I’m not dead’ text every now and again really too much to ask??”
“So let me get this straight. You heard gun-fire. And you ran. Towards it?!”
“That’s it- You’re in time out.” “What?! I’m not a child-“ “I don’t care! Time out!”
“Must you bleed on everything I own??”
Big fan of characters who are just so done lmaoo, part 2??
One of my favourite simple yet effective whump tropes??
Pistol whipped!
Maybe they’re on their knees, held at gun point yet still quippy and sarcastic. Their captor gets fed up and with one quick strike, they crumple to the ground, out cold.
Character B hacks another cough into their hands, probably their hundereth of the day.
Except this time, as they glance down, they see specks of blood amongst the phlegm.
Well that’s new.
“That’s practically a blizzard out there- you’ll never find them!”
“Well I at least have to try!”
In light of all the snowy weather my area is having, consider:
Character A, their friends or their team following a trail of bloodied snow to find an injured and lost Character B.
One of my favourite rare/underused whump tropes??
Locked in a freezer.
Especially those kind of ice chests?? Like freezer boxes?? Only just big enough for someone to fit in, not much room to move at all.
Someone beaten and shoved into one of those. The bad guy either locks it or shoves something heavy on top. Our character jolts their back into the lid, realising with horror that it won’t budge. Maybe they’re manhandled in, bound and gagged, praying for their friends to find them.
Or one of those walk in freezers in stock rooms?? Our character is moving some boxes around when whatever’s propping the door open shifts and the door swings closed, locked. Or perhaps our character is fighting our bad guy, who shoves them in and locks the door, making eye contact through the little window before leaving. Or maybe our characters friend or co-worker closes the automatically locking door, without realising someones in there.
Maybe I’ll go on about it another time but I think the concept is pretty niche, I never really see it
Character A is left standing alone in the hallway of the hospital, clothes stained with Character B’s blood.
A feverish Character B leaning into Character A’s cool touch
Something I enjoy: Person not used to being carried gets carried
“I’m a grown man, I am not gonna use kitty-cat plasters!”
“I’m sorry, what do you mean kind-of stabbed?!”
Just when they’re finally about to rest, sleep-deprived Character B gets called to duty.
“I’m fine.” Character B insists through ragged breaths, “It doesn’t even hurt.”
In the past, Character B was hurt after revealing something personal about themself. Now, even with close friends, they struggle to share it.
After having a nightmare, Character B wakes up fighting, deaf to the reassurances of Character A.
Character B wakes up in hospital and is surprised to see their friends/team all there, in varying degrees of alertness.
“Why are you all here?? Don’t you have important things to do??” B asks Character A, the only one fully awake.
A gives them a perplexed look, “‘Cause we care about you, dumbass, that’s why.”
Character B gets hurt due to their friends negligence.
Only once they take a brief moment to sit down does Character B realise how tired they really are.
“Hey, I’m sorry to bother you, but-uh, I’m at the hospital. Could-could you come get me??”
“Uh,,, I don’t think your ankle is supposed to bend that way,,,”
Character A being the stoic leader, refusing to negotiate with the enemy side. But as soon as Character B is put in danger, A folds.
Character b sustains an injury but tries to ignore it, only to painfully peel back their clothing a couple days later to find a definitely infected wound.
Character b, bloody and disheveled, stumbling into Character As room/house. With a desperate look, b collapses to the floor.
Kidnapping whump can be so good, theres so many options,,,
Do they get drugged and wake up in an unfamiliar place?? Do they get a gun dug into their back and a whispered threat to comply?? Do they get jumped on the street and manhandled into a van??
What about once they’re there?? How do they react?? Are they stoic and unbreakable?? Defiant and quippy?? Or are they terrified, begging to be let go?? Do they cry?? Scream?? Or stay silent no matter what??
And what do their captors want?? Information?? Does b tell?? Or perhaps they want to send a message, to hurt someone close to b. Or maybe its personal, maybe they just want b.
What do they do to b?? Just rough them up a bit?? A couple strong punches or kicks?? Some threats, maybe?? Or do they go further?? Broken fingers, water boarding, whips?? Severed toes, extracted teeth, eye puncture?? Do they condition them or use non con or dehumanize them??
How does it end?? Are they rescued by their team, friends, caretaker or even enemy?? Do they escape on their own or with other victims?? Are they set free, after the captors are done with them?? Does their story end with the sweet release of death?? Or does it never end??
Ahhhhh, kidnapping,,,
((Any feedback is greatly appreciated!))
“Character B, you’re sick! Please just lay down and rest.”
“I’ll rest when I’m dead!”
“And that’s gonna be far sooner than you think if you don’t just lay down!”
Okay but manhandling??
Getting forced roughly to their knees ((perhaps with a gun pointed at their face))
Getting roughed up as a threat ((and their friends/caretaker finding out))
Slammed against a wall
Arms twisted painfully behind their back
A hand harshly covering their mouth
An arm wrapped around their neck, back flush against their captor
Grabbed by the hair
Grabbed around the midsection and lifted as they struggle
Grabbed by their shirt collar and pinned against a wall
Yeah,,, manhandling very good
