Based on a theory @taeiris and I were brewing:

Will eventually replaces Vecna hanging from the tentacle vines, and now has control over all the UD creatures including the Mindflayer. He uses all his strength, ordering them to charge after evil— ending in Vecna’s ultimate doom.

ps: I have the headcanon that Will lives with his hands stained with ink, because I live with my hands stained with ink so he will too.
