tsunami has actually been my favorite DOD character for a while! And I think I lived up to the expectations.

I was honestly a little intimidated by him because I wasn't sure I would end up happy with the design but I ended up happy with him in the end!

This is my favorite leafwing oc!

Their name is Birch and they love rain. They like to be around other dragons and they will never say no to cuddles!

I love the way I did their wings and I think the coloring turned out great! I hope you guys feel the same!

This is Hummingbird, my favorite oc. She is a rainwing/skywing hybrid. She is very optimistic and a bit over eccentric. Ther wings flap like a hummingbirds which allows her to fly every which way. She is great with dragonets and loves to volunteer at the daycare. She loves art and likes making crafts with the dragonets she works with. She also has a pet white cardinal named Mail.

I wanted to draw her with some birds ok?

looking at and comparing some of my old wof art with some redraws

first we got a nightwing

As you can probably see, the face is more expressive, and the sketch itself is a lot neater, when I was younger I used to think to make a good difference between wings I had to make them over the top in detail, because I didn’t change the snout shape, also for some reason I didn’t originally draw this nightwing with ears- which is a one off thing, I originally drew moon freckles on the nightwing so I copied that, but I left off the neck scales from the head, I also changed the type of horn, to resonate some headcanons, also the nose is now more like the noses in the graphic novels, the neck position itself is also more haughty and self invested (in my eyes)

Next, sandwing

You can probably see what kind of dragon I like to draw the most, the newer sandwing is more in your face, and the original looked quite derpy, like it was wilted, however the new one has more deliberate scales, more points, and ears designed for the breed, more pointed and slicked back to deflect sand from getting into them, the nose horn is also more like a sky wings than the original. While the sail was more accurate to sand wings in the original I like the newest :]

Next we have a hybrid between the two

This one is like the others, and a full mix between the two wings, it’s more well mixed than the original drawing, having more shaped that match with its parents

so yeah! If you want any of the characters then I can make better drawings of them with colour :3

Ocean - Large and fast, prefer living in the open ocean - Probably fastest type of all variants - not a great turn rate, weak fighter when at close quarters - strongest flyer out of all variants - fairly common variant in Sea Kingdom - pale eyes - Probably made up bulk of SeaWing army - low altitude flyers - Dorsal fin and fins on tail

Bay - Most common in Sea Kingdom - Beautiful iridescent scales - Multicolored eyes - Not as fast but much more agile in water - alright flyer, nothing special - Queen Coral is a Bay/Reef hybrid Reef - Smallest on average - Most colorful out of all variants - Has ridges on forehead - Multicolored eyes - extra rows of fins on neck, back, and tail - complex markings breaks up their shape in coral reefs - often used for ambush attacks in sw army along the coastline - second weakest flyer out of all sw variants

Fjord - prefers cold waters (shocking) - speckles are fairly common markings - mid size - fairly fast in water - average flyer - good all arounder - typically have single color eyes River - second most colorful - eyes are typically brown/grey/black - prefers freshwater but can breath seawater after an adjustment period - used for infiltration and recon in sw army - tallest fins (at front of head) on average

Deep - most rare variant - starts out super super tiny then BAM GIANT DRAGON - most amount of bio-luminescent scales - Deep Aquatic is hardest to follow on account of all the extra vocab - very smooth guys - extra fins on neck, back, tail - very pale eyes, with pale pupils - either very dark in color (see above) or very very pale - no inbetween - can live in shallower waters, but they have to move up to them SUPER gradually (hello dragon decompression sickness) - technically has the ability to breath air but they cant be on the surface for hardly any amount of time

or, well, if anyone is interested in beetlewing designs, i've got some old sketches i'll turn into designs! send in an ask with a number (for headshape) and a palette (and a moodboard, if you'd like) and i'll design it! i can do very simple, or with a bit of design, to somewhat complex; i can also add accessories too, if you'd like.

finished design will be laid out a bit like that post-it. i've not designed anything myself in a couple years, so i have no clue how they'll turn out.

he is very repulsed/hates his silkwing side but he is trying to learn to like it more and just trying to improve in general

he loves to fly and race! He is the most impatient and short tempered dragon you will ever meet but he makes up for it with how fast he can think in the moment and how calm he is under pressure

i got–and drew–my first wof ocs back in 2022 (i never made any when i first read the books?) and they've been floating around my brain for those two years. anyway, i decided to redo those first drawings i'd done back then

these three were designed by spiderz on flightrising!

