just watched Tubbo’s reaction to the allegations against him. I just gotta ask - why does everyone believe him, who has provided no evidence, yet not others, who have also provided no evidence? Wilbur, for example, said he does have evidence (texts iirc) but isn’t showing them out of privacy concerns, but no one believes him, yet everyone believes Tubbo, who simply told a story that for all we know can be fake? someone please explain. the community just seems so hypocritical to me.

Honestly all this Rue thing is stressing me out painfully, and seeing people throw the "groomer" label so lightly over, literally anyone they hate, feels invalidating (speaking as a grooming victim). It's sad when these talks started to be less about spreading awareness and more about internet fights, this is real people and your words have real consequences
I agree. I’m tired of seeing people throw the term around. And it infuriates me to no end when I see people using the situation just to cause arguments online. Like you said, these are real people and words have consequences.
I think it’s a lesson both sides need to learn. I’ve seen some really insensitive things from all sides. I try to handle the situation delicately when talking about it, so please correct me if I ever word anything in an insensitive manner.

I don't care about Wilbur or Rue, but I do think it's a very harmful idea that a victim should have a specific way they act, and if they are giggling, making jokes or calm, then it means they are lying about everything. I believe, that wasn't your intension, but it's still a bad thing to have your mind go to first. Laugher is a common answer to stress in humans, and if someone already went to therapy and were able to heal some of their trauma, letting them be more jokey and calm about it, they shouldn't be immediately labeled liars. There are a lot of other factors you can point to, like facts and words of other witnesses, not focus on emotions, which people (especially neurogivergent people) express very differently
Yeah, I really could’ve worded that better. I still hold my stance, but I do agree I could’ve worded my reasoning better.
I personally still doubt these allegations. I’ve always had this mindset of approaching serious topics (specifically allegations or claims) with scepticism. But that’s just me. I’m a skeptic overall, for pretty much any and all topics.
I respect your stance, but without definite evidence, I’ll keep supporting him.

it’s been a year since shelby’s allegations. give it a rest. stop thinking about it so much that you immediately accuse wilbur when you hear someone admit someone groomed them but leave the person unnamed.