I thought I'd try sending a derg headshot request! Never done this before, and I really don't mind if you can't get to this one hehe :)

She's an ancient dragon from before the tribes were formed, an ancestor to Skywings and Rainwings (Called Sunclaws). She also happens to be one of the first animus dragons AND is the first firescales ever! (It's a horribly traumatic background lmao. Her dad's a messed up animus guy who would never be the same after her mom died. LOTS of Queen Scarlet-esque terribleness going on here.)

She's finally escaped her father by basically ending herself and because of these shenanigans she has awoken revived in a modern day Mud/Nightwing's head. Free to live how she wants to, she's now got nothing but a dissociative mental illness, this kid's weird powers, and a dream! Lol

Crimson! also, passionate rambles about characters are great!

i had a bit of trouble replicating that firescales glow, but i hope what i went with to portray it looks alright.

Hello Chaossandwich! Can you please draw my sona? Here are some pictures/ references!

Earliest concept: early June

Another drawing from late June.

This one is from early august.

Information: Their name is Hornet. They are a Rain+ Hive hybrid. Their gender is nonbinary. Background: They were born into a noble status. However, their parents died when they were young. They studied in one of the top schools in Pantala and eventually became one of the best toxicologists in both Pyrrhia and Pantala. They assist in assasinations , most resulting in death of the victim.

Appearance: Large size. Legs are quite lengthy. Body covered with shiny metallic scales. Unlike Hivewings, Hornet has stripes not spots. Their spikes are long and sharp.

Abilities: Smooth armor is able to reflect or provide protection towards projectiles and knives etc, making Hornet quite durable. Their unusually large fangs located near the back of their mouth is the place where venom is injected, causing quite some damage to the target but it is still hard to get a good bite for the venom in the fangs to do its job. Hornet possesses ( wut are those called) those claw like spikes that can protrude through Hivewing’s wrists, which are fairly big and are curved. The venom that Hornet injects from their wrists thingy and fangs are a mixture of Hivewing and Rainwing venom. Venom properties: green in appearance. Can appear as green ‘smoke’ as they can ‘leak’ from Hornets poison glands. Although venom is not really as deadly as rain wing venom, Hornet’s venom can apparently be released as high temperatures, thus burning the victim’s flesh and causing extensive damage. The venom also can cause quite a lot of pain. Hornet also has a tail stinger which injects the same venom( yaaayyyy this is getting repetitive)

Notes*: you may change some of their lore but not that much. You may simplify their designs a little or alot what ever you chose! If you don’t want to draw my sona, it’s fine. Thank you!

Amethyst A sand/sky hybrid being kept and raised in ravage, held hostage by Yucca(A sandwing trader) A snippy, aggressive dragon for her age who doesn't see much hope in her future getting out. Living in Ravage isnt an easy life for a child Easy to anger and violence she constantly is fighting to survive. She's kept by Yucca to be used as a fancy decoration who’s doing party tricks, playing music, singing songs, dancing with swords. The dragonete learned to do many things to entertain and to harm, knowing how to make shapes with her flames and smoke, but also knowing how to accidentally let a dancers sword slip. She only hopes one day she can be somewhere safe, away from the dragon she depends on so much, but fears more than anything. 

This character is for my friends WoF Au Divided Wings

Durian the rainwing cook! Part of the rainwing cooking department he’s one of many incharge of helping feed the kingdom by making dishes and and growing food. He grows Durians and jackfruits since they’re his favorite but anything with a strong smell he’ll eat right up. He loves his job helping feed his section of the forest even if it can be draining helping a huge team make tons of meals 3 times a day. But its all worth it to know he’s helping the kingdom.  This character is for my friends WoF Au Divided wings!

Bongo! This is my sky/mud wing hybrid Bongo! He's a big silent boy who just wants to do the right thing no matter what! He's apart of a Wings of Fire AU story called Divided wings that I'm working on with my friend group!

Rabbit and Fox

Rabbit: Born weak and sickly he’s never been able to do much. His heart and general chest is weak and runs poorly. He cannot fight and can barley work for long without suffering from lethargy, coughing fits, and in worse cases vomiting. Because of his sickness, he stays home and is constantly protected by his older brother. He feels bad about being such a burden to his brother but is happy to work on making fur clothing and fur-built wears to try and help them out. 

Fox: Being low ranking he cannot properly provide medical care for his little brother, the same condition that took their mother after she laid their eggs. He joins hunting parties and takes dangerous hunting jobs to provide and get what's needed to keep his brother healthy as their the only family they have. The stress makes him grumpy and not being strong and darker in color leads to constant ridicule which all stacks up over time.
